Tranquilly situated in an elevated northerly position with stunning Kangaroo Valley views set on over 8 acres with a variety of wildlife on the property. From the moment you enter the gates of Maple Cottage you will unwind and appreciate the country lifestyle.
Farmhouse style double Dutch doors provide a unique light filled entry. Open plan kitchen/dining and lounge area with cathedral ceilings and a pot-belly fireplace - firewood provided from May to September - for those cool winter nights. The fully equipped kitchen boasts new gas appliances, a coffee machine and everything you need to cook or bake, while the outdoor barbeque provides for relaxed dining. Twobedrooms superbly appointed to help you enjoy a peaceful retreat. The cottage has spectacular open rural views from every room and French doors leading out to a large entertaining deck as well as a small deck to soak up some tranquillity and privacy. The modern bathroom includes a large walk-in walk-out shower and a cast iron free-standing bath with lovely views across the property and beyond.
The property contains two dams, with yabby nets provided should you wish to have some fun catching them. The land is mostly cleared and includes an orchard with a variety of fruit trees as well as a gully running down the length of the property. There are many areas to explore and the elevated position provides views across to the classic Kangaroo Valley backdrop of rolling hills and mountains. Wildlife on the property includes resident wombats, kangaroos and wallabies, echidnas and even deer as well as an abundance of birdlife.
Maple Cottage is ideal for a luxurious stay providing privacy and a little country charm with quality inclusions. Yet it is only five kilometres to Kangaroo Valley village and 15 minutes to Berry. The pristine south coast beaches are also easily accessible from Maple Cottage.
While there is another house located on the same property the owners do not use it while guests are at the cottage so you will have the whole property to yourself.
Maple Cottage is not suitable for children under 12 and does not allow pets.

Weekend or Midweek 2 nights
Long weekend - Public Holidays - 3 nights
Easter - 4 nights
Christmas and New Year - 4 nights

- Please note a non-refundable Booking Fee applies to all bookings.
- A Security Bond is processed as a credit card pre-authorisation with all bookings.
- Mid week pricing applicable for Monday to Thursday nights only.
- Mid week rates do not apply to any bookings Thursday - Saturday or Saturday - Monday.
- Weekly pricing rates offered do not apply for a Saturday to Saturday stay (crossing 2 weekends).
