Welcome to the Bellarine Beach Shack in Portarlington, 1.45hr drive from Melbourne. Come to switch off and relax all year round with gorgeous views of the bay and city. Enjoy The surrounding area for wine, golf, beaches, water sports and an adventure park for kids in the summer months. We have made our beach home as comfortable as possible with WIFI, wood fire and a spa inspired bathroom. If you need to sleep 10 there is a king bed and small bathroom available extra charges apply.

A slow weekend in the rain

We had a beautiful stay at the “white house” as my four year old daughter called it. Fire on all day and night, monopoly, uno, movies, walks, the Celtic festival, local towns explored. The perfect reset weekend as a family Thank you for having us and our dog Baloo!

Portarlington beach house holiday

Had a great time at Portarlington beach house. This is a well serviced property with great amenities. It is right near the beach with a bayside view of the city. It is the perfect place to relax for a few days. It was also pet friendly with plenty of yard space. Our dog loved the outdoor swtting.

Large comfortable house

Beautiful house - spacious with large fully fenced grassed land. Lovely outdoor decking with views of the water across to Melbourne skyline - really stunning. The house is very well equipped - great heating and cooling. Everything in excellent condition. Really enjoyable time - house was perfect

Peaceful Xmas Getaway

We all had a great time celebrating Xmas at this well accomodating spot in Portarlington. The views of Melbourne are lovely and the surrounding area is peaceful. We also rented the additional annex cabin which was very handy for our party size, though it could do with a little bit of maintenance (broken taps, hard to open door & cleaner towels). I would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a quiet & comfortable stay in Portarlington!

Fantastic stay!

Amy was very accomodating to our short notice accomodation needs, she was happy to help with any requirements and was very responsive with communicating. This property was fully equipped for our family stay, great amenities for young children, including a playground setup in the clean and green back yard. Amy has thought of everything and our kids loved the bunk bed room. The fireplace was a great touch and aloud for a even more cozy stay, fantastic location and the view of the water was breathless even from the longe room! Thank Amy for your fantastic hosting, our stay was wonderful and I couldn’t praise your accomodation and hosting enough.

Portarlington family friendly

Property was very clean and well presented. Beds were comfortable and doona's and pillows soft. Property owner was also accommodating to our family's needs. We didn't bring our bicycles and deeply regretted it as the tracks are excellent and it seems everyone else was enjoying bike riding also. From the kitchen window you can watch people going past, jogging, walking their dogs, bike riding, people riding on their jet ski's, kayaks and boats, it was great to watch. It's very peaceful at the property, no noisy neighbours, ample parking and a nice big back yard for your children to play safely as its all fenced securely. For the whole 7 days the weather was excellent, we will definitely come back next time with our bikes.

Fabulous waterfront retreat

Loved this Portarlington waterfront property. Location was perfect for a peaceful stay with uninterrupted water views. House was perfect for my family with bunk beds for the kids and relaxing room for the parents. Fabulous kitchen with all you need and many extras (yes those wine glasses for me and something unbreakable for the little people). Lots of space for everyone in the lounge room to either watch the tv, relax with a fire or just enjoy the amazing view. Little thoughtful touches (bath bombs, kids toys and coffee pods) made it a great place for a weekend away. Great communication from the host made it an easy and good experience. Thanks! We can’t wait to come back.
