Eric was very warm in welcoming our family. The Northeast House accommodated all of us with warm & cozy bedrooms and updated ensuite bathrooms on the second and third floors. We prepared all of our own meals in the large, well-stocked kitchen and appreciated the amazing 4 minute commercial dishwasher. The living room and dining room tables and chairs were easily arranged to suit our group. The pool table was a hit with all ages.

Thanks for another fabulous weekend in beautiful Vermont!! We keep coming back to this fantastic rental. We had a family reunion/birthday party and loved the comfortable clean accommodations and so many great bathrooms. The kitchen is outstanding and had everything and more than we could wish for to make many huge meals. The industrial dishwasher is always a crowd pleaser. We made great use of the bar and pool room as well as the ample dining space and the comfortable TV area. The porches and seating areas make fun gathering spots and the huge yard with tons of seating let us enjoy a great afternoon of lawn games. We were able to do some hiking, visited the nice craft fair and loved the pristine new pickle ball court right across the street. The host is always friendly and so helpful. Overall can’t say enough good things about this superb rental.

Fantastic! Great VT get away. My wife and I, our four kids and their spouses and our 6 grandkids (10 adults and 6 kids) had more than enough room. We loved the Inn - it was like taking a step back to yesteryear. Everything was very clean and stocked with more than we could possibly need. The kitchen is amazing. It is a fully functioning commercial kitchen with 2 high end appliances of every kind.Eric is a very gracious host. He even saw that our dog had a “cone of shame” on to keep her from licking her sore paw, and bought us a cushion ring that was way more comfortable for her.There was a ton of games for adults and kids. The pool table was the best I’ve played on since playing on the one I had growing up - it was great.Our grandkids loved it when I served them ice cream at the bar. The bar was also a nice place for the adults to do jigsaw puzzles without the little ones getting into them.The local parks exceeded our expectations. The one across the street has a brand new pickleball / basketball court with all the supplies. Silver Lake State Park is beautiful and our 5 year old granddaughter caught her first bass there. Billings Farm was also a big hit. Eric knows all the local places and activities.Highly recommend this Inn!

An excellent stay

We stayed here with a large group and we were immensely happy. With a bathroom for almost every room, we had the most comfortable experience staying here. The host was extremely accommodating and responsive - he set chairs out for us around a campfire he lit for us as well! The rooms were very clean and had all the right elements for a perfect Vermont stay - beautiful views, extra toiletries, cottage core decor, comfy beds, updated bathrooms, and even cute little maple syrup door stoppers. The kitchen and dining table were huge and extraordinarily well stocked, which made dining that much more enjoyable. We loved our time here and can’t wait to come back!

This house was amazing! House was clean and accurately described. Lots of parking. Loved the pool table and bar area. Many games to play in the evening. The kitchen was a dream for 20 people to move around and function in without being on top of each other. The dishwasher was awesome...fast and efficient! I loved the fact that all bedrooms except the room with the 3 twins room had their own bathrooms and had been remodeled. The twins room was on the 2nd floor which worked out nicely. Each bedroom had their own air conditioner which was a plus. Communication was fabulous! We forgot something at the house after we left and Eric was quick to it trying to help us out and mail it. There were some general supplies in the kitchen and pantry, which was great. We left some there also for the next party. I would definitely rent this house again for a big family gathering. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Family Reunion

This property was perfect for our family reunion. We all gathered from various parts of New England and convened for the weekend. The kitchen was fantastic for our large group. The bedrooms and bathrooms were better than advertised in the pictures. The bar and pool table area were really fun for our group. The communal dining area was spacious and suited our large group well. Would definitely come back and highly recommend this property for large groups looking to all be together in a special place. Eric was extremely responsive!

Fantastic house for a large group!

This property was amazing! It had everything we could have possibly needed and then some. It was the perfect setting for 6 families with children ranging in age from 11 to 15. From the pool table, to the large TV with Netflix surrounded by couches and chairs, to the huge dining table that seated at least 15, to the vast selection of board games, the kids barely looked at their phones. This gave the adults plenty of time to hang out around the bar area and relax. Each room was supplied with bath, hand and face towels, extra pillows and blankets and mini toiletries. Each bedroom having their own bathroom was so helpful in getting up and out to ski in the early morning. We were so impressed with the size of the kitchen, 2 refrigerators, an extra freezer, 2 sinks, 2 ovens and the giant walk in pantry. It made the process of preparing meals for the this large group go very smoothly. Killington’s main base lodge was a quick and easy 15-20 minute drive from the house. Eric, the owner of the property was even so considerate as to drop off some fresh eggs for us and clean off some of the cars! It was such a wonderful stay and we had so much fun! We are definitely planning to come again next year.

Fun Experience

I stayed at the Inn with my family and group of friends for a New Years trip. It was such a fun and unique experience to have a whole inn to yourself. There was plenty of space for our whole group and we enjoyed playing pool and board games in the large dining room. The furnishings are older but part of the charm. The Inn was very well stocked for large groups. They had everything we needed and even included fresh local eggs upon our arrival. The location was great only about 15 minutes to Killington and there are stores within walking distance and restaurants close by. We had a wonderful time and would recommend for anyone looking for a unique experience with a large group.

