Coastal Pause auf der Sonnenseite des Wye-River liegt mitten in einem kurzen Fußweg zu dem Laden, Café, ein Pub und Strand. Das Haus verfügt über drei Split-Levels von einem spektakulären Treppenhaus verbunden sind. Es gibt einen Reverse-Zyklus A / C im Wohnzimmer zusammen mit Wand in jedem der Zimmer-Panel-Heizungen montiert.

Im Obergeschoss befindet sich die Hauptebene und beinhaltet eine offene Küche, Wohn- und Essbereich mit einer großen Außenterrasse Bereich eröffnet mit schönen Blick auf das Meer, Essen im Freien, Baujahr Gasgrill und integrierten Außen Waschbecken und Waschbereich. Im Inneren befindet sich eine große Holzofen, LED-TV und DVD-Player.

Die Qualität Küche verfügt über alle neuen europäischen Geräten, eine Kaffeemaschine und eine separate Mühle, großer Kühlschrank, Geschirrspüler und Mikrowelle.

Das Obergeschoss Split-Level beinhaltet das Hauptschlafzimmer mit eigenem eine freistehende Badewanne, zusammen mit weiteren 2 Queen-Schlafzimmer und ein weiteres Bad. Diese Ebene enthält auch einen europäischen Stil Waschraum mit Waschmaschine und separater Wanne.

DOWNSTAIRS verfügt über einen separaten Wohn- / Krawall-Bereich über einen Fernseher, DVD-Player, CD-Player und Nintendo Wii mit einer Auswahl an Spielen. Im Erdgeschoss enthält auch ein Schlafzimmer mit einem Etagenbett und ein Dreibettzimmer Etagenbett (Doppelbett unten, single oben) ausgestattet, insgesamt 5 sowie einem angrenzenden Badezimmer schlafen.

Avoidable inconveniences

Our family were staying in this house for a close family wedding. This was made clear from the time of booking. I contacted the manager 3 separate times in lead up to the wedding to ask for early check-in. Each time we were asked to make contact closer to the booking. The final contact was made 2 days before the wedding and we still weren't provided a clear answer regarding early check in. There wasn't even confirmation the morning of the morning. As a result the family had to make last minute arrangements to get ready - this included the bride, bridesmaid and the grooms family. My sister had to dress her 3 young children in a car park and enter the property for the first time in pitch black, without the use of the garage (the remote wasn't working despite specifically asking for use of the garage previously). The house was great but due to the extreme inconvenience of communication we won't be staying at this property again. Of all family and friends that stayed in accommodation for this weekend - we were the only property not granted early check in. I sincerely hope the property manager considers greater care and communication with future guests.

Our check-in time is 3pm onward in order to prepare the property for your stay on the day of your arrival, this was communicated to you numerous times. If you required access to the property to prepare yourselves for a wedding you could have considered booking the night before to allow the time necessary for you & your family to check-in as early as possible. An earlier check-in time is not always guaranteed. The garage is accessible for our guests, had this been communicated to us with a phone call, email or message via this platform we would have resolved this for you. Excellent location and property but for price missing a few details

It’s a beautiful property in an amazing location. We were surprised to turn up at 5pm and the house was freezing cold. There is AC in the living room but not in the bedrooms which have a wall heater. We had to take blankets from the other beds to stay warm enough. It was obvious the property had been surface cleaned only. The master bathroom shower stall had pink mould in the tile grouting and around the drain which was quite disgusting. There was also no functioning TV. The internet needed resetting and the router was locked away so we couldn’t reset it. Even normal tv couldn’t be watched due to terrible reception. We tried to contact the office but they are closed on the weekend. Great property but overpriced given the lack of attention to detail.

Our family love Wye river and this was a great home to accomodate us all! Great size house. Host was lovely and fast with any questions we had. Super hard hill to walk up from the beach/pub! But we still loved the work out. Thank you

Disappointing

Property was nice but not worth the money On arrival we had to clean out fireplace as it was full of soot. Had to go out and collect kindling. And cart wood up 2 flights stairs T.v was unwatchable. No reception, BBQ was filthy. The shower floor had mold. Soiled linen. Rubbish left under furniture had trouble with remotes as batteries were flat. Overall a nice property but some serious problems with management

Building & location are good but some basics missing

The property is very nice with lots of space. We a loved the number of bedrooms, bathrooms and living spaces. The paved drive way and car parking were excellent. The sensor lights are also excellent. Important but small things let down the stay. The house sleeps 11 people but there were not enough cups and bowls for 11 people or to even fill the dishwasher. It seemed like opshop crockery provided, there was only one mug, four teacups and then about 10 latte type mugs that are hot to hold with a cup of tea. There were about 8 mismatched bowls that looked like oddments some chipped, not enough for a house that can sleep 11 people. This unfortunately gives the lovely house a cheap feel to it. Most people know you can get cheap matching crockery at Kmart for a couple of dollars each. I expected the house to have an iron and ironing board, this is important as such a house is rented for wedding guests. The ensuite basin needed clearing as it would overflow half way through a shave. The balcony has lovely views but a simple cleaning of the cobwebs around the windows would just make the views even more spectacular. I hope this feedback is taken constructively and acted on.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

We stayed here over a weekend for a wedding. It is a beautiful big house with an amazing view. Walking distance to everywhere however the hill and driveway are quite steep. The house was fine however not as cosy as other houses in the area, no essentials in the cupboards, and quite dusty. Other houses our family stayed in were greeted with welcome letters, gifts of wine and chocolates and fires ready to lit, small gestures that could have made our stay that little bit more charming. Also the decor is very outdated, could easily be made more inviting and homely with a make over. Beds were comfy, towels were big and soft, bathrooms nice and clean. Lots of stairs throughout the house also.

Great House, views and location, but dusty

The house was amazing, location was great and views were wonderful. We really enjoyed our stay. The house was tidy and we could tell that it was cleaned, but it seemed like weeks or months ago. The house hasnt been opened or aired out and dust and spider web that collected over time accumulated on floors, cabinets, tables, benches and beds as it hasnt been cleaned prior to our arrival. BBQ was dirty and there were 2 gas bottles available for use, but both empty, and then we had to stop our BBQ half way through and finish the rest on the stove. We also had to clean all dust and mop when we first arrived as well as re do it all before we left. We still had a great stay over all, but made our impression of the place less appealing as we did not expect this kind of service for this nice and high paying property. I did call the rental property and informed them of all of this, they said they will look into it and get back to me, but never did.

Great location and view

This property was great for the three families that stayed over a long weekend. The view from the balcony was beautiful and the wood fire kept us warm. Some negatives of the property was there was not enough seating for 11 people staying at the property. The outdoor furniture was broken and extremely weathered and could not be used. The kitchen items were stained, Brocken, the rangehood didn’t work. The house also ran out of hot water after 3 people had showers which didn’t really cater for 11 people. Overall the house was clean and tidy but I would recommend replacing updating kitchen items and furniture outside.

Lovely house with lovely views

Stayed at Wye River for our daughters wedding. Could not ask for a more relaxing & enjoyable location. Our Coastal Break Wye House just suited our family for the weekend perfectly, although the road was washed away at the bottom of the driveway, we all survived.
