Waterfront property: Couples Getaway: monthly/weekly/daily rates

One bedroom suite has a king sized bed, living room with fireplace and tv, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. The space is very comfortable for two people who want some quiet space to relax together. Outdoors there is a large shared deck, several seating areas, a shower, a BBQ and a hot tub. Bring your water toys or use ours and enjoy direct access to Okanagan Lake. After a great day on the lake relax in the hot tub or beach before settling in for a cozy sleep.
Your suite is over the garage attached to a house on a sandy beach on Okanagan lake with 100 kilometers of lake in the front yard. You have a large bedroom with a closet and laundry facilities. The keyless private entry is very convenient and there is one on-street parking space. The full kitchen has stove, oven, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, island and pantry with all the conveniences. The bar has basic utensils including various highball and wine glasses and corkscrew.
Locally there are wineries, bike and walking trails, tennis and pickleball courts and many fine dining establishments. You can even take a walk or kayak to a pub on the waterfront.

Peaceful and Relaxing

It was a delightful 3 night stay-we loved the little ‘extras’ that you don’t expect including use of kayaks, SUP, and bikes! The private location on the beach with hot tub, spacious and cosy suite as well as the personal touches will definitely bring us back again. Pam and Doug are superb hosts. They had our suite incredibly well stocked with everything you could need: spices, food wraps, coffee, half and half, drinks, snacks - all complimentary. The bed was very comfortable with soft, wonderful sheets. The property was wonderfully located on the lake with water toys available for use.Doug and Pam are lovely people who aim to please their guests. They made our 5 day stay fabulous. Lakefront stay

The location was great ... Right on the lake with access to a nice dock to sit and enjoy. Use of paddleboards and life jackets was a bonus. The suite was very nicely appointed and clean, everything you need is there. This is a fully seperate one bedroom in a house yet it was very private. We will stay here again.

Simply Beautiful

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful property that boasts a well-maintained private beach and a lush grassy area with required shade for hot days but lots of sunny spots for tanning.The hosts were exceptionally welcoming, ensuring our stay was comfortable and that we had more than we could even need. The suite itself was spotless, cozy, well-cooled, stocked with all the necessary amenities, and provided a cozy retreat after a day of resting and relaxing outdoors.One of the highlights was the variety of water sports available, offering plenty of fun options. Additionally, the outdoor sitting areas were plentiful, providing numerous comfortable sitting areas to relax and enjoy the surroundings.However, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. The proximity to a small airport meant that small planes frequently took off nearby, which could be quite noisy. On colder rainy days, the limited view of the lake from the small bedroom window was a bit disappointing. While there were window seats, they were wooden, somewhat uncomfortable, and offered limited space.Overall, the property offers a delightful experience with its beautiful setting, excellent hosts, abundant outdoor activities, and great location.

Amazing Getaway By the Lake

Pam and Doug have a beautiful suite on an amazing property. The suite has its own entrance and gives you the feeling of having your own space. It is very spacious and came equipped with everything we needed. Being right on the lake was amazing. We spent our days suntanning, floating out on water, paddle boarding, watching sunsets, and much more. Being 10 minutes to town was great as well; we went from hanging out on the beach during the day to heading into town for dinner at night. Both Pam and Doug were very accommodating and had it all. We were greeted with a delicious bottle of wine when we arrived and immediately felt very comfortable in their place. Everything seemed new and the place was spectacularly clean. Would go back in a heart beat. Thanks again Pam and Doug, hope to be back soon!

We were thoroughly impressed with the apartment and all of the special touches that were provided to make our stay amazing. The apartment is newly finished and beautifully decorated. It was spotlessly clean and welcoming upon our arrival. There are a number of ceiling fans as well as air conditioning to keep the space cool at all times. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom has a large walk in shower as well as 2 sinks and lots of storage space. All necessities are readily at hand for kitchen, bathroom, linens, towels, etc. as well as extras to take outside to enjoy the beautiful back yard that includes a lovely beachfront area, dock, hot tub and shaded grassy area for relaxing in. The hosts provide kayaks, paddle boards and floaties for guest use as well. We were also able to store our bikes in the shed in the back yard. The property is beautifully landscaped and cared for by the owners, who also live on the property. They are so welcoming and friendly and made us feel right at home in their shared back yard. We had lots of quiet time to enjoy mornings and evenings on the beach or the dock, with a coffee or a cocktail. There is an airport nearby so small planes overhead sporadically. For leisure activities we enjoyed bike rides to a coffee shop and hiking around both Okanagan and Kalamalka lakes. Local highlights for us were: Davison Orchards, Okanagan Spirits Craft Distillery, Cambium Cidery, Grey Monk Winery and Phoenix Steakhouse. Great vacation!

Overall our stay was amazing! Pam and Doug are both welcoming and provide a lovely home. Check in was a breeze and the home was well stocked with all the right items plus some great extras. We enjoyed having beach access and morning coffee on the dock. When we asked for recommendations, Pam was very helpful and had great suggestions. We would be happy to return for another stay!

Convenient location.

Amazing suite! Close to Vernon for groceries and restaurants. Great for paddle sports and lakeside chillin'. Good walking area as well. Lots of stairs to suite so must be physically able ... easy to get steps in!

We are a retired couple who married in 1987. We moved from Alberta to the Okanagan in 2002 and we have upgraded this property nonstop ever since. This latest addition is a sparkling clean suite over the garage with a private entrance and keyless entry. We have had vacation rentals over the years but this one is located at our home. We want you to have the choice of how much or how little you interact with us. We know the area fairly well so feel free to ask if you need info. We like to meet on the beach for chats but if you want privacy we understand and respect your boundaries. We love making people comfortable and having other people enjoy our space.

This is a clean and comfortable suite that was completed in 2021. We have tried to make it as care free as possible for our guests and you will have full access to the beachfront and lake as well as the hot tub. We have a wonderful willow tree in the beachfront that provides us with excellent shade. There are stand up paddle boards, kayaks and everything that you need to use them right from our sandy beach with no extra fees.

Beverages and 420 can be enjoyed on the beachfront. We have a firepit that can be used on calm days. We have water toys such as kayaks, canoe and stand up paddle boards. There are several water floaties you can borrow as well. Lots of places say they are lake front but we actually are on a sandy beach.
