Can’t beat this property

This property is fabulous inside and out. The landscaping is beautiful, and the decks, spa and pool complement the lake view wonderfully. Inside the house is beautifully (and comfortably) furnished and the kitchen is well stocked and amazingly outfitted with almost any kind of toy a chef could want. The back wall of windows brings the outside in. The main bedroom is as comfy as it gets, and the adjoining bath is luxurious and has tons of storage. Kathy was a very responsive and accommodating host—we look forward to returning.

Perfect family gathering home

This home was everything it purported to be and then some. It was the ideal spot for my three adult sons and me over the holidays. The interior space was gorgeously designed, airy and spacious and had everything we needed, the kitchen in particular was equipped with everything we might need. The home had everything we might need upon arrival and exceptionally comfortable. I would recommend to anyone looking for an idyllic getaway with a gorgeous view in Austin. We.would definitely love to return.

Extended vacay

This property and host did not disappoint, everything was as described and there is nothing you don’t have at your disposal, house size, comfy beds , so many kitchen extras, the view and pool. Every day was full with the nearby marina, water park and surrounding cities. Already counting the days until we can go back!

We stayed for about 10 days in the Treehouse and it was absolutely amazing! Kathy has all the amenities and the property is gorgeous! We really enjoyed our stay. A few things came up (as they do) but Kathy was proactive, responsive, and helped us address them all. She was great to work with! You will not be disappointed!

A trip to Paradise

When you arrive at this property, the word “paradise” adorns the gate. To say that this lake house is paradise is an understatement. This may be the most beautiful vacation home I’ve ever rented. Every detail of the home decor, every amenity, is perfect. Kathy is the most gracious owner, and she made us feel completely at ease about every step of the rental process. I can’t recommend this home enough! The lake views, the pool/hot tub, the dock and kayaks all made for a magical family vacation. My children, as well as their grandparents, had the very best time.

Great Escape!

Wife and I snuck away for a long weekend escape. So glad we landed here! Fantastic location, great views, very clean, well stocked and great communication from the property manager. Have stayed at several VRBO and Air B&Bs, and this has been one of the best by far! Kathy was very responsive and accommodating. 10 out 10!

Spectacular Getaway Setting

There are only superlatives to describe the Lake Travis Treehouse! The communication with the property owner, Kathy, was outstanding from start to finish. She is so gracious and quickly provided lots of helpful information about activities in the area and everything our family (three adults and our two college-aged sons). needed to settle in comfortably. She responded immediately to any questions. As for the house - AMAZING! The view from the pool and spa is simply stunning. You truly feel like you are in a grown-up, luxury treehouse. Inside, the house is so comfortable and gracious. There are lots of windows with bright natural light and adequate shades for nighttime. The beds are heavenly, the bathrooms have great showers and are well-stocked with amenities and fluffy towels. The ktichen is well-stocked with dishes and every small and large appliance one might need. The appliances are all new and top notch. Everything, from the thermostats, to TV, to WIFI, to sound system, to pool were easy to control and adjust. We booked a pontoon for the lake and in-home massages, based on info Kathy provided. There were plenty of dining options nearby and many outstanding restaurants a short drive into Austin. Some of the best BBQ we've had (and we're from Texas) was takeout from Jim's Smokehouse, a food truck 15 minutes from the house! We so enjoyed the balance of relaxation and fun activities in the gorgeous setting and loved our Thanksgiving getaway - our stay was perfection!

A true Texas paradise!

We were looking for a last-minute Texas getaway to spend time as a family together. We wanted some thing where we could spend time together and not feel like we had to run here or there to enjoy our trip. This home is remarkable! Accommodations, the home, the pool, the views are second to none and all of the little details and things that you would think you would need we’re all there, and then some! The lake was awesome, even spent a day enjoying it despite lower lake levels. The property owner was one of the most communicative and helpful that I’ve experienced on VRBO. We tend not to be repeat travelers due to our sense of adventure, but my wife and I both agreed this place would be on a short list to return to. If you’re on the fence, don’t hesitate to book!

Lake Travis Gem

From the communication to the accommodation, five stars across the board. Comfortable beds, good water pressure, stocked house, spectacular views and easy water access. (It’s a bit of a hike to the water because of the low water levels so steer clear if any problems with a good hike up some stairs). But the dock is accessible even in the low water. Local boat companies will pick you up at the dock which was a HUGE bonus for us. There are plenty of water toys to use including kayaks and floaties which make a day on the dock pretty enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again and the host was fantastic.Cheers
