The condo was clean and spacious, and the pool and grounds were beautiful! Excellent location to the beach, too.
Very large 2 bedroom condo with a really large balcony. Great location, next to Smithers beach and had a very nice large pool with a beach area next to it. Had a great time in Key West and in the condo!
Beautiful weather n setting. So much to do too little time. Next time we rent bikes so we don't have to worry about parking. Maybe another fishing trip.
I stayed at 4 Palms with three friends. We were absolutely thrilled with the condo. Beautifully decorated with Florida décor, plenty of room, beautiful kitchen containing absolutely everything we needed, and a wonderful balcony with comfortable sofa and chairs to enjoy the perfect Florida weather. The condo felt just like our home in Florida. The care that went into making this condo comfortable and beautiful was definitely appreciated.
We loved Smathers Beach being so close. The pool was lovely as well as the little on-site beach. The people were very friendly. All in all, a very wonderful vacation--everything went exactly as planned.
We spent 3 weeks in Jan 2017 at the 4 Palms and loved it! We liked the location on the beach and waking up to the sunrise. Pool area is large and we never had a problem with finding a good chair in the sun. We stayed on the second floor of the C building and the condo was nicely appointed and gave us everything we needed. One drawback was our Tahoe couldn't fit in the garage as 6'2" is the max vehicle height.
We liked walking to Duval and the harbor areas for drinks, dinner and happy hours. It is a little over a 2 mile walk to Duval, but it is a great way to get your steps in before enjoying some tasty treats.
The building is made up of 3 sections A,B,C. I think most of the rental's are in A and C. In building C several of the condo's open to the street and some have an ocean view. The condo's that open to the busy street are subject to traffic noise. The noise is tolerable but in my estimation, you should pay a little more and get a condo that opens to the pool or away from the street. If you rent a condo that opens to the street, it would be better to be on the 3rd or 4th floor. We rented on the 2nd floor.
The condo was very nice. We had a few issues, but they were resolved when we notified management. We would stay there again. It is away from the busy downtown area. I think a car is needed. There are no major grocery stores within walking distance. It is however, 4 minutes to the airport.
Make sure everyone in your party has a set of keys. Every gate and door has a lock. I think this is one area that needs improvement. At least change from keys to cards.
