A wonderful place to stay, with loads of special touches from the hosts. Handy to all the scenic sites around Maleny. Well kept cottage clean and modern, you wish for nothing. Will stay again. Loved everything about our magical stay.

Short break in lovely spot

We had a beautiful three nights here. So peaceful with lots of bird life to listen to. Beautifully presented and perfect for four adults and two small dogs!

Fabulous location and facilities

Thoroughly enjoyed the location and atmosphere at the kookaburra cottage. Was everything it said it would be. Our grandson loved seeing the chickens. We all loved the complimentary breakfast.

Second Stay

This was the second time I have taken friends to stay here. As always, the property was spotless, comfortable, quiet and private. The breakfast hampers are always great and we even stretched our to last for two mornings!

We will definitely be back, absolutely stunning. Loved that we could take our 2 small dogs, the hosts we so accomodating .. The fresh morning bread and beautiful eggs were a great start to our day 😊

Mother's day long weekend away

Absolutely fabulous place to stay. Immaculate cottage with all you need. Bed & pillows were amazingly comfortable. Lovely views & a great log fire which was easy to light. Lovely breakfast & goodies all stocked up & was even offered more home cooked bread if we wanted. Great location a few minutes drive to township. Hosts very nice & friendly. All in all a fabulous place to stay. Hope to return one day.

Had the absolute best time in this accommodation enough bathrooms for all of us everything was clean and organise property manages a call away and so lovely to talk to driveway was a challenge however didn’t take away from the amazing view and feel of this place

Lovely Property and awesome hospitality

Modern and very clean guesthouse. Beds were snuggly and I imagine would be delicious in winter. The breakfast provided was superb. Check in super easy and directions accurate. Spacious with a great deck to listen to the birds. In fact, I have already rebooked to take other guests next year. Looking forward to it.

Cottage was just magic. Driveway a challenge for older people when taxis can not pick up closer to you. Too steep for elderly folks. But loved loved the cottage & location. Really enjoyed our short stay. 5 star + Thanks again

Girls trip

Flew interstate for a friends wedding, rented ‘On Burgum Pond’ Guesthouse for 3 nights with some friends. Very comfortable stay for 3 adults. With a large kitchen/living area, 2 separate walk in robes and 2 ensuites, it is perfect for getting ready for a wedding or event. Just 5-10mins drive to the supermarket and local cafe strip. Perfect location for a tranquil getaway. The property was clean and well maintained. No issues had during our stay. The owners were incredibly kind, providing a breakfast hamper with freshly baked bread, eggs, fruit and spreads which lasted our entire trip. Lovely view of the pond off the back deck. Would recommend if staying in Maleny or visiting Sunshine Coast.

The worst location I have ever stayed in.The apartment is tiny, like really tiny. After putting our bags down, there was barely enough room to stand. There is also no seating other than the bed. Walking into the room gives an immediate damp smell, and mold can be seen around the air vent. The location is terrible. The apartment sits meters away from a very busy street and there is no soundproofing. You hear every single car as if you were right next to it at all hours of the night. Being next to a police station also means constant sirens and yelling at all hours.The bed is the worse part. We arrived to dirty sheets with stains and the previous guests hairs all over. Taking off the sheets showed the worst mattress I have ever seen, with all manor of bodily fluid stains. These stains are all over the pillows. The bed frame is not screwed together, the metal has just been placed, so it was constantly falling apart and moving the mattress. I left this apartment with 6 insect bites, more than I have ever gotten in such a short duration.The shower head is broken and shoots water out at every angle, good luck having a relaxing shower.Overall, do not stay at this apartment, it will ruin your holiday. I am shocked that they were comfortable even advertising this location and allowing people to stay. I feel completely ripped off that I had to pay any amount of money for this and will be seeking some sort of refund.

Amazing property and views

Linda and Anthony were great hosts, amazing accommodation easy communication and they have thought of everything you might need for your stay. Easy check in with the guesthouse having 2 bathrooms so that was an extra luxury for our daughter. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for amazing accommodation in maleny for your stay
