Lake Hawea has a great range of biking and walking trails, and it's just a short cycle from Erskine Place, along Cemetery Road, to the Hawea River Trail. Cycle all the way to Albertown, where you can get a well deserved flat white and warm croissant at the patisserie.

If you fancy an adventure a bit further afield, why not make the 15-minute trip to Wanaka, or take the beautiful journey over the Crown Range to Queenstown in just over an hour.
