Excellent location - would stay again

Our rental was exactly as described and in a prime location of the island. The location had all amenities needed and more. Check in and check out was easy and the cleanliness of the room along with the space was great for our family of 5. Would stay here again if we visit Maui in future.

Excellent Location, Beautiful apartment

Highly recommend this modern, clean apartment for your stay in Maui. The apartment includes beach towels and other amenities. The location is close to great snorkeling beaches and you can see the water from the balcony. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Great vacation home.

Everything with this property was fantastic. The rental agency was great to work with and they were very accommodating. The only warning would be the bar below the unit can be very loud.

Great place, In a great area.

This property had everything we needed and more, was close to everything we needed to do. It would be nice to have AC or fans, as having the windows open at all times brings in a lot of outside noise especially the leaf blowers in the early morn😬 other than the noise, would def reccomend stayimh here, very great stay, thank you🤙

Enjoyable Maui Vacation

Overall we had a great experience. As some other reviews noted it was a bit loud as it was on a well traveled street and the windows had to be left open for air movement. The condo was cleaned and had a nice view of the ocean. Thanks for a great stay!

Great stay for family of 6!

Nice condo that ticked all the boxes of whatever we looking for. It was very close to the beach and within a short drive of many different places. McDonald's was adjacent to the building as well. We took adva of beach equipment avaialable as well which the kids loved. Would definitely stay there again if we had the opportunity to go back to Maui.

Kahana manor

Great location. Close to everything. Place is nice and clean. But bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper. The patrons of the bar below can get quite loud at night.

Nice stay

Property was very comfortable and in a nice area near some pretty beaches. About a 10 min drive to Kapalua beach. From our assigned parking space, not very accessible with a lot of luggages and need to take luggage down some steps to get to the elevator or walk around the building. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Kahana Manor

The condo we stayed in wasn’t bad. There were a couple of issues that probably should have been taken care of prior to our arrival but we got through them. It was nice to have enough room for 5 people and it was nice to have 2 bathrooms, kitchen, and living room. It was like being at home during the vacation.

Amazing stay! I’ll never hotel again.

Entering the property was easy, the information that was given to enter was easy and accurate. The place was exactly as the photos, clean, and up to date. I didn’t know that there was a washing machine but that really came in handy for my family. There was coffee and a coffee maker! Another plus!! Truly a home away from home!

Kahana manor getaway

Unit and surroundings true to its description. Place really nice and comfortable with its new remodel. Extra towels and beach gear was a cool touch. Everything is really close by. Food and supplies down below. Room was always cool with the fans and trade winds. Definitely return.

Property manager was GREAT

Our original property had plumbing issues and the property manager found us a location that was great and made it easy for us. It wasn’t ideal that we had to pack up and move but the fact that the property manager resolved it with a much better property was a huge plus. Thank you to the team that helped us out. My ratings are for the original property as Kahana Sunset where we moved was 5 stars across the board!

Maui Marathon stay

We stayed at this property for our trip to run the Maui Marathon, and the location was great for getting to the race start and to sightseeing around the island. The condo was nice, clean and met our needs. Nice kitchen facilities, which allowed us to save money by purchasing groceries and eating breakfast and lunch there. There were several restaurants nearby, which made it easy to eat out when we wanted to. The only downside to the location was that it was VERY noisy. The property across the street had people out with leaf blowers seemingly all day, and the rest of the time there was lots of traffic and retail noise (there is a retail space below, and there would be trucks beeping loudly, drunk people coming out of the pizza pub, etc.). So, if you're looking for a nice quiet, relaxing place, this is probably not the best location.

Clean, convenient, comfortable, & updated

We enjoyed our stay at Kahana Manor 506! Check-in and check-out was easy and instructions were pretty clear and straightforward. It is conveniently located near the beach, restaurants, a coffee shop, beach gear rental store, nail salon, gas station, and convenient stores. Also easily drivable to Kaanapali and Lahaina shops and eateries and beautiful beaches like Kaanapali, Napili, and Kapalua. The condo was beautifully updated and very clean. We were very pleasantly greeted with all the ceiling fans and lights on and beautiful and relaxing beach scenes and sounds on the TVs. It came furnished and equipped with just about everything you need, even beach towels, a beach chair and umbrella, deliciously scented Hawaiian toiletries, and a relaxing balcony view of the beach. It also was very reasonably priced and can comfortably sleep up to 6 people. I would definitely stay there again! Thank you so much for the wonderful stay. We really felt at home away from home at Kahana Manor 506!

Beautiful and spacious but far.

