Diese umgebaute HĂŒtte auf dem Gehöft befindet sich im Ferry Basin im Flathead Indianerreservat. Genießen Sie einen privaten Kurzurlaub auf einer privaten, 4 Hektar großen Rinderfarm. Die HĂŒtte verfĂŒgt ĂŒber 2 Schlafzimmer sowie ein Loft mit einem Bett und einem Sichtschutzvorhang. Es hat auch ein separates GĂ€stezimmer. Die Kabine hat KEIN Festnetz und es gibt einen Mobilfunkdienst, obwohl das Wetter dies manchmal einschrĂ€nken kann. Es gibt eine voll ausgestattete KĂŒche, einen großen Fernseher und einen DVD-Player. Es gibt einen Korral, den die GĂ€ste benutzen können, wenn sie ihre eigenen Pferde mitbringen möchten. Auf dieser Ranch leben SchwarzbĂ€ren, Maultierhirsche und etwa 600 Elche. Die GĂ€ste haben Zugang zur Erkundung der gesamten Ranch und genießen einen atemberaubenden Blick auf die Tierwelt in ihrer natĂŒrlichen Umgebung sowie auf einige alte Gehöftsstandorte. Dies ist zwar keine "Kumpelranch", aber eine funktionierende Ranch, auf der alles auf dem PferderĂŒcken erledigt wird. Die Familie wĂŒrde sich freuen, wenn Sie die verschiedenen AktivitĂ€ten beobachten wĂŒrden, die tĂ€glich stattfinden. Branding-Saison, Sammeln und Sortieren sind besonders gute Möglichkeiten fĂŒr die Fotografie. Diese "off the grid" FerienhĂŒtte ist ein Traumziel fĂŒr Vogelbeobachter und Fotografen. Hot Springs Cabin

The cabin accomadations were good for our family. We loved the views out every window. The online accuracy of this site stated the cabin was 9 miles from the area of Perma where we were attending a wedding. It was actually a 75 minute drive. The hosts were very friendly and helpful.

The only ranch you need to see.

Property was great it had all we needed and more: grill, yard games, washer/dryer all on top of unreal views in every direction. The property is amazing, would like to come back and ditch the kids to explore the ranch more. Tammy and Scott and their abdoable cowboy son, Nick, were awesome hosts. We drove with two kids little kids from Wisconsin and it was worth it, that is saying something!

Tammy and Scott ( and son Jack). Were so welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed being away from it all! This cabin is rustic but has everything you need. Bed and bath linens were quality. We used the BBQ most nights for cooking. beautiful starry nights. Milky Way planets and we were there for DuperMoon with front row seats. We would highly recommend this property to those wanting an off the grid experience and peace and quiet

Awesome Cabin with Wildlife Galore!

We had a wonderful time staying here and would definitely recommend this property. Very clean and comfortable cabin, very private and peaceful with wildlife viewing everyday. We saw two different Bear mama's with cubs, Elk and Deer all from our back patio. Beds were comfortable and kitchen stocked with all the necessities. Verizon worked well for a hotspot, but with the view and the acreage to explore who needs internet. My husband and I would love to come back when the weather is cooler to hunt for upland game birds with our dogs and sip hot coco by the fire. Thank you Scott and Tammy.

There are so many things one can say about this property. If you are truly looking to get away from it all this is the right place. A long gravel road, pretty much the only way to get to the property leads to an amazing visual as you sit on the front patio. Mid way up the valley you find Ike's cabin. That view from the patio gives you a direct look at the road and everything that surrounds you. You're on a working cattle ranch in Montana. That's a dream right there. Scott and Tammy are the hosts you wish every place would have. Warm, welcoming and full of information on the area. I was lucky enough to be invited in for a wonderful conversion with them. If you dreamed of being a cowboy or helping out on the ranch, this is your place. Horses, cows, dogs, tractors, a little dust. It's all right here.The cabin is outfitted with all the modern amenities. Easily one of the best showers in any of my vacations. The beds are comfortable, and the linens are clean. You can stay connected to the world with the available internet, and why not watch a western on the flat screen. Better yet, head out and look at the stars at night. Close your mouth, you are staring in amazement. Depending upon the time of your visit, the wildlife will be abundant. I was greeted by a black bear one morning. We didn't really talk, more nodded at one another as I went back inside for a camera. I had a great stay at the ranch. Made even better by the hosts. I will be back in 2026. Thank you!

Phenomenal!

My husband and I have two sons ( 22 and 17). We have been traveling out west for the past eight years with friends of ours that have two sons as well. We have traveled all over the out west. We have also rented countless of homes in all the places we visited. This cabin is by far the best place we have ever stayed. Tammy (host) and her family were so welcoming and nice to talk to. The condition of the cabin was fantastic and the views on the property were outstanding. I can’t say enough about this hidden gem. We will absolutely be returning to this beautiful place.

