Old Glory Luxury 2+ Bedroom Cabin Located in the HEART OF HOCHATOWN! This comfortable and cozy cabin is perfect for getting away from the everyday city life to relax and escape with nature! You will want for nothing while staying at Old Glory, the owners have though of EVERYTHING! Providing plenty of entertainment, outdoor seating, and a bubbling hot tub, Old Glory is sure to provide Relaxation and LOTS of FUN!

Old Glory is Fully Equipped and Fully Loaded with Everything you could Need! 4 Flat Screen TVs with DVD players, board games, puzzles, Free WIFI, binoculars, satellite TV, books, magazines, two patio cooking stations, a chess/checkers station, a stocked fly typing station, a pool table, and a hot tub with its own bar that’s fully equipped with everything but your favorite beverages. There’s more too! The Old Glory Motto “We strive to give you more than you expect!”

Don't Forget the Outdoors! We have a washer game, horseshoes, swing set and playground area, water cannons, bean bag toss, fire pit, and tether ball. There is something for all ages.

Additionally, we supply pet supplies (bed, toys, dishes, etc.) as well as hot tub robes for our guests to use.
Old Glory includes two king size bedrooms with bath downstairs and a queen bed upstairs in the loft area with a full size bath. There is a love seat and a sofa in the living area. The sofa has side by side recliners built in.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all the conveniences including dishwasher, microwave, blender, coffee maker, toaster, electric range, and refrigerator with ice maker, a malt maker and so much more. You have more then you need when cooking Dinner for the family While staying at Old Glory!

Pet Friendly - $50.00 Pet Fee Per Pet, Maximum of 2 Small/Medium Dogs 25 Pounds or Smaller. Larger Dogs must be approved by the Creative Escapes Office and are Subject to a Large Dog Pet Fee.

Great cozy family cabin

Old Glory was perfect for our weekend getaway. All the rooms were nice and we loved all the games that were available outside to play. I would definitely recommend anyone to stay here.

Old Glory was an amazing cabin for a family. Plenty of room for everyone. Stocked with games for inside and out. It had everything we needed for a great getaway! We would definitely stay here again!

Good trip overall

A few complaints: no couch, just 3 recliners for the 5 of us, too many throw rugs to trip on, shower was inaccessible to our 1 handicapped person, only 1 skillet which had no cover. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay in this beautiful area. Loved all the games available too!

Cabin was clean, but the amenities needed care… several of the hot tub jets didn’t seem to work, one of the ladderball racks was broken laying on the ground and missing a blue piece, and the wifi never worked.

Week trip

Enjoyed the cabin and hot tub, we booked this particular place due to pool table but it was ripped in multiple places not shown in pics. We are avid pool players and staying a week so definite down fall. Kitchen was nice set up for cooking. Hangers in closet for robes but no spa robes there. Construction site nearby super loud in mornings but, Overall great stay.

PERFECT for the weekend with 4 teen boys!

We had a wonderful time at Old Glory. It was super easy to find and convenient to all the places. At initial view when we pulled in we thought it was small, but the outside is deceiving. The layout is perfect. It had all the things we needed, even a crockpot. As stated in the description, the wifi/internet can be spotty b/c of nature/weather/etc. but that's totally understandable ... besides, you are there to unplug and enjoy nature. :)

Great cabin! 100% recommend

We did a couples vacation and we had such an amazing time at Old Glory! The hot tub was wonderful, half the jets aren’t working but we still really enjoyed it! The kitchen is fully equipped and we enjoyed making dinners together. Make sure you bring ice they do have ice trays in the freezer but there isn’t an ice machine. The property literally has everything else you need! It’s absolutely beautiful and such an oasis. We had a problem with the WiFi router going out and the maintenance man was there literally in 5 minutes to help us with it. There customer service is absolutely amazing. We will definitely book here again next time we visit 💕

Great family weekend at Old Glory

Old Glory was beautiful and wow what a great time we had. So much fun stuff to do and stay busy. It was amazing, sitting out in the hot tub, surrounded by peaceful serene views and hearing the wind in the trees! Only thing I could say is, kitchen could definitely use more pots/pans, measuring cups, and silverware. For the price I paid, I would of loved to have everything needed to successfully make dinner, and it was bare for cooking. Overall, we absolutely loved our stay. Everything clean and we made amazing family memories! Thanks Old Glory, we would love to be back!

Great place to stay!

Comfortable beds, clean space, great water pressure, clean hot tub, lots of fun outdoor activities! Only complaint was the wifi. I did not reach out to the property manager because that’s not why we were there but service was spotty so wifi would have been nice but not a deal breaker. We absolutely loved our stay thank you

Great location, beautiful place.

We loved our stay at the cabin, it’s surrounded by beautiful nature and a short drive to the lake. The cabin has everything that is needed plus some, such as a lot of games and a pool table (a definite winner for my mom), and even my 2-yr old toddler was preoccupied. The decor is very rustic, and carefully selected which adds to the charm of the place. I’d absolutely recommend it to everyone and stay there again. A few things I’d upgrade - better internet service/provider, as the Wi-Fi provided in the house wasn’t working for anyone. Make sure that the propane tank for the grill is full, and grilling/fire roasting equipment has been cleaned (it was pretty dirty when we stayed there). Some of the stair treads are a bit of a safety hazard and they seem about to break.

Facilities are ok. Not fully equipped kitchen, microwave didn’t work. Overall, OK stay. Poor communication with property owner. Never sent confirmation email and no code to get inside until after an hours plus being on the phone with Vrbo. Lack of communication started the trip off poorly.

It’s was fun

It was fun! First family vacation and we had so much to do at Old Glory. Bean bags, fire, hot tub, movies, the pool table was the best! The only thing that we were not satisfied was that a room downstairs had water leaking. Maintenance came and helped out. Once we turned on the AC it started leaking again. The toaster also only warmed up one side and fishing poles did not work. But above all the experience was amazing!!!!

Wonderful time away

Overall the property is in an amazing location. Close to all attractions. Very clean and well kept. I would stay here again. However; I’d like to say that several “extras” seem to need attention. Fishing poles available to be used (nice surprise). But they were all broken and tangled. None of the bird and squirrel feeders were filled. Primary microwave in the kitchen above the stove is busted, replaced with a smaller one sitting on the counter. Small kitchen can’t afford to loose counter space to a microwave. Just replace the primary. There was an unexpected hammock rack outside, so nice, but no hammock to be found. Lots of board and card games available for use, super thoughtful, but most of the games were missing pieces and the decks were missing cards. Again the place is wonderful, but it looks like a lot of the nice extras the owner throws in as a surprise amenity have not been kept up with and other guest have damaged or stolen them. The kitchen is much the same. Beautiful and clean, however; although the owner was nice enough to include many dishes and utensils, many are damaged or miss matched. Also, we found a 1cup measuring cup and a 1 tsp measuring spoon. All others were missing, so you could make due, but cooking something’s became difficult. So I suggest bringing whatever cook wear and mixing or measuring tools you need.

Exceeded our expectations

We really enjoyed our stay at Old Glory. It was very peaceful. Nothing like sitting on the front porch with a cup of coffee early in the morning. That was fun! We will return to this wonderful place.

Suggestions for owner

This was a very nice cabin but I have a few suggestions. Stop taking reservations and exterminate. We lost our bread/bagels due to mice, which left a mess everywhere. And there were large spiders. All doors need WD-40, it’s impossible to open or close a door quietly. We were instructed to wash a load of clothes but there was no laundry soap. There was hair on the walls of the upstairs shower.