The condo was very nice and spacious and had all that you will need for your stay. The view was beautiful and there’s a beach right across the street. The balcony let in a nice island breeze as well as the kitchen window and front door in the evenings, but the apartment can get very hot at night because there is no air conditioning. The location is far from the airport, about a $70 Uber ride. It is located in the west side of Maui so any activities located near the airport side of the island would be an hour and ubers/Lyft hard to come by but there is a bus in that runs every hour to Lahaina. However it was convenient for us because we had a rental car. A car is necessary for moving across the island. There is a lot to do around kahana manor and the west side of Maui. We enjoyed our stay and the pool at the kahana manor and would definitely stay again!! Awesome place.

DISAPPOINTED AND ANNOYING STAY

Overall, the place was horrible and very annoying. The waterline broke in the master bedroom and ran for almost 2 days straight. The loud running water was terrible! Then, the wacky lighting system was another failure! You would turn on a light in one room and the light from another room would turn off. The repair man came in to fix the running water in the bedroom and commented how cheaply and poorly everything that was done to upgrade this place was done cheaply and done incorrectly!

AC plus others

In general that apartment was ok, but the first surprise was the lack of Air Conditioning. I call for help and the manager mentioned I should read the contract since this is what I signed for.🙄 The carpets were dirty from long usage and not proper steam cleaning, lights’ and fans’ remote controls were not set up properly. If you want to have lights in the bed room, the family room was switch off and viceversa. The elevator produce a strong noise, as two tennis player were moaning after hitting the ball and was difficult to sleep. The location was to close to the HWY and people’s cars were sometimes very noise. I would not rent it again at that price, and conditions of the apartment.

Perfect Stay

We travel to Maui twice a year and this year was our first staying in the condo. We usually stay in this area as we love it!! The condo has been remodeled beautifully, the design and color palette were perfect. The beds were very comfortable, and I even visited the sofa sleeper some days. There are numerous pros to this property. Pros: location, value, size, updated, ocean view, the amount of bath towels that were given for our use. The starter kit of soap and paper towels. Cons: No AC. I say this for people who are not used to the heat (we are from AZ, so this did not bother us as we live in 120-degree weather and when the windows were open and the trade winds blowing, we got chilly lol). There were no spices and I wish that past guest would have left any they bought, standing fans, a new umbrella and a couple beach chairs as there was only 1 beach chair and it was worn and warped as the umbrella. You are right above Dollies Pub (which we love) but if you are a light sleeper, you might find on a Friday and Saturday Night that there is a lot of noise. This did not bother me. Windex to clean the glass table, there was Clorox wipes, but they leave a film on the glass top. A kitchen rag to clean the counters. A functioning, black out blind in the master (they are fixing this from what I was told). A laundry basket in each room. These are all cons that I list for future guest as I know that these are things that people would complain about. For me and my family we loved the unit and will be returning. You truly can't bet the value that this condo offers with the area and location!!!

Kids 18th & 3rd birthday

We came to celebrate my kids birthdays and besides me and my now 3 year old getting stuck in the elevator for about 20 minutes it was fantastic!

Beautiful Home away from Home

I love, love, love this condo. It was very clean, beautifully remodeled. Very roomy, it had everything we need. It’s only a short walk to the beach, and there is a convenient store, sushi, Boss frogs and delicious Dollies pub on the first floor. (The food at Dollies is to die for, so is Miso Phat sushi) around the corner is a small market, coffee shop and snorkel bobs, and Maui Brewing company. The Bus stop is right out front if you’re not renting a car. I will definitely be staying here again.

Home Away From Home

Kahana Manor 506 was awesome!! Comfortable beds, plenty of towels, cooler, beach chair, and umbrella made it a great place to call home while in Maui. The condo was nice and cool (sometime chilly). We opened all the windows and enjoyed the trade winds! Close to all the best beaches (Kaanapali, Kapalua Bay, Napili Bay, and Honolua Bay). The patrons in the bar downstairs can be a little noisy in the evenings, but definitely not a deal breaker! A few pot holders and kitchen wash cloths would be nice. Highly recommend staying in the Kahana Manor 506!

The condo was beautiful and well stocked for whatever was needed! We also loved the location in Kahana, as it was centrally located — 10 minutes from downtown Lahaina and 8 minutes from the beautiful beaches of the northwest beaches and trails. The only ding is at night, customers at the pub, Dollies (located at the base of the building) could be quite loud until a bit after midnight, which isn’t all that late but was a bit annoying. Otherwise, the condo itself was truly wonderful and property mgmt were extremely responsive!
