Die Küche hat eine Frühstücksbar für drei Personen.

Der Essbereich verfügt über einen großen Tisch für sechs Personen und bietet durch die großen Fenster eine großartige Aussicht.

Das Küchendeck hat einen Cocktailtisch und einen großen Grill aus Edelstahl. Das obere Vorderdeck hat viele Stühle und einen Picknicktisch für die Sommermonate.

Alle drei Schlafzimmer haben komfortable Queen-Matratzen und wir haben ein echtes Etagenbett für die Kinder.

Das Haus wird durch Zentralheizung erwärmt und ist sehr gut isoliert. Bear Haven hat ZWEI Warmwasserbereiter; eine für jede Etage, daher sollte immer genügend heißes Wasser vorhanden sein!

Bear Haven befindet sich auf einem großen, flachen Grundstück mit viel Platz zum Spielen für die Kinder, es gibt offene Bereiche hinter uns und einen halben Block entfernt befinden sich Wanderwege, die in ein 700 Morgen großes Naturschutzgebiet führen.

Wir haben Bären, Hirsche, Kojoten, Waschbären, Eichhörnchen, Streifenhörnchen und so viele verschiedene Vögel in der Kabine gesehen. Bringen Sie etwas Saatgut mit und füllen Sie die Zufuhr auf dem Achterdeck auf. Lehnen Sie sich dann zurück und warten Sie, bis alle Tiere auftauchen! Unsere Tochter hat sogar die Kleiber Samen direkt aus ihrer Hand essen lassen

Bear Haven ist unser zweites Zuhause und wir haben es zu einem komfortablen, warmen und einladenden Ort gemacht, an dem sich unsere ganze Familie treffen kann.

Persönliche Details wie handgefertigte Möbel, handgefertigte Quilt-Wandbehänge, Gemälde lokaler Künstler und alte Fotos, die die Geschichte der Bären zeigen, zieren die Hütte. Sauberkeit wird bei uns großgeschrieben, daher wird Bear Haven nach jedem Gast professionell gereinigt. Egal, ob Ihre oder unsere Familie als nächstes ankommt, es ist fertig, sauber und prickelnd!

Big bear getaway

Bear haven cabin is such a beautiful cabin! Very clean, modern, had entertainment and great place to relax. Will definitely stay again. Loved how it was a smoke free and pet free cabin! It was exactly what I was looking for as my son has severe allergies to dogs and we don’t have the choice to stay anywhere. Mr. Mark is very professional!

Exceeded Our Expectations!

Our stay at Bear Haven was amazing! The owners and property managers were so kind and oh so hospitable. The cabin was impeccably clean and so lovely. The cabin is so cozy and provided us with four wonderful days with our children and grandchildren. The TV is equipped with everything you could hope to watch and the gaming system provided us with lots of healthy and fun competition. I can't recommend this cabin enough!

Amazing Christmas Cabin for the Family

Our little ones absolutely adored staying here! As did we! The kitchen was nicely stocked - which made us feel so welcomed - and there was a wonderful selection of comfy blankets to keep us cozy for our holiday vacation. Everything was so clean. Most of all - the decor was the best part! Beautiful quilt work, art, wall decor, and the bear haven theme was so fun! There are also games and puzzles! We definitely hope to return!

This home is so gorgeous and such a great location

The pictures are completely accurate but cannot begin to show the spectacular beauty of this home. The little touches at every turn, the sheer spaciousness, the quiet neighborhood and nearby trails. It was so hard to leave when our 4 days were up and return to the real world, we would return in a heartbeat, fantastic memories, great hosts nearby and the owners were just so delightful, I hope you get a chance to be here too someday. Lovely Cabin for Family Snow Weekend

Bear Haven was fantastic. We loved our time there and felt that the listing was very accurate. The main family room was spacious enough for us all to enjoy time together playing games in front of the fire and watching movies. There were a bunch of board games under the coffee table in the family room that my kids were thrilled about. There were plenty of blankets available for us to cuddle up in, so we felt cozy and warm the whole weekend. The kitchen had everything we needed for us to make delicious meals, although I was surprised there was no cooking oil, just because it had everything else you would need. Fortunately, I brought my own little bottle of olive oil so we were covered. This is not a complaint at all...just a tip for anyone planning to stay there to bring some cooking oil. Bear Haven is in a lovely location with beautiful views. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider returning for another family snow weekend!

Great Stay!

