Storey Lake

We had a wonderful visit at this rental property. Everything was clean and orderly. We had everything we needed and enjoyed our stay!

Weekend Stay

After a long travel day from Maine my husband and son got to the property around 8pm. We were glad this property was in a gated community with security. Unfortunately when they got to the gate there was no information about their stay and were turned away. I'm not blaming security, they did what they were supposed to. We had difficulty getting in contact with the property manager. They finally did get into the property but I'm not pleased with how the check in process went. The rest of the stay had no issues.

Clean 2 br apartment but lacks some usual amenities.

Checking in all done on line, qr code for gated entrance all no issues. Apartment was very clean and even had music playing when we walked in. Where it lacked is master bed was low and uncomfortable. One body towel per person provided was something we felt was inadequate & a paper hanging saying we would be charged if there was a stain on the towel was dramatic. There was a constant beep every few minutes coming from the maintenance room by the elevator our entire stay. That didn't effect anything in our room but was just an annoying quiet beep. There are no dressers or anyplace to put your suitcase in the rooms such as a luggage stand. You have to put your suitcase on the floor. Listing said there was an air hockey table which was not there. You could hear the people walking above us. The night before we were scheduled to leave, we got 3 different texts from 2 different phone numbers. The first 2 said how to check out, one at 9 02am, & the second text was at 202pm saying how to check out again, same number but different messages. The third text the same day was at 5pm and said Reply with the word check out when you leave.Then the very next morning another message saying the same to reply with check out when you leave. As we were packing up the car at 930 the cleaning lady was standing outside our door with her supplies waiting for us to leave. We texted at 0941 check out.The pool, lazy river, volleyball courts and staff at the club house were all great!

We’re sorry the bed didn’t meet your preferences — comfort is subjective, and while some guests may not prefer it, others have found it comfortable. Towels are provided according to the maximum occupancy, as clearly stated in the rental agreement. This is standard for vacation rentals and differs from hotel service. The towel notice is necessary to inform guests of potential charges for damage, as not everyone is aware. Regarding storage, the photos and agreement accurately reflect what’s included. There are no luggage stands or dressers shown, so expectations should align with what is provided. We must firmly address the false claims about our check-out communication. Our system consistently states a 10:00 AM check-out, and we have no record of any messages suggesting otherwise. Misstating these details is misleading and harmful to our business. We encourage all guests to read messages carefully and reach out if anything is unclear. We’re glad you enjoyed the community amenities like the pool and lazy river. Property Manager Not Available

The incorrect door code was provided to us and we couldn’t even get a hold of anyone to help us. We spent 1 hour 14 minutes on hold, sent messages through their message system, sent an email to the property manager, sent an email through VRBO, contacted security, went to the clubhouse and literally no one helped us or responded. The property didn’t even respond for roughly 16 hours and it wasn’t until we contacted them again the next afternoon that they gave us the right door code. We paid for 4 nights and didn’t even get to stay there the first night because of not being able to access the condo because of the incorrect door code. The nail in the coffin, they wouldn’t even refund us for the first night even though we couldn’t get in and attempted to make contact with them every way possible. We had other people in our party that also rented a condo with a pool through the same property. Their pool was closed for the first 2 days of their stay and it was really dirty. The property wouldn’t refund any money to them either.

June 21 week

Great condo, air hockey table didn’t work too well. Would have been nice to have two extra rolls of toilet paper and extra trash bags. I may have missed the communication that these items needed to be brought. Otherwise, very nice!!!

Nice place, just some minor issues

When I booked my trip it asked what time I will be checking in. I put 11am and received a confirmation email for 11am. When I arrived, I checked in and was not given the door code because they said that checkin was at 4. I did however get the code at around 12:30 after complaining and waiting outside the door for over an hour. If 4:00 is the standard checkin time, then there should be clear instructions and not allow me to pick my arrival time. The master shower did not get hot and I had to shower in the guest shower. Be sure to buy toilet paper because they only supply 1 roll in each bathroom for no matter how long your stay is. The beds were very comfortable and the pillows were nice. The air hockey table was fun, but the score board doesn’t work. I would also recommend some larger pans to cook with. The pool and hot tub areas were nice and the kids enjoyed their time. The seating area was quiet and overlooked the pond. I really don’t think I’d stay here again, but we enjoyed time with the family and the place wasn’t bad. It was very clean.

Comfortable Stay at Storey Lake

The condo was neat and clean upon my arrival. I loved the location and the amenities. The only thing in need of improvement was the cleanliness of the parking lot. I will likely book this location again in the future!
