Lakeside Holiday Home Myalup

If you're looking for a quiet getaway not too far from Perth this holiday home is perfect. It's only 1.5 hours drive from Perth.

The house has a natural coastal feel with a landscaped native rustic garden outside.
Freshwater lake is right on your doorstep for you to take in the view and have a paddle in the 3 kayaks provided. Enjoy the wildlife, escape the city, relax and unwind in nature.

Please be aware close supervision must be taken with younger children near the lake.

*No pets or parties allowed- sorry. Not suitable for 10 adults. 8 adults max, as bunk beds are not suitable for adults.

Our place is a brilliant space for families or large groups. With 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and spaces where you can escape the group for a quiet read of a book in a cosy corner, or continue the fun and games.

The house has been designed so 2 families can sleep comfortably. It has parent and children's rooms together at each end of the house. Plus a separate theatre room. There is a basketball ring and balls, some outside sports gear, plus kids toys and books included. We welcome you to "take a book and leave a book."

Walking distance to Old Coast Road Brewery and the Crooked Carrot Cafe and playground. 7 minute drive Myalup Beach and 10 min drive to Binningup Beach with swimming, fishing, surfing and beach access for 4WDs.

Other close by attractions include Miami Bakehouse, Vineyead 28, Stirling Cottage Kitchen, Bunbury Farmers Market, Treendale Farm Hotel and Ha Ve Harvey Cheese.

Take a drive to Preston Beach, Yalgorup National Park and Lake Brockman, as they are not too far away.

Close to Harvey and Binningup golf courses, with Bunbury and Sanctuary Golf courses just a bit further down the road.

Please note: guests will have access to the entire house, except the garage, the walk in robe in the master bedroom and the outside shed. Lastly, to help protect the property when we are not there and for monitoring any necessary maintenance, there are security cameras located around the outside of the house . There are no cameras inside the house.

A quiet getaway close to Perth. A great space to relax, catch up with friends. The kayaks were a big favourite for our stay, as was the coffees nearby at the Crooked Carrot. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and recommend this house.

Wonderful place to stay for any type of group. Close to pub and cafe. Shower was nice and hot and the TV worked well. Two important things in a holiday home. Everything was great except that only the king bed was comfortable for adults to sleep on. We would have given 5 stars but for the beds. The rest would suit kids

Perfect Stay

The Lakeside Holiday Home is a fantastic place for a relaxing stay. Situated on a lake, a few minutes walk from the Crooked Carrot in a small estate east of the coastal Myalup township. This property provides many creature comforts you would want for a tranquil getaway. If lucky enough, you may see blue wrens, Carnaby, Red Tail Cockatoo, and Ibis from the backyard. It is an excellent home for families who want to kick back as it is situated just 20 minutes from Bunbury and the Ferguson Valley and only 45 minutes south of Mandurah. This home provides a perfect base for those wishing to enjoy all the South offers. The kayaks and a stand-up paddle board make it all the more fun so that you might explore the lake—a brilliant spot.

Great Views

The view of the private lake from the house were nice. We enjoyed the fire pit on the first night, the indoor fire place kept the house really warm. The set in the living area was good we could all work in the kitchen together with a lot of room. The beds were every comfortable and location was great the crocked carrot was walking distance. Over all the place and location was great Thank you for letting us stay there. The house was not available online when we need it I message the owner and asked if we could stay on the dates we needed and they were very happy to change there plans for us very grateful

We loved our 2 nights here! Great little place on a lake. Kids loved the kayaks and having the firepit down on the water then heading inside to the woodfire by the TV. Cows located just about the rode amused the boys till it rained! Thanks for a great stay

A lovely house in a unique location, within a small estate with its own private lake that you can canoe and even swim in. It also has an abundance and variety of birdlife. And lastly, only a few minutes from the Crooked Carrot!

Beautiful home in a gorgeous location

We absolutely loved our stay at Lakeside Holiday Home in Myalup. From the minute we arrived on the street it had such a beautiful feel, the area is so peaceful. The house was modern, clean and very well equipped. We particularly loved the extra touches, adults were given two towels, there were two bath mats in each bathroom and enough toilet paper to accommodate our group for our whole stay, they seem like small things but they make all the difference. The outside area was lovely, sitting at the table overlooking the lake, listening to the birds while the kids play on the lawn. The location was very good, a few minutes drive to Myalup beach for some fishing made our weekend just perfect. Thank you very much for having us in your home Sharon, we are already trying to work when we can come again.

Lakeside nature retreat

Lovely clean, spacious beautiful lakeside setting. Great stay for nature lovers. Definitely some snakes around so need to be respectful of this. There are cameras outside the property for security. Would definitely love to stay again

Relaxing and family friendly

A lovely and quiet spot enjoyed with family. House was clean and well equipped especially for our 3 year old daughter who enjoyed the books and toys. Kayaking on the lake was great fun. Crooked carrot is amazing for families as is the Old Coast Road Brewery. Flies were a bit of a pain but that is everywhere and time of year specific so we used fly traps and fans to help.
