Great location
This is our 2nd time staying.We loved it so much,we wanted to come back.I was excited to get the text that our unit was ready to check in several hours prior to 4pm but when I brought some luggage/bags up to the door,the door code did not work.I called and texted but got no answer.I just got lucky that a guy dropping off parking pass envelopes happened to walk by me and got me in with his own code.He then proceeded to call several people to try and get me help.It took over an hour and a half for maintenance to arrive.In the meantime,while waiting,I found some cleaning wipes and decided to start wiping down the counters in the kitchen.I was glad I did because they were filthy.On our 2nd to last beach day,I awoke early to find that our power was out.I was startled because that meant our baby monitor was dead because there is no battery.We notified management again and they said it was affecting several units in the building.They did update us that the power should be back by 11:30am but when it wasn't after 12:30pm we were really at an inconvenience.2 small children and a beach cart with all of our things to take to the beach...on the 6th floor...with no elevator.It was not ideal.Management ultimately offered a small refund which did make me happy that we were at least getting something back.Overall though,we really enjoy the Carolina Dunes location.The unit was nice. Master shower head,abnormally low though. Loved being beachfront,pool,outdoor bathroom,close to Gauchos, etc:)
