Relaxing

Reviewer Comments: The house is well located on the bay where tides flood the beach during the high then role out to the horizon where you can take a long walk amongst the oyster farms and long stretches of compacted sand. Great for toddlers to explore the minnows and sea life which we had two of. The house worked well for the sunny and rainy days with the pool table, games and large format.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were so lucky to find this rental. It had everything we needed for a great week at the Cape. The house and kitchen were very clean and pictures online are accurate except the master bedroom TV has been upgraded since the pictures were taken. The house is within 5 minutes walking distance from two bay beaches so we easily could walk down. The sunsets were beautiful! Owners were very responsive and even gave restaurant recommendations. Cleaning requirements were not overly cumbersome like some have said. Simple vacuuming or sweeping to get the sand up, trash removal, and one load of laundry for bath mats and kitchen towels. House even had trash bags, laundry soap, dish detergent, hand soap, sponges, and some paper towels when we arrived. Very impressed!

Great Views!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent a week at this house on Robbins Hill Rd. and overall we were happy and we are excited to rent again next year. The view from the deck is amazing and at low tide you see forever. The deck could use a little shade, maybe a canopy. The 2 beaches are very close, easily accessible and very clean. If you do not want to walk, it's a small fee to park for the day. The large living space and kitchen on the top floor are great. Kitchen is well stocked and had pretty much everything we needed. All the bedrooms were spacious and clean, but did lack on storage for clothes. The bathrooms were also nice, but again lacked on storage, especially when you are sharing with multiple people. We also noticed the need for towel hooks in the bathrooms. Laundry in the basement was great speed queen machines are awesome and an extra fridge was helpful.Overall the house is great and we would love to stay again, but the owner should update some things to make it ever better.

August 2022 Family Retreat

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was the perfect place for us to treat our two daughters, their spouses and the new grandson to a trip to Cape Cod! Lots of space for all to spread out. The deck gave us a great view of the ocean and we could watch the "flats of Brewster" exposed each day and the sunsets were spectacular. Very short walk to the beach, which was convenient for the little one's nap time. The guys loved fishing the flats! This was our first time on the "Quiet" side of the Cape and can't wait to do it again.The house only has one Internet smart TV though, which was hard for three families to share. Could use a couple of smart TV's in the bedrooms downstairs.Note: A rule of departure is to vacuum the house prior to leaving ....( it's a big house) made us wonder what the cleaning deposit is for. We did it, but never had to in any other rental. Made the last night less relaxing.(This was also mentioned by previous reviews we've seen)

Overall very nice

The house was really great for our group! My feedback would be: -there should be hooks in the bathrooms for towels. There wasn't anywhere to hang things. -owner knows about the issue with the stove and is fixing it -the linens that were provided (blankets for the beds) really need to be replaced. They're very old and not sure if they had been washed recently. We washed them to be sure. -the wall oven really needs to be replaced also. It burns almost everything on the outside while the inside is still cold. Indicative of needing a new oven. -the TV didn't have access to Netflix or any other streaming service. Also no TVs in the queen bedrooms. - the jacuzzi tub jets do not work. - this house is listed for 12 people but the hot water heater only allows for 5 short showers before it is cold water and then have to wait an hour or so. We were able to make shower schedule changes, but if allowing for a lot of people in a house then there needs to be a bigger tank. -there were a lot of check out requests including washing dishes towels AND bath mats, washing and putting away all dishes. I think putting those things in the wash or starting the dishwasher and allowing the cleaning crew to finish the job is more reasonable. This should be a part of the cleaning fee that had been assessed with VRBO. I've never been asked to wash all the dish towels and bath mats before. We have rented a lot of houses for vacation and I do think that there needs to be some updating.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location on 281 Robbins Hill Rd is incredible. The proximity to three public beaches is a total plus. The view from the house and especially the deck is inspirational. The kitchen and living spaces are spacious and family friendly. The furniture is subpar and the kitchen needs to be re supplied with modern pots, pans and utensils. Teflon pots are a real negative. The living room furniture is uncomfortable and too low for older members of the family. I have never stayed at a rental that requires cleaning bath mats, pot holders, etc....and that requires a thorough vacuuming. What was the cleaning fee necessary for ?The bottom line is that this house is in a special place with very special views.
