Located just a 15-minute walk from the historic French Quarter and only five minutes from the National WWII Museum, this thoughtfully situated property places you near the city’s most celebrated landmarks. Whether you're exploring the storied streets of New Orleans or enjoying modern comforts inside, Motorworks offers a seamless blend of convenience and character.

The Space:
Motorworks offers a unique blend of historic charm and modern comfort, just five minutes from the Central Business District. A recently renovated space featuring 20' ceilings, original wood floors, and fully restored windows that fill the space with natural light. Guests can enjoy access to a rooftop retreat with sun loungers, a summer kitchen, and outdoor dining, as well as an on-site gym for daily workouts.

There is metered street parking available along Howard Avenue for $3 per hour, Monday through Saturday and free on Sundays.

All properties are furnished to a uniform standard; however, individual units may differ slightly from those shown in the photo gallery, with variations in decor, layout, and size.

2. Age Requirement: The individual making the reservation is considered the primary guest and must be at least 21 years old.

3. Guest Limitations: Only registered guests are allowed on the property. Unauthorized guests, parties, or events will result in fines and eviction.

4. Occupancy Rules: Each room has a standard and a maximum occupancy, which may differ. Any guests beyond the standard occupancy will incur an additional fee. The website will automatically apply this fee if your booking exceeds the standard occupancy. For more details, feel free to contact us.

5. Noise Policy: Quiet hours are from 9 PM to 8 AM. Keep noise levels under 50 dBA at all times to avoid fines and possible eviction.

6. Smoking & Firearms: This is a smoke-free property. Smoking or bringing firearms will incur fines and legal action.

A $150.00 fee (plus tax) applies for the first pet, with an additional $250.00 (plus tax) for a second, totaling $400.00 (plus tax) for two pets. Fees apply regardless of size or breed. Check in was a little hairy but I had super quick response from the management team. Clean, convenient and well maintained. I would definitely recommend!

Good location if you are like us and don’t want to stay in the French Quarter. Streetcar is very close so you can keep your car parked and take the Trolly into the qtr. Parking isn’t included in the quoted price, but I thought it was fair at $40ish a day. The flat was perfect! Nice urban feel. Kids loved it. Go to cafe beignet instead of cafe du monde. Kids (13 and 18) and parents really enjoyed the Ghost Tour. Overall fun couple of day to expose the kiddos to NOLA.

Horrible Customer Service

Unfortunately we didn't have a chance to stay at the property. The company decided to cancel our reservation after we were on the road for 7 hours/within 2 hours of arrival, the day of our check-in. They said it was due to a maintenance issue in the unit; however, they would not help us find another location to stay. Even after I asked to speak to a manager, they made an excuse and referred us to VRBO. Thankfully VRBO was helpful, making sure we had a place to stay when we arrived. However, we had to move hotels because that place was booked for the next 2 nights that we were scheduled to stay. It was very stressful and inconvenient. I will never stay at a Sextant Stays property and I recommend you don't either. You can't count on them!

Great place - especially if you need a solid place to work remotely. Fairly quiet with a very comfortable bed and clean restroom. Also Wi-Fi was great - no issues doing remote work calls!

We have stayed in many vacation rentals. This was one of the best, if not the best. It was a lovely space, with absolutely everything we needed. Coffee, restaurants, and groceries within easy walking distance. Communication with management company was excellent

Management Company was easy to work with

Great stay in NOLA! Apartment was perfect for four of us. The Management Company was easy to work with and everything was very accurate. Location is second to none! My only qualm (and this doesn't affect my review at all, nor would it affect me wanting to stay here again) is that the bedrooms do not have any windows in them. That means it gets dark - REALLY dark when you turn the lights off, and doesn't brighten at all without lights. It takes some getting used to, as you have zero idea what time it is unless you look at your phone or watch. But as I insinuated, I'd definitely stay here again.
