Perfect location and spacious house

This was the perfect spot for our whole family. We were visiting family that lives in National and this made the trip so simple. The rooms were big with private baths off of each which was a plus. The beds were comfortable and the house clean.

Batten Cottage is a Great Place to Stay!

The cottage is roomy and well-equipped. Location is close to all things Pinehurst! The pool is very nice and was never busy during our stay. Kim and Kathy from Pinehurst Realty were always available and very accommodating!

Great setup and location for a golf foursome. Hosts could not have been more helpful. Would repeat.

4/10 – Mangelhaft

Gut: Lage
Verbesserungswürdig: Sauberkeit, Check-in und Kommunikation
I’ve rented with VRBO for years and have not experienced the amount of back and forth with the rental team like I have here. The amount of times they called with silly questions, we had to submit payment via paper which made it feel like an insecure payment process, and the realization that there was no air conditioning in the entire unit but they didn’t move us to another location or offer an immediate discount was disappointing. The carpets are dirty and we had two dead cockroaches that we found. I was in town for a Celebration of Life and the location was ideal but the accommodations poor. The property has a lot of potential but they should invest in making it a nicer place to stay, Including bigger beds as my and my husband were not meant to sleep in a full size bed.I’m guessing this stay is ‘pre attractive for a group of male golfers but as a mom and woman who had my mother and children with me, I don’t recommend staying in this unit.

Great Place For a Golf Trip

Great rental for golf. Amazing golf very close by. Only bummer is not being able to play #9 which is the closest, but that’s at the discretion of Pinehurst Resort obviously. Not the property.

Golf trip—8 guys

We love Batten Cottage! Our 2nd stay…I would give it 5 stars again, but only some minor issues. The back sliding door can hardly open but the deck and view, seating is awesome. We love the location, quiet and clean. The bathrooms can use a little updating, our toilet didn’t flush well. Just little things, but overall a ton of space, we love the 2 beds in each bedroom. Hope to be back!
