Dieses Cottage mit 2 Schlafzimmern bietet Blick auf die sanften Hügel und Wiesen von Johanna und den Naturwald auf dem Grundstück. Ein modernes, gut ausgestattetes Haus für bis zu 4 Personen.
Schlafzimmer 1 hat ein Queen-Size-Bett. Schlafzimmer 2 hat ein Etagenbett mit einem Doppelbett unten und einem Einzelbett oben.

Das Rauschen des Ozeans ist nur 3,5 km entfernt am Johanna Beach zu hören. Spazieren Sie entlang der Sandstrände und beobachten Sie den atemberaubenden Sonnenuntergang über dem Wasser. Wenn Surfen dein Ding ist, kannst du Johanna Beach nicht schlagen, oder du möchtest einfach in einer Schlange stehen und einen Fisch fangen. Für diejenigen, die es langsamer mögen, können Sie im Tagesbett faulenzen, während die Morgensonne das ganze Haus mit ihren goldenen Strahlen füllt. Diese 12 Hektar große Liegenschaft verfügt über einen eigenen Wald voller Farnschluchten. Machen Sie einen kurzen Spaziergang entlang der Gleise durch die majestätischen hohen Hölzer. Entspannen Sie sich am Ende des Tages und genießen Sie einen Grillabend mit einem Glas Ihres Lieblingsgetränks. Oder kuscheln Sie einfach neben der Wärme des Holzfeuers.

Das Anwesen liegt nur 1 km von der berühmten Great Ocean Road entfernt. Es ist ideal gelegen und bietet einfachen Zugang zu vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten von Otway, The Otway Fly, Maits Rest, Melba Gully, dem Leuchtturm von Otway, Castle Cove und Triplet Falls, um nur einige zu nennen. Der Great Ocean Walk schlängelt sich entlang des Johanna Beach, die 12 Apostel sind eine kurze 45-minütige Autofahrt entfernt und die Küstenstadt Apollo Bay ist eine 30-minütige Autofahrt entfernt.

Anna and Branko are amazingly outstanding hosts. Their attention to details in their cottage is exceptional. They are very generous with their supplies in the kitchen, bathroom, laundry, bedrooms and their fireplace. Cookies, chocolates and a loaf of freshly baked bread awaited us when we checked in. They also shared with us their own organic honey from their bee hives and lemons/limes from their property. They were very clear in their instructions to their property and for check in/out. Johanna Meadows is a beautiful, cosy and very comfortable & clean cottage in a serene, quiet and beautiful setting. The best self contained accommodation we have ever stayed at, here in Australia and overseas. We were walking the Great Ocean Road walking trail and we picked Johanna Meadows as our base because it is literally right in the middle of the walking trail, 30 minutes to Apollo Bay, the starting point of the trail, 40 minutes to the 12 Apostles, the ending point of the trail, with Cape Otway Lighthouse, Aire River, Johanna Beach, The Gable Lookout, Wreck Beach, and the Devil's Kitchen in between. Anna and Branko were very kind to agree to look out for us each day to ensure we returned to base at the end of each walking day. The cottage is only up the road from Johanna Beach and around 20 minutes to The Perch in Laver's Hill, an amazing place for good food and excellent service. Perfect

Thank you Anna and Branko for another lovely sojourn at beautiful Joanna Meadows. You are both wonderful and thoughtful hosts. As always, the cottage felt so welcoming. It is obviously well-loved and cared for. Some yummy treats on arrival. Spotlessly clean throughout. Very comfortable sofas and beds including quality bedding. I enjoyed cooking in the very well-equipped kitchen. Relaxing on the daybed either reading, looking out over the hills or watching for wildlife to come out of the forest. Although midwinter, I was warm and cosy inside thanks to the very effective wood heater. I loved listening to the birds, the wind in the trees and the Great Southern Ocean in the distance. Johanna Beach and part of the Great Ocean Walk are just a few minutes drive away. It was so quiet and peaceful here. The perfect place to just relax and soothe the soul.

Paradise close to home

We had a wonderful time staying at this gorgeous cottage that immediately felt like home. Beautifully styled home that is filled with lots of care and everything you would need for a comfortable stay.Anna and Branko made us feel at home, they treated us with a special gesture and checked in to ensure our stay is good. Great Ocean Road Hidaway

Arrived at the beautiful property to be greeted by a lovely decorated and very well equipped home with goodies from the garden as well as everything you could need for a couple of days away. Absolute paradise

This property is so much more than 10/10. From the second you see the cottage - forget everything you have ever known about a VRBO. The design is lovely, the grounds are huge and beautiful, we even saw a kangaroo. The walk down through the eucalyptus and tree ferns is lovely. You can even pick your own strawberries and herbs in the garden. All of the stylish touches in the cottage are too many to mention but the bed is really comfortable, the instructions are clear, thorough and outstanding and everything you could possibly need is there. There is a washer, a microwave, oven, tea, coffee, drying racks, beach towels, string, cling, even fresh bread, milk and honey. We cannot thank you enough, Anna and Branko - and hope we can retune

So peaceful

I just had another perfect stay at this beautiful property. So peaceful and quiet. Lovely cottage which was cosy and clean. I love all the personal touches. Some provisions and treats on arrival which were much appreciated. Bed and sofas so comfortable. Good quality linen and towels. Wonderful kitchen with everything you could need. Wood fire. Gorgeous views over rolling hills. A forest to wander through. Pretty cottage garden. Visits from wildlife. All kinds of birds. Only a few minutes drive down to Johanna Beach and Great Ocean Road walk. Glorious sunsets. Thank you Anna and Branko. You are the most thoughtful and caring hosts which for me makes all the difference. I look forward to my next stay at Johanna Meadows.

Perfect

This was a return visit for me. Anna and Branko are wonderful hosts who really care about their guests. I love the serenity of Johanna Meadows. The cottage is gorgeous. So cosy and sparkling clean. Beds and furniture are comfortable. You have everything you could need to prepare meals in the delightful kitchen. So many lovely touches inside. Beautiful view over the hills. A forest on the property to wander through. Kangaroos and wallabies come out to graze in the sun. Stunning Johanna Ocean Beach close by. You couldn’t find a more perfect place to stay.

The house is beautifully presented, clean & comfortable. It only had 2 drawbacks for us: the driveway in with little or no room to safely turn the vehicle in, on a steep slope. And the house is on the same steep slope some 20 - 30 metres below the drive.

Wonderful Winter Getaway

My sisters and I enjoyed a sensational girls weekend at this idyllic & immaculately presented cottage, cocooning in the warmth of the fireplace and watching the wildlife from the balcony. It was a delight to cook in the fully equipped kitchen. Many thoughtful touches by the hosts including a delicious loaf of homemade bread waiting for us on our arrival. We came last year in spring but equally good in winter and we can't wait to return.

Just Beautiful!

The cottage was warm, clean and cosy. The property was beautiful - we enjoyed walking through the forest and picnicking on the lawn. We loved the closeness to the beach and the quietness of where the house was located. Anna and Branko were great hosts! The extra touches they left throughout the house were most enjoyed.
