Great location and wonderful owner

We had trouble finding the place at first, but we got in touch with the owner and he amended the situation and was extremely kind. The kids LOVED the pool, the place was clean and a quick drive from Whitefish Lake and downtown.

Nothing bad to say! Second time seating at Ptarmigan Village. Area always makes you feel at home! Not to mention, perfect place to stay if you are skiing. Pretty much a 2 min drive away!

Cozy cabin Condo

This Condo was a great experience. Lots of snow and beautiful view out of the large living window. 15 minute drive to whitefish. Next time we will take advantage of how close we were to the ski mountain. It was a great time.

It was an adorable place with a rustic cabin like feel. Very quaint, easy to get to with a short walk to the lake. There was also an outdoor pool near us. And a hot tub available for use too! We also saw deer almost daily around the condo. It was so beautiful!!

A gem!

Very clean, cozy and comfortable. Property manager immediately responded by phone when lock code didn't work. My son loved the hot tub after long day snowboarding and I was happy to return to enjoy warm fireplace while looking out at snow covered pines from the window. Would definitely return if out that way in the future.

We had a lovely time, location was ideal, clean and comfortable. We will keep this place in mind when we return to the Whitefish area. Though the ad says max 5, I would say the max is 2 adults + 1 kid.

Whitefish Airy Resort Condo Sept 2021

Overall we had a good time in the small Condo (2 adults + 2 kids). However, there were a few items that made it difficult with our kids (ages 2 & 5). The railing balusters in the upstairs bedroom are wide enough for small children to fit through (10-11 inches) and the main kitchen table has a glass top. A lot of the other tables in the condo have glass tops as well. And, as stated in other reviews the balcony is more like a shared communal space that is 3 ft by 3 ft. We were last ones in this condo before a new owner took over so perhaps these items may go away for future families with small children.

Cozy & quite homebase for Glacier & Whitefish

Very short drive from downtown Whitefish, served as a great place to retreat to after the days activities either in Glacier or in the Whitefish area. Property was clean, functional, and property manager was friendly, everything was perfect. Finding the place the first time was easy after reading the directions provided by the host. If you're following Google maps and you find yourself on a gravel road, you are not going in the right direction.

Leaky Roof

I wanted to love this place, but the roof was being replaced while we stayed here, which resulted in a leaky roof. When we arrived, there was a puddle of water on the bed! This leak kept us awake for the entire night as we were trying to put garbage cans and buckets to try and catch the water. The owner did come by to move the bed out of the way of the leak, but no other compensation was made. When we asked for monetary compensation, the manager said, "I am not in charge of the financial part of things." The property probably shouldn't be booked when the roof is being replaced.

Great place, convenient location

I stayed here for a week with my 2 kids ages 9 and 11. The unit is not huge, but comfortable for the 3 of us. Nice furniture, good kitchen. The pool for the complex is close but not so close you hear it all day. The complex is in between downtown Whitefish and the ski resort, about 5 minutes to the resort, 10 minutes to downtown, 45 minutes to Glacier. Was convenient for everything we wanted to do. Management company was great and super responsive. They were doing roof repairs when we were there and we had a small leak through one of the skylights. We got an immediate response to our texts and they were out the next morning. If you are reading this review, the work will be done by the time you get here but the quality of the Management will likely be the same. We had a great experience overall.

Great place off the beaten path

Awesome little condo! We loved being away from it but still a short drive from everything. Pools were awesome and had them to ourselves. Having private beach access was one our favorite days of our trip! Cozy beds and responsive host. 5 stars all the way!

The condo and location were beautiful. It is located close to all of the attractions that we wanted to go to. The pool is also at the bottom of the stairs which was very nice. My only concerns were: 1)The deck attached to this condo was shared with the condo next-door. We did not know the people next-door so we were unable to use the deck because we weren’t sure if they were going to use it. I feel that should’ve been put in the description of the condo. The neighbors could also see through the sheer curtains on the sliding door. I feel this could be a safety concern. 2) It was very hot during our stay and there was no air conditioning. It would’ve been nice to have a few more fans and if we would have been able to leave the sliding door to the patio open. Overall it was a very nice trip and the condo was roomy enough for the three of us. Whenever we had a concern we were able to contact someone and they replied very quickly.

I'm sorry to hear you felt like you couldn't use it! 2) I will be adding more fans immediately. We had record-breaking heat in Montana during your stay, so I'm sure it got uncomfortably warm inside as well. 3) I am in the process of adding darker drapes for the sliding door, which should also help with keeping things cooler! The condo was beautiful. The location to the pool and area attractions was wonderful. My main concern was the deck that we had to share with the neighbors who we did not know. It would’ve been better to have our own separate deck. Also we could’ve used more towels and more fans as there was no air conditioning and it was extremely hot in Montana when we were there.
