Great place and location

The place was great location to the resort and town of Lake Lure, ample space to share with two families and space to run and loved the deck was fully closed in with littles.

Great house

We had a great stay here. The house was large and had everything you need. Very clean and comfortable. Reached out to management because many outdoor lights were burned out near decks and hot tub and they sent someone immediately to help.

Great couples weekend

We had a great time at the cabin for a couples trip. The location was secluded but only a short drive from town. Super clean and a beautiful view. We were disappointed the fireplace on the porch was temporarily out of order but there was a fireplace in the living room and a fire pit just outside the door. Great place for a relaxing stay!

Relaxing

Great cabin near the golf course and lake. Was home base while we explored Chimney Rock, Banner Elk, Boone and surrounding parks. It was clean and well kept. Only issue we had was the board games were missing parts and pieces for game night.

Family time

House was very beautiful, but in need of a couple maintenance items. Fire pit area needs a grading/ drainage solution to make it usable after rain has passed through.

Thank you for the review Jimmy. I felt compelled to reply so that future guests are not discouraged by your comment. Potential guests will recognize this is the only comment of its kind regarding the fire pit. The weekend you were here, North Carolina experienced one of the worst storms in years resulting in chaos across Lake Lure. There was a torrential rain downfall. So this catastrophic rain even may have contributed to a one time happenstance at the fire pit that is not duplicated even with modest rain. MR. LAKE LURE® VACATION RENTALS

Great spot for a girls weekend

We loved this home and it was perfect for our group. We had everything we needed. 2 things that could have been better: we weren't able to adjust the thermostat to a comfortable temp so it was an icebox in the house or too hot because we had to turn it off. The second thing we didnt love was having to take our trash to the recycle center. Thank you for having us, we enjoyed our time and would rent here again!

Thank you Natalie for the 5 star review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay while here in the Lake Lure area. If you would of called our office we could of tried to help assist you with the thermostat. The reason of taking trash to the recycle center is due to the bears in the area at this time. We hope you can come back to the area and let us host your stay again. MR. LAKE LURE VACATION RENTALS

Wonderful Week NC

Exactly as it looks in the pictures and as described. I had a wonderful time. The house was big enough for our family to have their own private space when needed. Enjoyed the privacy of the location along with it's beautiful landscape and details. The house is gorgeous inside and out and really liked the deck areas. I would of preferred to have a King size bed in my room though. Other than that everything was perfect. I would definitely rent it again. Thank you for letting us stay there.

Nice property….needs some work

Nicely designed and well built cabin. Owners need to spend some $$$ on improvements however. 1. The master bathroom shower…..the water barely came out as a drizzle. The hot tub on the deck needs to be drained and new chemicals. Cloudy and foamy. Main fireplace needs attention to the remote. Basement fireplace out of order. Kitchen utensils need some additions/updates. In spite of all this, we had a good time.

Hi Jim: Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your stay at our cabin. We're pleased to hear that you enjoyed the design and build of our property and that you had an overall good time. We're sorry to hear that certain aspects of your stay didn't meet your expectations and appreciate you bringing them to our attention. We'll also make sure to address the issues you mentioned with the fireplaces in the cabin. Regarding the utensils, we'll review and update the inventory to ensure guests have everything they need to make their stay as comfortable as possible. Overall nice house, but couple of disappointments

We spent our annual Thanksgiving trip here. It’s a nice house and we had a great time! Kind of disappointing that we could not see the lake; I thought it was a lakefront property. There were a couple of issues but when I contacted the Mr Lake Lure office they sent someone out right away. I would also recommend all the tvs/cable box be checked at turnover, since it took a while to figure it out and had to reset them. The gas fireplace on the screened porch doesn’t work and we were told it’s never worked. The 2 inside were good though. Also, the kitchen could be better stocked. There were NO potholders. We were pleased with the initial supply of paper products, dish detergent and laundry detergent.

Wolf Lodge Hits Home

Wolf Lodge truly meets expectations. Great setup for our 10 guests. From tots to toddler to teens to adults. Lot is beautiful. Home charming. Owner and management company really helped take the stay from good to great by providing quick resolve to missing kitchen items/amenities. Wouldn’t hesitate to return again.