This property was perfect for my family. We had me and my husband, 2 kids and my mom/dad and brother. The property was very clean and the master bed was very comfortable. Plenty of space and the side yard is a great area to play in. It was a very easy and accommodating check in and the hosts were very nice and responsive.

Winter Oasis

We had a wonderful stay and trip thanks to this charming property. The area recommendations from the property owners were spot on and had easy to follow directions on how to use everything on the property. The TV had a plethora of apps that were ready to watch including paramount +, youtube tv, hbo, disney, etc. My kids also enjoyed the video games & board games. The hiking trail is very close and allowed for some fun snowball fights. The heater in this place is no joke, you will NOT be cold. We actually had to lower the thermostat at night because we were too hot. Highly recommend the property to others and will be back.

Best Big Bear Stay Ever! @ Bear Haven Cabin

This property was just as advertised. Phenomenal. Great cabin, clean, amazing cabin decor, and great location. Four of us stayed here - My wife, two children (ages 9 and 11), and I. We couldn't have had a better time. The cabin was outstanding. The location was amazing - quiet and peaceful. And it had just snowed so we had snowball fights, built a snowman, and hiked the nearby trail! Then at night we played board games, watched movies, and played on the table top arcade game - so much fun!!! Mark was communicative and helpful. We took full advantage of his recommendations for dining and had a wonderful lunch at Get the Burger! Property manager Pam was fantastic, helpful, and prompt. If you want a perfect family cabin experience, this is it! Thank you Mark, Susie, and Pam!

Upper Moonridge Cabin

Very nice cabin. We really enjoyed our stay. Mark the owner and Pam the property manager are both very nice and helpful. The location is beautiful and we really enjoyed the wood-burning fireplace. We saw Blue Jays, scrub Jays, woodpecker‘s and a coyote.

Best Mountain Getaway

This was by far the best rental my family has stayed in through VRBO! Mark and Suzie have thought about everything to make this the perfect place to stay in Big Bear. Three cozy couches right near the fireplace make it a great place to hang with the family and play games or watch TV. It is also open to the kitchen, which is well appointed with anything you might need, making it possible to still feel part of the action. We had a group of 5 adults and 2 children. The 3 bedrooms were a perfect fit and the beds were all very comfortable. The cleanest rental I've seen by far. The higher elevation of the cabin made for awesome sunsets and views. Close to town as well. I cannot say enough good things about Bear Haven. Mark was great at communicating with us before and during our stay and Pam, who helps manage the property when Mark and Suzie are away, was also great at communication and prompt at meeting us at the house to check-in. This will definitely be our #1 option for a rental cabin in Big Bear! Don't hesitate to book it!

Great Family Vacation!

We have never stayed at a more spacious and well-appointed home. The owners took every care to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Kids, parents, and grandparents alike played board games and video games. We took a long walk at the Ecological Preserve just down the street, and had tons of fun in the snow on the property. The property manager and the owners were very easy to communicate with and available for even the smallest question. We truly enjoyed our quality time together at Bear Haven Cabin. Thank you!

AMAZING Cabin

Mark & Suzie where great to work with. They made sure we were informed with all COVID regulations for the county and that we'd have a safe trip to the mountains. The cabin is tucked away in the nicest neighborhood with very quick access to the slopes, hiking and downtown! The common room was PERFECT for the group to hang yet everyone had their own room and space. Highly recommend. Thank you!

We are Mark & Suzie and we would like to welcome you to Bear Haven Cabin. Mark has been coming here since he was a young child when his parents bought their first cabin in Big Bear City back in the early 1970s. Mark and Suzie met in High school and that is when he introduced her to the beautiful Big Bear Valley. We are fortunate to have our home not far from Bear Haven and spend most of our time there when we are not traveling for work.

We have traveled all over North America and stayed in many cabins and always have used VRBO to book just like many of our guests have. We have had many wonderful stays along with a few clunkers. From these experiences we have learned what we like and what we think our guests would enjoy.

When we saw Bear Haven for the first time we fell in love with it. Located in upper Moonridge in the High Timber Ranch area it sits on a corner lots with a large level backyard. There is little traffic back in this area so it is very quiet with lots of open spaces to explore. You walk in on the second floor to the great room which is bright and airy with lots of natural light. Plenty of room for family and friends to gather and enjoy, watch a sporting event, movie, play video games, or just relax with a book. It is close to skiing/snowboarding, golfing and the Moonridge Zoo.
