The Space:
Step into nostalgia at this charming older home, offering three bedrooms for up to six guests. Two bedrooms feature queen-sized beds, while the third boasts a king-single with a trundler underneath.
Relive cherished memories in the old-style kitchen and laundry, reminiscent of youth holidays. Stay comfortable year-round with a heat pump in the lounge and additional heaters in the bedroom.
Outside, kids can frolic in the backyard while you store bikes or gear in the lockable shed. Enjoy off-street parking and unwind on the lovely deck with morning coffee or an afternoon drink after your Taupō adventures.
If you are attending one of Taupo’s many events, this cottage is a great central base. The swim start of the Ironman is only 5 min walk away and T1 is just around the corner. The running and cycle course of most events is just by its doorstep, so your family and friends can easily take breaks while cheering you on.

The lake is an easy five-minute walk down the road. The house neighbours a Foursquare Superette and a café. A block away is The Brantry, a local fine dining restaurant. The house is within walking distance to several more restaurants and on Sunday, you’re merely blocks away from the weekly craft market.
If you are coming to one of Taupō’s sporting events, this house is in the perfect location as the racecourse of most big events (Ironman, Taupo Marathon, and Cycle Challenge) is only 200m from the property, so your supporters can easily take breaks while cheering you on. The Tongariro North Domain, where most races start and end, is only a quick drive away.
Other Things to Note:

• Excludes weekends, public holidays, and school holidays.
• The additional free night must be requested at the time of booking.
To take advantage of the promotion please check with us first to see if your dates qualify. You will need to book 2 nights and we will block the third consecutive night from the calendar for you to enjoy.
Please note the backyard has a marked off area that is not safe for children.
When booking, please advise how many beds you require, and we will prepare that quantity for you. A highchair and baby cot may be available on request. Please enquire before booking (Bedding for the cot is not provided).
Breakfast items are not provided but there is plenty of tea, coffee, and basic cooking necessities such as salt, pepper, and oil.
For the sake of our neighbours, noise must be kept indoors and to a minimum after 10pm. There are strict no parties, smoking or pets rules in all Be My Guest properties.
The fireplace is not available to use.
If you are booking this property on a platform other than Airbnb, an authorisation hold is required. This hold will be captured as a ‘preauthorisation of funds’ from your payment card, prior to arrival and will be auto released 2 days from check-out, so long as no damage or costs have been incurred. The 'hold' for this property is $200.
All Be My Guest linen comes from our professional linen supplier. It is thermally disinfected at temperatures high enough to eliminate germs and risks such as Covid-19. In order to keep the linen costs for your stay economical, we do not provide face cloths.
This property has a security camera on the carport pointing to the drive and rear entrance.

We have a key box and will provide the pin number three days before your check-in date.
