Susan has an amazing experience for anyone looking for a relaxing vacation. Her farmhouse is full of history and personal touches that will make every day a delight. Farmland, cornfields, and wildlife abound, giving all the peace and quiet anyone could ask for with the convenience of town 10 minutes away. Highly recommend Blooming Pickets for a wonderful stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Farmhouse. Filled with the memories and items from early years on the farm, it was a step back in history and yet was very clean and relaxing for us. Beds were comfortable and quiet for sleeping. Susan was quick to respond and accommodating for our check in. Enjoyed our time in Monroe, plenty of places to eat and shop. Looking forward to coming back next year for our ladies get together!

Great place!

Super relaxing place in the country to get away! Monroe is a really cute town and it's also very close to New Glarus. It made a great base for our family's outing to beautiful Wisconsin. Susan and her family have a really wonderful place and have put tons of effort into their families farmhouse.

Loved the renovated 100+ year old farm house! Beautiful and peaceful setting. Susan has put her heart into the house she grew up in! We loved all the old photos of farm life, and the barn tour. We would definitely stay there again!

Peaceful and lovely.

A beautiful, quiet, country home with all the comforts of home. We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the lovely gardens and the well-appointed home. It was nice for all five of us to have our own bedrooms and we had everything we needed to simply enjoy our visit! Highly recommend!

Relaxing retreat

Peaceful and Perfect

Our family enjoyed the stay at Tom and Susan's farmhouse so much! The love both Tom and Susan have for this house and property show throughout with every detail. Such wonderful rich family history in this home! The beauty and peacefulness was priceless! We will definitely stay here again when we are visiting the area!

Fun farm house

We opted for a VRBO instead of a hotel for a family reunion and we are so glad we did. It was so nice to have our own space and a bedroom for everyone. The house was charming and decorated very on point for a farm house. All the flowers in the yard are beautiful. The host really did think through all the possible needs of people staying there. Having s'mores supplies on hand is genius. Overall it was a great space.

Serene country getaway

We were looking for a place to get away from it all, and this farmhouse delivered! The home and grounds have been lovingly restored and cared for, so we had a comfortable stay (even when all five of us were there), and we appreciated all the personal touches. Susan and Tom were tremendous hosts, reaching out on a regular basis both before and during the stay to make sure that everything was going well. The location was very quiet and also very convenient to nearby Monroe. I recommend this property highly and hope to return next time we are in the area!

Serene County Farm

We were looking for a quiet, relaxing weekend getaway and found it here. We explored Monroe and New Glarus and had relaxing mornings and breakfast in our place. Very clean accommodations. Clear that the owner takes pride in the property and grounds. Very accomodating and helpful. We had a good mix of fun and relaxing outside at the farm. Wouldn't hesitate to visit again. pride in the whole property and grounds.
