Quiet getaway

This was a nice cabin that was away from the hustle and bussle of Wimberley and Dripping Springs. The stars are amazing ou there! It wasnt to far out though. You could get to either downton within about 25 min. The house was clean and we appreciated that every room had a least queen bed.be

Nice and Peaceful Stay

Very nice and quiet. Jacuzzi was a plus under the night sky. Top floor mattress worn, lumpy, and very uncomfortable. Master was very roomy and bed was amazing. It was a great place for our family Thanksgiving. Gated back yard was a plus for the dogs to run around and play. Wood for fireplace would have been a nice. Besides the old top floor worn out mattress it was enjoyable and relaxing.

Nice place to stay, quiet and relaxing

Very nice place to rent, on top of a hill with views for miles! Lots of room and hot tub is a plus. Decorations could use a dusting but overall we had a great time! Would recommend staying here.

Excellent getaway

Had an excellent stay. Cabin is very cozy and the view from the back porch is beautiful. A very quite neighborhood with deer roaming in the morning and evening. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

Wonderful Stay at Double-D Cabin!

My group (5 adults + 1 dog) absolutely loved our stay at the cabin! It's location is perfect. Isolated, but close to Wimberley and accessible via paved roads. My dog loved the big fenced-in yard, and my friends loved the hot tub! The bedrooms were comfy and check-in/out were a breeze. I highly recommend staying here and cannot wait to return!

Nice, off-the-beaten-path location, beautiful scenery. The house was very comfortable. Property manager communicated about steps to take with cold weather pending, which made me feel better about securing the property. We’d go back.

Great Hill Country getaway

Perfect getaway near Jacobs Well, Cypress Falls, and all that Wimberley has to offer. The internet is pretty spotty but that was fine to get the family off their devices. Hot tub, House and the property were great and just what we needed. The rum distillery just down the road was great as well. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect Getaway

Love this place. Remote setting away from the crowds but 20 minutes or so from groceries and a few wineries, a brewery and a distillery. Beautiful view plus the cabin has a large, well designed porch to enjoy it from. A great hot tub too! Roomy and comfortable with three bedrooms. The master has a temporpedic mattress, which sleeps great too.

Perfect family place for those who enjoy quiet and privacy

I absolutely loved this cabin and the view! I woke up every morning with a cup of coffee, sitting on the covered porch, watching birds while looking at the view. It was peaceful and private, exactly what this Greater Houston area family looks for when booking Hill Country properties.My dogs and husband were supposed to join my daughter and I here, but unfortunately my husband fell and broke his wrist the night before we were scheduled to arrive, so my husband decided to stay home with our dogs, but I did walk the perimeter and the rear yard is fully and securely fenced. There are two gates, one leading to the driveway from the yard that is permanently latched, and the other leading onto the front porch that latches with a standard gate latch. Small dogs would be able to squeeze under the gate leading out to the driveway if they really wanted to, but most dogs would not be able to get out. My daughter and I felt safe there. It was cozy and had everything we needed. It was okay clean, meaning I could tell it had been cleaned at one point, but not recently. I wiped the dining table down after we ate dinner and there was a layer of dust that I wiped off. There were also sandburs on both comforters of the downstair beds. My daughter also found an earring in the queen bed. I saw other reviews mention bugs, but we didn't see a single bug in or out of the house.Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to book this cabin again in the future. I nice escape

This was a great escape to get away from it all. The property is well fenced and we were able to let our beagles run the yard. They are runners and the fence was more than enough for peace of mind. When we had questions, April answered immediately, she was quick and helpful. We would stay here again!

Hilltop Delight

Ours was a small group of older adults, looking to retreat from the city for conversation and quiet, and this property suited us perfectly. The breezy hilltop porch was welcoming and comfortably appointed, with lovely views in two directions. The cabin had three comfortable bedrooms, and a firm mattress on the sofa bed, as well as a well-appointed kitchen, with plenty of cooking utensils. We thoroughly enjoyed it!

Excellent for quiet getaway

Far enough away to feel utterly private, but close enough to Wimberley to be convenient. We were delighted to be able to come as a whole family incl. the dog The WiFi is enough for simple email. We wanted a getaway, so it was good for us, but could be difficult if someone needed to work there. We will gladly return someday

View and location was great! Hot tub clean and warm! Did not come with firewood and wasn’t as clean as I expected it to be. A bit outdated but was fine for our short family get away. Not enough signal for TV to work. Enjoyed the available board games.

Beautiful view in the countryside

The view was beautiful and it is an older house which was fine with us. The upstairs shower did not have a shower head so we just had one shower between 2 adults and 2 teenagers. We enjoyed the hot tub, grill and awesome back porch! HEB is about 20 minutes away. Fun get away!

Cozy hot tub with secluded vista!

Sit in nice clean hot tub and enjoy secluded countryside vista. Very dog friendly with fenced yard. 3 full sized bedrooms with plenty of storage. 1 small bath. Full kitchen (no dishwasher or garbage disposal) with most all the stuff you need to make meals. Nice den with TV for watching the game. We thought the place was generally neat and tidy. Plenty of easy parking right at door. Off the beaten bath. At least 20 minutes to anywhere, just the way we like it.
