We stayed at Coconut Point for two weeks. The property was not as represented. The pool pump was leaking from day one and, except for the last day, the pool was either dirty, murky, covered in debris, or unusable. Our host told us to add water daily because the water dropped several inches daily, causing the pump outside our bedroom to make enough noise to wake us around 3am. The host acknowledged he knew about the problem before our arrival. On day 11 the pump was replaced, but the work was not completed until day 13, leaving the pool completely unusable for three days. The house lacked functioning central ac, something the host confirmed after we arrived. Two bedrooms had mini-split units, but one bedroom and the bathrooms had no ac. During our stay, one of the bedroom units failed, leaked water onto the floor, and was so noisy two of us slept on couches for two nights before it was replaced. We lost running water twice. On day 6 the water tank ran dry despite assurances it would not. After being refilled, the house water pump failed completely the next morning, leaving us without running water until late on day 7.The house is beautiful, but it needs maintenance and a thorough cleaning. We cleaned kitchen cabinets ourselves, replaced light bulbs, repaired broken items, and found the advertised kayak paddles broken until they were replaced. Overall, we were disappointed that significant known issues with the pool and air conditioning hadn't been addressed before we arrived.
