Welcome to Blue Seas Villa on the beautiful Peloponnese peninsula. My family and I have owned this vacation property for over 100 years. It is set a short distance from the wine-dark seas and five-fingered mountains of Homeric legend, in a place of pre-historic civilization.

There are 2 homes on the compound: the Villa, or “The Big House,” built by my father, and “The Old House,” which was built by my grandparents in the 1910s.

My father decided to build this Villa to encourage the tradition of family reunions. It was his dream to build this legacy for his children. The Villa is filled with reflections of his character - artisanal details, art and natural history objects from his collection, beautiful woodwork, and books, throughout.

For several years, we have been hosting tourists at the Villa, thanks to help from my cousin, Voula, who has worked in hospitality for many years, to our outstanding caretaker, Ted, to my sister, Titika , and my brother, Dimitri. Both Voula and Ted own olive groves in the area, so don’t be surprised if Ted drops in with a bottle of olive oil, or house-made wine for you to taste or take home with you.

My partner, Violeta, works in the arts and paints as a hobby. When I brought her to the Peloponnese for the first time, she was so inspired by the stark beauty of Greece, that she picked up paintbrushes for the first time in over a year. After our trip, she brought up the idea of hosting creative workshops and retreats, and I shared that it had been a desire of mine for a long time. Together, we bring you Blue Seas Villa.

This elegant and exclusive home is located in the place where the where Olympian gods played, Spartans battled, and the epic poet Homer found the inspiration for his tales, The Odyssey and The Iliad. The name, "The Peloponnese," dates back to the Archaic Period, and is derived from the mythical king Pelops, who was thought to have unified the region.

The romance of country life comes alive here in the Peloponnese. Kalamata Olive groves line the mountainsides and citrus groves color the valleys. From quaint villages with immense character to grand celebrations of the olive harvest and saint’s feast days, there is no doubt you will leave a part of your heart here.

Add the award-winning beaches, the historic churches and castles, sun-filled days, warm and hospitable people, and you have the perfect place for a soul-fulfilling stay.

Blue Seas Villa is characterized by its warmth emanating from the Scandinavian pine ceilings, artisanal details like carved marble insets from the Greek Island of Tinos, marble floors excavated from a quarry in Lakonia which keep the home cool in the summer, and expansive verandas overlooking the Aegean Sea.

You will have 5,700 Sq. Ft (530 m²)of space, in the three-level home with 6 Bedrooms, 3 baths, and open, airy living spaces.

The villa also features:

3 bedrooms on the upper floor with verandas over looking the sea.
An al fresco breakfast patio.
Expansive outdoor terraces with sea and bay view, and the ruins of Ancient Asopos.
Fully-equipped kitchen for family meals, and an out door gas-grill.
A large indoor recreation space and indoor studio workspaces.
Access to a swimming pool (off property, right next door, during summer months.)

We are a mostly “unplugged” property. There is Wifi available to connect to the outside world, and cell phones work, There are no TV’s in the house. Instead, you are surrounded by inspiring music to ease the mind, and the sounds of waves lapping on the shore at night, lulling you to sleep.

When rented as a vacation home, Blue Seas Villa sleeps up to 12 adults, plus 2 children. Like most traditional European homes, the bathrooms are shared. Robes and slippers are provided(*).

Each bedroom is different and decorated in a traditional Greek style. All rooms have new mattresses and 400 thread count white sheets, an extra blanket, full climate control, ceiling fans, and direct outdoor access to views of the Aegean Sea and the surrounding mountains.
All single-bed rooms have European queen-sized mattresses. There is 1 room with 2 twin beds, and another can be modified to fit 2 more twins.

The home is ideal for a large group traveling together in elegance and exclusivity.
