Nice and comfy cabin

We really enjoy our stay in this cabin! We were 4 adults and 2 kids and we had plenty of space for the six of us. The cabin was clean and well equipped. We highly recommend this place!

Nice property

This property was very clean, furniture was new, and the house was stocked with the basics you need for a great vacation.  It is a little ways outside of South Tahoe, but only an extra 6 minute drive.  We were very comfortable but were disappointed with the backyard.  The only reason why I say this is the property advertises a "big backyard" but there are not even any chairs or a table to enjoy the backyard.  The weather was great and we couldn't even eat outside.  My kids definitely ran around the backyard, but we noticed poison ivy growing on the sides and decided it may not be such a great idea.  I had talked to the property manager and they brought a few folding chairs, but we never used them because there wasn't a table and the overall set- up was not inviting.  I would go back, especially if they do something to make the backyard more user-friendly!

We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following: There is ivy growing over from the neighbor’s yard and we are keeping that maintained, but it is not poison ivy and not dangerous. Loved our stay at this property! Great location in south lake tahoe, super clean place, spacious and wonderful neighborhood. The kitchen was great to cook in, and beds were comfy!

Awesome cabin in excellent location!

We were so happy with our stay at this home. Great location near pioneer trail, beautiful homes in this neighborhood and not far from town. All the amenities you need including great washer and dryer as well as bonus room, great for having kids hang to watch movies and play foosball. It’s not fancy but kitchen is nice, beds comfortable and perfect place to stay in south shore for 8 or less guests.

Cold water and hard beds.

Cabin look super old from the outside and some of hat up to date inside. The water in the showers was cold and was hard to find that warm water. The beds felt like rocks. The heaters vents was right under the beds, which made it hard too sleep at night.

Hi Jesse, we want all of our guests to rest easy when they stay with us, and we are sorry that you experienced issues here. The homeowner would like to share the following: 1) We are sorry that you were not satisfied with the outside of the cabin, but we do accurately represent it in the listing photos. 2) We can confirm that we have plenty of hot water at the cabin and a large water heater. I was at the property before and after this stay, and there were no problems. 3) Mattress taste is subjective and we regret that ours didn't match your personal preferences. Every bed in the house has either a memory foam topper or pillow top. 4) There are no vents under any of the beds. The downstairs rooms each have 1 vent, not near the beds at all, and there are no vents upstairs at all, only electric wall heaters. Thanks for your valuable feedback!
