Cozy Cabin with beautiful views

It was a great stay at Eagles Lodge. The rooms were well furnished and the was ample room for a large family or two. Jacuzzi was a hit and the fireplace added for a cozy stay.

Empty Promises

Nice view but for a VRBO premium property it was not worth half the price we paid. TVs didn’t work, DVD player didn’t work, hot tub didn’t get hot and the list goes on

Perfect Place for Families & Friends

We had a wonderful time at Black Bear Falls. The location is perfect. Its about 10-15 min from downtown Gatlinburg and about 20-30 min from Pigeon Forge. We had two families in our group and the adults had the two upstairs bedrooms and the 6 kids (3 per family) had the downstairts two bedrooms. We loved the layout, it was perfect for us. The kids had the downstairs all to themselves which made noise levels extremley low. They loved the pool table and game machine. They also enjoyed watching movies on the sectional couch. My absolute favorite thing about this cabin was the view! It was awesome! Its a postcard view! We spent a lot of our time on the porches drinking coffee or having a drink in the hot tub. It provides just enough privacy that you dont feel like your out in the open, like the other cabins around. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of extra pillows and blankets. We cooked most all of our meals at the cabin. If I had any requests for improvement it would be to add more dish towels, oven mits, a cookie sheet, and a skillet. GREAT STAY, LOCATION, & COMFORT! We would highly recommend!

Great location!

We had a great stay with plenty of room for our group. The house had enough games and perks for us to spend most of our time inside. Would come back again for the amazing views and cozy house.

Nine cabin, no privacy. Cabin looking over this cabin.

Nice cabin but not private. Our family had a great time being together. The pool table, hot tub and game table were a hit. Unfortunately, the beds were not comfortable (at all) and the cabin needed cleaning and painting. Stains on floors and ceilings. Too pricey to not have a clean, non-stained cabin. Staff was very nice and attentive.

The cabin was nice and spacious. The view was stunning. We had a nice weekend getaway.

The whole process was easy, although we had problems with the dishwasher flooding the floor, so we had to hand wash our dishes. It took two phone calls to get anyone to come out and then they had to order a part. We went without a dishwasher and no compensation.

Fantastic cabin with million dollar view

Getting to the cabin can be a little tricky, especially coming from Chicago where everything is flat. Lol. But as soon as we stepped into the cabin we were blown away by the view. The place was very clean and well kept. The kids were surprised to find a PS3 in the gaming area, they didn't use it much but it was nice for them to unwind after walki g around all day in the smokies and downtown Gatlinburg. The pool was also great and we took advantage of the hot tub. I would HIGHLY recommend this property to anyone looking for a place to stay in Gatlinburg.

Awesome House

We had a wonderful stay here, and would not hesitate to return. The house is beautiful, well maintained, and located in a peaceful area, far enough removed to allow privacy, but close enough to downtown Gatlinburg to be convenient. This home also provides plenty of space for several families. The hot tub was in very good condition and functioned well, and the cover was especially easy to operate. We have only three minor suggestions for improvement: 1.) provide some shock treatment for the hot tub, so that it can be easily disinfected periodically during stays of more than a couple of days; 2.) consider updating the living room furniture, particularly the couch, to something more comfortable; and 3.) consider adding a gas grill instead of the existing charcoal one. (Since there is a gas line already on the property, it would be fairly simple to connect the grill to a permanent source of fuel, avoiding the need for refillable propane tanks.) Again, this was a fantastic experience.

Great location to downtown Gatlinburg and Dollywood

We needed a place to stay for our large family and this was perfectly accommodating for that. I do feel that for the money that is spent per night that it could be updated. The furniture is in need of repairs and looks very worn. The kitchen utensils and cookware left a lot to be desired including repairing a broken shelf in one of the cabinets. The 10am checkout is unfortunate based on the fact that you can't check in until 4pm so you basically lose half a day but pay full price.

Nice cabin, great location, fun for the whole crew.

Everything was great, I loved the amount of space we had and the openness in the kitchen. Only 3 things we had issues with was (1) code I was given for the door didn’t work, easy and quick phone call took care of that (2) stove didn’t work which wasn’t really an issue for us this time (3) shower pressure could have been better but we will be back next year! Overall impressed with our stay.

Do not rent this cabin!!

The trees blocked the view of the mountains that I paid a premium price to see because the owners do not provide a discount. Several pieces of the furniture were falling apart and one of the commodes ran the whole time we stayed there. The kitchen is not adequately supplied and we found a dirty pillow inside a clean pillowcase. I do not recommend Eagles Point Lodge! Total disappointment!! Will NOT be staying here again!!!

Great place to stay!

Good visit. Lots of room and excellent layout. Couple of nuisance items - missing light bulbs in master bedroom and bath. Cookware needs to be updated. Longer term issue is the tree growth starting to block the deck views. Recommend some trimming take place to preserve the view.

The cabin it is a very nice property, well located. It has enough rooms for a family to rest, having fun and some privacy if they want it. The kitchem it is very well equiped to cook a meal as well.

Nice cabin to spend Christmas

There were 8 of us (6 adults and 2 teenagers) in the cabin for 5 days. Having 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms was great. We enjoyed the pool table and the video games. The pool table has been treated roughly by other renters but it was in good enough shape. House was clean and bedding was fine (there was a cigarette burn in our sheets but they were clean). Having a washer and dryer were nice when we needed some fresh towels. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes/pots and pans. But, there were not enough spoons and the pots (non-stick coating is very scratched up) have seen better days. Next time we would bring our own griddle or big frying pan. The gas fireplaces warm the living areas well. If you stay in the winter, we would recommend a small space heater for the bathrooms--pretty cold! Another chair or two would be nice. Neither family room has enough seating for the number of people the house can accommodate. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the cabin met our needs. It is in a nice area and close to the National Park, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.

Had to call 4 days that week to have air conditioner fixed. Saturday we had to leave until 8:00 because it was 80 degrees inside to cabin. I hope they have had it fixed before the next people come there. Our was not to pleasant.
