The view is tremendous, and there is plenty of space for a group. It is a fairly easy walk to central Queenstown, so a great location overall.

Great view, convenient location

Our family had a wonderful holiday staying here. Spacious and nice view. Walkable to town centre (10-15min down hill, 15-20 up hill), so we didn’t need to rent a car (my wife and 3 kids took uber for up hills, while I walked up…)

We absolutely loved our stay. The property was easy to find, the place was cleaned really well, and all expectations were achieved. Plenty of room for everyone and a beautiful kitchen and living room to spend our time in. The area was in a great location with the mountains being straight across from our lounge view. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay.

The view was incredible and the beds were comfortable.Unfortunately, the unit itself was in pretty mediocre condition. It does not feel well built and several things were falling apart. For example, the toilet paper holders literally fell off the walls. There were chips and dings throughout, and the space is clearly in need of a refresh and remodel. For the price, it was not worth it, and I would not stay here again.There are also large signs everywhere warning about noise and limiting the deck to no more than six people, which made it feel more like a college dorm than a relaxing vacation rental. On top of that, there is no garbage service, so you are required to remove your own trash if you have more than two bags.The view is epically beautiful, but that alone was not enough to make up for the condition of the unit and the overall experience.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. This is a well-presented multi-level apartment within a complex. While the bathrooms are original and in an older style, the rest of the home is contemporary and presented as shown in the listing photos. There are a few minor marks in the stairwell consistent with normal wear and tear; otherwise, the walls throughout the home are clean and well maintained. The balcony signage is a Body Corporate safety requirement. The balcony is rated for 6 people and the home sleeps a maximum of 6 guests, so this is simply in place for safety and compliance. Waste is allocated at 2 × 75-litre bags per 7 days, which aligns with standard residential allowances and helps ensure waste is managed responsibly in line with local requirements. Thank you for making us aware of the toilet roll holder on your last night — this was acknowledged at the time and has since been addressed. We appreciate you staying with us and for sharing your comments, and we’ll continue to take care of the home for future guests. All the best, Goodstays

The views here are incredible. The property is comfortable and spacious. This is an amazing option for a stay in Queenstown. The only downside is that access to the property requires a hike up a steep additional block from where the property appears on the map. Current (early 2024) construction on the streets below also makes the walk to town a bit longer, that is a temporary condition.

Great location

The property was wonderful in a great location. Although being in QT the walk back from the main area of town is up massive hills which wouldn’t have been ideal with our toddler and parents. There are 3 levels to the property, with a lot of stairs. Great view. Parking was difficult at times as there were multiple cars parked down the same area as the car park.

Nice House

The living area of the house is good with great views otherwise house is old and a little tired. We struggled with garage door so gave up and parked outside. The bathrooms need updating. Beds were comfortable and linen was great. Very steep walk up from village made worse by road works. I would stay in town next time.

Beautiful view, spacious apartment.

Beautiful views from a homely, well equipped & spacious apartment. Close proximity to the city of Queenstown. We were travelling with an infant so found carrying them up the hill a challenge. The workout was worth the view in the end. Property Manager was prompt to respond during our stay to help with check in and dishwasher. Provided portacot with extra cost.

Amazing Views and great customer service

We stayed here with 2 families ( 4 adults, 3 kids and 3 babies) and it was perfect for all us! Location was amazing right in the middle of town. Big hike up and down the hills with prams but was to be expected being in Queenstown! Lots of stairs in the apartment so was not a great fit for a toddler but after a few days he learnt how to use them safely. Apartment was clean and had all the needs you needed for a short or long term stay. Downfall was only having 2 bags of rubbish allowed - especially having 2 families with nappies for 7 nights but understood the reasoning behind it all. The information pack on how to get to the apartment and into the apartment was very handy and all communication and customer service was amazing Will 100% stay here again if we come back

Lovely to read your review, we are pleased to read that everyone enjoyed their time in Queenstown and that you also enjoyed the property. Kayla reading your review it seems from your comments that the total occupants that actually stayed was well over the total allowed at this property. The maximum persons this home sleeps being 6 people total. For a stay of less than a week 150 Litres of general waste (2x75L Black garbage bags) should be ample for 6 people. It is important that when booking a holiday home that you register all persons staying and not exceed the maximum guests allowable. Thanks Again Kayla Goodstays

Lovely apartment for families

We had a lovely time in this apartment in Queenstown. It was well stocked and clean. The hike up the hill from town we affectionately nicknamed bum burner hill! The only annoying thing was the roadworks happening near the apartment that make access to town on foot a bit longer as you have to go right around (not the apartment’s fault!). The photos are all spot on. I would also reiterate the other comments about rubbish. Maybe guests could be allowed to use the wheelie bins if they put them out and bring them back in to not stress about rubbish? We came internationally so obviously had to buy everything and unfortunately that means more packaging than we would have liked, that we needed to get rid of which made me a little worried. We ended up taking two bags of recycling elsewhere to dispose of in the end. Overall though a lovely apartment.

The challenge with waste management arises from the fact that the council bins are emptied weekly. If a guest fills up the bin on their last day and it so happens that their departure falls the day after the bin was emptied, the bin then remains full for the next guests, creating the risk over overflow that may also lead to a negative guest experience. To address this, the council mandates a waste management plan for short-term visitor accommodation to mitigate the impact on the community. The most practical solution is to allocate the equivalent of the weekly allowance using red-lidded council bins, providing 75-liter heavy-duty bags for guests, totaling 150 liters per week, along with recycling services. We handle the collection and disposal of these bags at the transfer station as part of the booking. Additional 75-liter bags are available for guest use with a small disposal fee.