Cabin on the Ranch

I could write a whole paper on how wonderful this place was. This place is not for people looking for convenience. It is 20 miles off of the main road, unpaved road is about 7+ miles. Once you get there, there is an abundance of wildlife to view and of course cows to greet you due to it being on a cattle ranch. The cabin was great, with new amenities and some old. So don't expect brand new, but everything worked and gave it a certain charm. The peace and quiet and the hospitality from Tammy and everyone else on the ranch and nearby area was great. I seriously cannot say enough words to tell you how life changing this experience was for me and my husband.

Best trip ever!

I cannot give this place enough 5 stars. It is truly a hidden gem situated on a working cattle ranch with the BEST hosts. I stayed for a month and was so sad to leave. There are plenty of things to do in the area, Glacier National Park, Bison Range, river visits, museums, rodeos, you name it. I was truly overwhelmed with how beautiful the scenery was, the pictures don’t do it justice. I saw so much wildlife (bears, elk, deer, a moose!) and enjoyed trips around the ranch checking out how the cattle roam. I have traveled and stayed a lot of places, and this is by far my best trip yet. The cabin has so much character and was recently remodeled while still keeping the charm of being a cabin. The cherry on top is that Scott and Tammy are truly the best hosts and will go above and beyond. I am already planning a trip back and feel like I’ve discovered gold in stumbling upon this place. The drive to town is beautiful and well worth the remote feel of the ranch. :)

Peaceful, Relaxing, Beautiful Cabin

You can't beat the views at this cabin! The sunrise and sunset are incredible! Yes, it is remote, but that is one of the things we loved about it. The cabin has everything you need to make your stay comfortable-kitchen is stocked, beds are comfortable, the AC in the loft and the many fans made the temperature in the cabin comfortable even on a hot day. Tammy was great with communication from the start of the booking to our drive home. She gave us a tour of their beautiful ranch and we were able to meet some of the animals as well! Tammy also gave us some hiking recommendations in the area. The cabin is about 2.5 hours to the West Entrance of Glacier National Park and about 40 minutes to Flathead Lake. I love bird watching and saw many species of birds that I had not seen before. We loved sitting outside and enjoying the peace and quiet! Our stay at the cabin was amazing and we were sad to leave!

40th Anniversary

Tammy & Scott were absolutely amazing! They took us under wing and treated us as if we were family! Their generosity was most appreciated! No words could describe the amount of gratitude we have for their hospitality! They were there for us from the moment we booked the trip and all throughout our stay. They are truly amazing! The cabin: We were in a state of awe and wonder from the moment we arrived! The views from the cabin were breathtaking!! Being so secluded gave us the opportunity to soak in every element of nature surrounding us. We woke up to beautiful sunrises to the sounds of elk bugling around us. A mama bear with her cubs visited the berry bushes near the cabin on a daily basis. We grew very fond of them. The white tail & mule deer were in abundance as well. We used the cabin as home base and made day trips to the nearby attractions. It was so hard to leave this piece of paradise! We hope to return soon and bring our grandchildren so they can experience the grandeur of WT Ranch. It is a treasure untouched by time! The cabin is rare gem that is nestled quietly in the mountains with nothing but glorious unobstructed views and wildlife.

Rural Get Away

We had four generations of the family (7 adults, two kids, one infant, and one of the family dogs) staying here for 2-3 nights to attend a family wedding in St. Ignatius. It is a bit of a hoof to get out there but the sunrise and evening moonrise over the Mission Mountains was well worth it.

Scott and I, along with our 4 children, have managed the history rich Whiskey Trail Ranch for 22 years. We both grew up just 40 miles from the ranch on opposite valleys. Scott can be found on horseback checking on the cattle, the fence lines, and the water just about any day of the week. And when the season calls for it, he is on the property in Round Butte cutting and bailing hay. We now have 3 adult children making their way in the world on one high school boy left at home. The family all pitches in to help Scott with the day to day chores of the ranch and we take turns putting in days in the hay field. We are a 4-H and FFA family and our son has animals and chores of his own to be responsible for. We spend as much time as we can getting Scott and the kids to rodeo's. Scott and the boys have plenty of success team roping and calf roping. We also love to run off to the river during the hot Montana summer! We have rented the cabin through VRBO for over 4 years and already have created some wonderful friendships! We love sharing the ranch with visitors and learn to appreciate it's beauty and solitude over and over again with each new guest. Please feel free to ask us any questions and visit about the beef industry and the ranch, it is full of history and adventure!

This is the get-a-way for your family you have been needing! You can hike, relax, come to the main house and visit the animals and maybe watch some roping practice. We encourage our guests to come and observe the ranch work when the opportunity arises. Fall and Spring are the best times to come out for ranch activity, and wildlife viewing. So far, we are still off the grid enough that cell phone and data are limited. If you are looking to get your family connected with each other again, there is not a better place to do it!

The cabin at Whiskey Trail Ranch is just 20 miles/30 min from the "healing waters" in the town of Hot Springs, named after the natural hot mineral water that flows through the area. I wish we had the water out at the ranch, but unfortunately we do not. We do offer a peacefulness and beauty that can heal your soul!
