Cabin in the Woods

The cabin is spacious and clean and was just right for our family of 6. It is close enough to Lake Lure and Chimney Rock to be easily accessible. And remote enough to be quiet and relaxing. We had a great time.

We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and we wanted to share the following: - Evolve uses professional photography so the features you see on the listing are accurately advertised. - We're sorry for any difficulty in finding the light switches. This is the first time the owners have received this feedback, but they will look into adding a note about the lights in the welcome book. - The owners have replaced the remote control, and there are no issues with the WiFi so this shouldn't be a concern for future guests. The owners truly go above and beyond for their guests, and we're confident this cabin will host many happy travelers!

Perfect Family Weekend it the Mountains!

Right when you walk into their home, you are greeted with warmth and a welcoming feeling. Our family of four, were very comfortable. Our teen loved having the downstairs to herself and our other teen loved the second master bedroom! The kitchen had everything you needed to cook meals. The fridge was so clean and you were able to stock up, which is very thoughtful. The beds were king-sized and very comfortable. And the large laundry room for us was a plus! The location was close to the town activities. We loved Burnshirt Vineyard and the Lake House on Lake Lure.

Lake Lure Getaway

We enjoyed another great trip to Lake Lure. Our family comes to Lake Lure each year. This is our 2nd trip to the River Bend Community. We loved the cozy atmosphere of the house. It was very private. The back deck is ideal for reading and watching deer walk by in the morning. The house is well stocked. Pretty much anything you need is available. There was plenty of room for our family of five. The view at the end of the road is amazing! Our only complaint is the heat wasn't working downstairs. We made do and had a great trip!

Best cabin trip EVER!!!

It was our anniversary trip. The cabin was clean beautifully decorated felt like a home away from home beds were comfortable and everything we needed was within reach will definitely be coming back with our children!!! Stayed in this cabin for a girls weekend, the set up is perfect. Beyond having anything you could need to cook, relax, and find local things to do the cabin even provided little things like soaps that you often forget when renting a place vs a hotel. While on the girls weekend the cabin had the perfect set up, the early bird girls stayed upstairs and the late night ladies stayed downstairs which has its own access from outside allowing the early birds not to be disturbed. Morning coffee on the patio in the tree tops is breathtaking, and who could resist the urge to play who can spot the most wild life? It’s obvious this cabin was designed with love and it makes it comfortable, functional, and relaxing.

This home is cozy and beautiful! We had a wonderful time during our stay. I loved drinking coffee on the deck in the morning and enjoying a glass of wine in the evening. Definitely take a walk up the road for a lovely mountain view. I also highly recommend the nearby funnel cake place and food truck. Amazing 🤩

My peaceful Luxurious getaway

This spectacular cabin in Lake Lure gives you everything you want on a vacation. From the moment you arrive your welcome to a clean and beautifully decorated home. The morning’s where I spent either on the front or back porch watching and listening to the wildlife. Such as humming birds greeting you and the multitude of deer 🦌 almost daily at no particular time. The amenities as though you were home such as large TV’s and the Keurig coffee maker. I’ve been to Chimney Rock, Burntshirt winery and the Biltmore building memories. Plus visiting the Dirty Dancing scenes filmed here. Or hanging out binging watching TV or my daughters friend hanging out on the back porch on her lap top doing school work we will never forget and we will definitely come back! Must get at the bottom of the road the funnel cake and get pizza from Star 64 Marathon or Garden Cafes fish fry! We will Hate to leave but will be back. Thank you to the owners for sharing their home with others🙏

Had a peaceful retreat here and everything worked in the house perfectly. Owners were very attentive to any questions I had. Only grip I had about the place was taking the garbage in my car 3 miles down the road to the dumpster. I would have their cleaning service take care of that inconvenience for their customers

Our girls weekend spent at this property was much needed and amazing to say the least. Before checking in I spoke with Amy and she was so nice, the process to get into the gate as well as the house was well laid out. Also the pictures do this place no justice. We will definitely be back

Beautiful, clean lake home with the best couch EVER!

We rented Amy's home for our girls getaway and we can't wait to return! We had great communication with the owner. We had no problem finding the home. Upon entering the home, we noticed sweet little personalized touches, such as a sign welcoming us by name. The bedrooms were very spacious. We all felt spoiled by the luxury bedding and pillows. The kitchen was well stocked. Our favorite feature was the amazing couch in the living room. The three of us literally sat on it for a whole day! This couch is not only super comfy but it is big enough to be able to spread out. This is #CouchGoals for me! Thank you, Amy, for welcoming us into your lovely home.

Soul-Soothing Lake Lure Getaway (So Fresh and so Clean!)

After five months of "Coviding" in my home, my daughters and I were ready to "quarantine" somewhere else and this lovely cabin in Lake Lure proved to be the perfect escape! We had affectionately nicknamed it "the fancy one" while shopping online - and I can now vouch that the photos are accurate and it is simply gorgeous. We loved the fresh clean smells that greeted us upon arrival and the wonderful communication from the owner that made us feel right at home. This host has splurged on high-speed wireless (which let us do our remote work and school from the cabin) and some wonderful extras like super soft sheets and high-quality pillows. We loved the plants, the decor and the TLC that was taken with all the details. Many thanks for the bottle of wine to greet us upon arrival and the willingness to take my phone call to identify where the extra propane tank was (and talk us through how to get the outdoor fireplace ignited). GREAT HOME and GREAT HOSTS - WONDERFUL LOCATION and EXCELLENT VALUE - what more can you ask for!?!
