Charming Adobe Casa In North Valley, tolle Aussicht auf Balloon Fiesta!

I am SORRY our casa did not meet your expectations! We have always had very high ratings. Guests stated, “Clean but not many comforts here,” and “if you don’t really care what the place looks like.” We strive to provide a truly unique New Mexico experience. The house has exposed adobe walls, vigas, ceiling beams, saltillo flooring, talavera tile accents in a passive solar adobe. We provide a pillow top queen bed in one bedroom and a similar full size bed in the other bedroom featuring high thread count linens, outdoor brick patio with water feature, fire pit, wood burning stove, fully stocked kitchen and kitchen staples, games, books, laundry soap, bath toiletries, as well as other comforts and amenities. Guest states, “not really a very nice area at all. Mostly trailer park.” New Mexico typically has a diverse building mix in neighborhoods from custom homes to old traditional casas and manufactured homes. Our neighborhood is a mostly owner occupied quarter acre to one and a half acre home sites with this traditional mixture. The guest states “the furniture is a bit dated and old” We have decorated in traditional New Mexico flair providing equipale (authentic Mexican tanned pigskin) tables and chairs, handmade southwestern bench, antique armoire wardrobe from the Fred Harvey’s hotel and an antique four post bedroom set with new pillowtop mattress. Our goal has always been to strive for 5 star ratings and a home away from home feeling. Imagine our SURPRISE at the 2 star rating when we have had 5 stars and a couple of 4 stars on all of our booking sites. We have had six guests who have booked return visits, and given nothing but complimentary comments. We would have liked our guest to communicate their dissatisfaction immediately and directly to us so as to alleviate their confusion about the cable TV and point out the additional comforts they may have missed that were provided. We really appreciate each guest’s review as we use their feedback to continually improve our guests’ experience. This allows us to reflect on our property with great detail. We ask that you please read the other reviews as we believe this guest’s 2 star review does not accurately represent the quality of our property, but we will take what they have mentioned into consideration and make sure we always continue to go above and beyond with our accommodations and service to make every guest highly satisfied. We will thoughtfully consider their review.

Betty and her sister treated our casa as if it were their home. She cared for my moms rose and it is blooming beautifully. We like to see returning guests as it speaks to quality of their stay. We strive to exceed expectations. Betty is welcome back anytime, and hope to see next year.