Charming Pittsfield, VT Inn

We booked the inn as a place for many couples to come together. It worked out great. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen is fully stocked, has large refrigerator capacity and a restaurant style dishwasher (fast!!). The "hang out area" is a bar, pool table, family room and large dining area with room for 25+ at the tables. The bedrooms and bathrooms are "antique" looking. There are 2 updated bathrooms & 1 updated bedroom. They are comfortable and quiet. It took us a little while to figure out the heat - really because we didn't read the instructions that were left for us. Once we did, everyone had the right amount of warmth in each bedroom. Eric was very easy to get in contact with. Overall this was a charming Pittsfield, VT Inn.

Cousin Reunion in VT

We had a wonderful time at the Private Killington Area Inn in Pittsfield VT. We were celebrating a cousin’s family reunion at this Inn which provide each guess/couple with a private air conditioned room and bathroom. These rooms were very clean and updated. We did most of the meals at the Inn which had a very large and well equip kitchen. And a special thanks to our host Eric who made our stay great. Thanks for setting up the fire pit with chairs each night. It was a very memorable stay.

Perfect place for a group!

Eric's place was perfect for our large group gathering. Lots of bathrooms, a table that fit 16, a pool table, full bar, and large kitchen with commercial dishwasher. Everything was clean, easy to use, and well-maintained. Eric even had a fire pit going and chairs set up for all of us when we returned from dinner one evening. Such a fun surprise! The location is great-- close to Silver Lake State Park, hiking, and the Clear River Tavern. Loved this place and would highly recommend!

Fun Family Reunion

Having the inn all to ourselves was a huge plus. Lots of space to congregate downstairs (family room, large dining table), upstairs and downstairs porches and a huge yard with a fire pit. The kitchen was great for cooking for a large group. Eric was the perfect host and made sure we were comfortable. Great communication before the visit too! The Original General Store is a few doors down and offers great dine-in and take-out food. We catered from them several nights and the food was excellent.

Long weekend with Family - wedding at Riverside Farm

The Northeast House was perfect to accommodate our large extended family of siblings, nieces, nephews, and significant others! Everyone was happy with the bedrooms - beds were comfortable. The commercial kitchen was great for making meals and holding lots of ice, etc. And the special treat was fresh eggs from the chickens that live in the backyard. Easy to communicate with Brittany and Eric before and easy instructions on wifi, etc written down at arrival. Perfect for large groups to stay in the Pittfield area!

Great house, great host!

I've been renting through VRBO (previously HomeAway) for years for a yearly retreat I host with my friends. This house fit us all without any problems. Also, Eric was amazing with staying in contact with us before and during our stay. He reached out a few times ahead of our stay to let us know of local events that had just popped up during the time frame we'd be staying, he checked in to make sure everything was going well, and was incredibly quick to respond to any questions I had. The rooms were as advertised, clean, and there were even little soaps, shampoos, conditioners, razors, etc in case you forgot your own. I've never seen this level of convenience in any property I've rented before. The kitchen was fantastic, well stocked with pans, utensils, etc. We were all very pleased with out stay. Also, if you get the chance to meet Eric's dog, Cooper, he's adorable!

Eric, a custom builder who owns and operates Vision Builders, purchased this Inn in 2020, and with help from his kids, family, and friends, has decided to list it for rent to groups. Eric came to Vermont in 1985 and after some time in Boston, Japan, and New Jersey, he decided the Green Mountain State would be home and he has happily been living here enjoying all the state has to offer in outdoor activities. If he is not building a house or in the middle of a renovation you can find him skiing on the mountain, kayaking down the river, or enjoying time on his boat in Lake Rescue. Cooper, his yellow lab, is always by his side and you are sure to meet him if you encounter Eric!

When you communicate with us on HomeAway/VRBO you will be speaking with Eric's daughter, Brittany, she is much better on the computer than he is :)

Eric grew up in Sea Girt, NJ in his family's home, The Ridgewood House, a beachfront bed and breakfast catering to summer guests. When Eric viewed this property (formerly known as The Casa Bella Inn & Restaurant), it had the same comfortable feeling that the Ridgewood house had! Not only that, but as a builder he saw all the potential in this property and he is continuously working to improve it.

You are renting an entire inn that is not open to the public! There is no staff present but Eric is readily available for any needs. He resides in the back apartment (separate entrance from the main house where you will stay).

Each bedroom has it's own private bathroom! That alone makes it perfect for groups.

A commercial kitchen- perfect for cooking a large meal or hiring a private chef to come in for a night or two to make an excellent meal. There is a gigantic refrigerator, a chest freezer, a panty (the former walk-in cooler), two gas ranges, two coffee makers, etc.

A bar- assign a friend bartending duties for the weekend and enjoy your own private bar

Plenty of space for everyone to be together and have their privacy when they want it

Close to Killington, on the VAST trails, and close to all the outdoor activities Vermont has to offer!

The perfect place if you like skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, running, hiking, the outdoors, the indoors, leaf peeping, tubing down rivers, the list is endless!
