Wachen Sie zu den friedlichen Klängen von Vogelgezwitscher auf, Ihr Retreat ist umgeben von einer 80 Hektar großen Erdbeerfarm, die Aussies mit ihrer saftigen Güte versorgt. Sie werden Ihren eigenen Patch zur Auswahl haben (abhängig von Wetter und Verfügbarkeit). Sie können Ihre eigenen Eier sammeln. Genießen Sie die rustikale Umgebung eines bewirtschafteten Bauernhofs, bringen Sie Ihre Gummistiefel oder alte Schuhe mit, da Sie mit der satten roten Erde etwas schmutzig werden können. Beachten Sie, dass es sich um einen Bauernhof handelt und nicht um den Botanischen Garten, so dass es in der Zwischensaison einige Vorbereitungen mit einigen Paddocks geben wird, aber dies alles trägt zur Schönheit des Farmlebens bei.

The house was perfect for four women wanting a relaxing girl’s weekend. The house had all the features we wanted, in a lovely setting close to everything in the Yarra Valley.

Great girls weekend away

Fantastic property for our girls weekend. Enjoyed the spa and it was lovely and quiet. We went strawberry picking in the field The oven and main lounge fire place were not working which was a shame, but the property manager bought a bench top oven over that we could use. Overall a good property.

Excellent family getaway

Such a great property. Nice, clean, tidy house with great views, farm feel everything you would need. Greeted by the friendly host with a big box of fresh strawberries. Kids loved picking strawberries out the back and getting fresh eggs from the chickens each morning. Really Great property to stay with a small group, and only 15 mins from yarra valley wineries. Would definitely recommend/ stay again.

Perfect retreat

A perfect retreat for that country escape, but a few minutes within driving distance of supermarket. We were warmly welcomed by Pasqua and he made time to give us strawberries on what was probably one of his busiest days leading up to christmas. This house offers plenty of space, comfort and a couple of lovely decks with country views for lounging on. Our 4 year old grandson was thrilled to find the resident blue tongued lizard (Bluey) living under the shed out the back. We appreciated the decorated christmas tree which allowed us to enjoy our christmas away from home. Comfortable beds for all. Kitchen well appointed and great space for prep. Minutes away from wineries and food places. Thanks for giving us a lovely place to bring our family from New Zealand to experience an Australian Christmas.

Son’s Wedding

So glad we made the perfect choice for our weekend wedding get away. The house was perfect for us. The 4 bedrooms accommodated all 8 of the family - aged 59-86 perfectly. A relaxing Friday out on the deck taking in the beautiful view. Nothing better after a big wedding day than coming back and relaxing in the spa 😊 It was just what I needed. Dawn was so helpful and accommodating in the lead up and was a big help with recommendations for local services we needed. Pasqua was there to lend a helping hand and the strawberries he brought us were amazing. The chickens were a great addition as were their eggs. Couple of minor maintenance issues but other than that I would highly recommend this property for your getaway to the Yarra valley. Everything is only a short drive away. Thanks again Dawn and Pasqua for your hospitality 👍

Stay at Strawberry Farm

We stayed as a group of 8 (Three couples and two children aged 2 & 6). The house is not as big as we imagined and is quite loud with bedrooms abutting the living areas. The spa room (which is an awesome room) is separated from the house. We had terrible weather so was not able to enjoy the strawberry farm or trampolines but there is heaps of room outside. One of the fireplaces (in the living area) was not working and I wouldn't say the house was immaturely clean and the bathroom areas hold a lot of water if you are not careful to not drip any water outside of the shower. Foxtel and board games were fun and it is a very relaxing spot but the home missed on a few necessities like soap, paper towel and bin liners so we needed to contact the owner to provide

The property was lovely, and the surrounding was just breathtaking

We had a wonderful time at this property, however the place could do with some maintenance . The owner greeted us with home grown strawberries which were delicious , and overall the location was beautiful.

Amazing winter escape

Beautiful and very quiet house, relaxing spa and sauna. We didn't leave place for all weekend. Views are breathtaking, watching sunset from dinner table was absolutely amazing.

Lots of spaces with tons of character

We loved this accomodation for its multiple spaces, each offering different characteristic - from the deck outside looking at the beautiful scenery to the living room with an excellent gas fire to the bay window looking on to the greenery outside to the dining table! There were a ton of things in the pantry that we put to good use. The absolute best thing was the unlimited strawberries. Pasqual, the host, was ultra responsive and superb! Some potential improvements were sharper knives, milk in the fridge (to go with the tea and coffee) and potentially a spare gas cylinder so we can take full advantage of the gas heating without stressing about potentially running out of gas (it didn’t, so the concern was perhaps overrated!)

Wonderful property

Dawn’s property is a quiet, clean, spacious and a beautiful place. The whole place made us feel at ease and it was a very nice and peaceful weekend away. Dawn was very nice, easy to talk to and very friendly. We would highly recommend this wonderful place and would definitely come back again!
