Neue Fußböden, Farben, Möbel und Bettwäsche sind nur einige der Verbesserungen, die derzeit durchgeführt werden. Das Hotel liegt nur 2 Blocks vom Pier entfernt. Sobald Sie im Paradies angekommen sind, brauchen Sie Ihr Auto nicht mehr, um alles zu genießen, was der Strand von Garden City zu bieten hat.
Genießen Sie den Sonnenaufgang über dem Meer mit Ihrem Morgenkaffee vom Achterdeck oder Sonnenuntergangscocktails zum Rauschen der Wellen!

The view is amazing. Host provided chairs for the beach. There was plenty of room for everyone to sit at the table and everyone had their own bed. 3 full bathrooms made getting ready to go out easy!

Fantastic Home

This home was amazing and we were thrilled with the beautiful views. Convenient to the pier. Great communication with the host once we were checked in but I would’ve preferred the check in instructions a bit sooner as I didn’t get them until an hour or 2 before check in. That just made me nervous as I assumed I’d have it sooner. Light switches inside are strange and porch light on ocean side of the home wouldn’t stay on. But this home is amazing and we would love to stay again!!

Great house & beach!

This house was very nice, and clean. However, it was missing a few amenities and the family room seating was a bit sparse (for 13 guests). The property manager was very responsive and accommodating and the beach was beautiful. All in all our family had a wonderful vacation.

The layout of the house was perfect for our family. We had had both in-laws stay and it gave enough room for each of their personalities. Thanksgiving On the Beach

We stayed Wednesday to Sunday. The house was exceptionally clean, lots of room for a large group of 11. Our favorite part is all the access to the beach, two bedrooms and a living room and dining room slider to open to hear and see the beach. At the bottom of the deck you are walking on the sand just feet from the ocean, its awesome!

Beautiful sunrises

This property is very close to the water’s edge and beautiful sunrises greet you every morning. We were overall thankful for the time away with our family. A good bit of cleaning was needed upon arrival. Drawers, beds and floors were sandy. All though the manager jumped on our requests quickly, we still needed to clean up sand before we could settle in. There was a lot of after hour noise on the beach each day of the week including fireworks which kept us awake. This property may be better suited for young party goers instead of families.

Hey Andrew! Thanks again for staying with us! Garden City Beach is very lively and that’s one reason why families love to stay close to the pier. I’m also pretty sure it is one of the last few places in the country where you can set fireworks off on the beach. As you can imagine, a house directly on the sand may have a grain or 2 on the floor near the sliding door to go out to the beach. I’m glad you let us know right away so my cleaner was able to come there and take care of it for you.

Ok but not as expected

I will start with the positive saying Karl the owner was great! Immediately responsive to all my texts, but the house was not what i had expected for the money. I booked primarily because of a previous review that said the kitchen was well stocked to prepare thanksgiving meal for 8 people…well, I don’t know what they were cooking with! There was 1 pot holder, no broiler pan, no ice maker and only 3 ice trays with no bucket to hold ice in order to refill trays. We made a Walmart run to buy kitchen supplies that were lacking. The knobs on the vent over the stove were broken and the owner had to send his cleaner with some pliers for us to be able to turn the knobs in order to use the light and the vent. We had to buy solo cups in order to have enough glassware, lots of coffee cups, but not enough glasses. there was a cheap, plastic Mr Coffee 12 cup coffee maker. It did the job but a keireg or something a little nicer was expected for the price of the listing. There were 8 adults in our group and the house was small for that amount of people. We are all family so it was OK, but the sitting area was smaller than it looked online and not enough seating, The dining table was great for 8…square table so we gathered at table to talk and play games, etc. there were no games or puzzles at house, only a deck of cards, some ping pong balls and poker chips. The listing says there is a charcoal grill….thats a joke! It’s a small uncovered stand up grill like you find at a state park that might hold 4 burgers. It was dirty and peeling. 4 bedrooms are upstairs. The bathrooms were newly renovated and nice. there was 1 bathroom for 3 of the bedrooms and an en suite for the master. There was another full bathroom downstairs off the main living area. A small office/bedroom directly off kitchen. The main deck off living area had 4 Adirondack chairs and a bench. They had put a few beach chairs on the lower deck for us to use and a can jam game which was nice. All in all the house was pretty stripped down. No extra blankets or pillows in bedrooms or throws to use on sofas and barely equipped kitchen. The location is very convenient. At high tide the waves are right at the base of the stairs to beach, at low tide its a wonderful wide flat beach. Nice close walk to the pier and 2 1/2 mile walk the other way to sea wall. There was a broom and whisk but a vacuum would’ve been nice to keep the sand at bay on the inside floors. We won’t book again.

Hey Dede, Thank you for listing the positives in your review. We were pretty shocked to read the negative comments. We reached out to you multiple times to check that everything was going well and you didn't mention anything to us that you put in your review. I'd like to address some of the things you listed. Kitchen supplies: There are 3 cabinets filled with various cooking pots. We understand that everyone may have a particular pot they use and if you would have asked, we would have brought you anything you needed. We stock the house so it comfortably accommodates 13 people. We periodically test this by bringing our own family there to make sure everything is up to par. We have multiple family games in the desk drawer in the office as well as extra blankets in the drawer under the bed. The extra pillows could be found in the queen bedroom closet upstairs. We apologize about the BBQ. It was destroyed in last months hurricane and we have a new one on order. We could have brought you another grill if we had known you were going to use it. All of the negatives would have been addressed immediately if you would have just reached out to us. We pride ourselves on making our guests have the best vacation stay possible. Not knowing there were issues is obviously disappointing to us. -Karl

Work Trip Get Away-TERRIFIC!!!

Fabulous beach house, ocean-front and 2 great deck spaces. Open kitchen, dining and living room great space for being together! Love the décor, upgrades and comforts of home. Adirondack chairs on the deck were so nice to sit, have coffee and watch the sunrise. Karl was a great host, welcomed us, great tips and was available if we had questions. We had a lovely stay and look forward to returning again!

The perfect beach house!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Paradise Sands. We were a group of 13 people and everything was great! The beds were comfortable and the house is updated nicely. The location was perfect and very close to the pier. Looking out the dining room window at the ocean made me feel like I was on a cruise. Can’t wait to come back again!

Can’t Wait to Go Back

Very many years I've been coming to Garden City Beach and I must say, Paradise Sands is the absolute best house I have ever rented on the beach! Most houses that I've rented in the past were old and outdated. This house was recently remodeled and has an amazing feel to it. The furniture, bathrooms and flooring are all new. The views off of the back decks are breathtaking. I made sure to get up every morning to watch the sunrise and even saw pods of dolphins swimming by more than once! The kitchen was well stocked and the host Karl was incredible! I mentioned that I forgot a few cooking items and he had it brought to me without me even asking him! Thanks Karl!! I would give this house a 10 star review but unfortunately VRBO only allows a 5 star max. I will definitely be back!
