Sonnenaufgang bei Penguin ist treffend, da sie Zeugen gegenüber dem Strand mit dem Namen die Morgenpracht direkt - nur 200 m vom Stadtzentrum und 30 Meter vom Strand entfernt.

Dieses 3-Zimmer-Haus (2 Doppelbetten und 2 Einzelbetten) ist komplett eigenständig und kurze und längere Aufenthalte gefördert.

Cafés und Restaurants sind in der Nähe sowie Bottle Anforderungen.

Es gibt viele Wanderwege in der Stadt und mehreren Stränden - 1 Stunde von Cradle Mountain und geografisch zentral auf der NW-Küste von Tasmanien zwischen Burnie und Devonport Flughäfen (30 Minuten) - 25 Minuten von der Spirit of Tasmania Terminal.

Mountainbike-Strecken in der näheren Wahlbereich für die 70 km mit herrlichem Blick von Mt Montgomery (a 40 Minuten Wanderung) zu verlängern. Hinterland-Attraktionen sind die Höhlen von Gunns Plains, die Leven Canyon, Weingüter, ländlichen Ackerland, Cradle Mountain und Spezial Bio-Betriebe, wie beispielsweise Mt Gnoman Pig Farm.

Die Strände sind durch Lebensretter im Sommer bewacht und viele sportliche Aktivitäten kommen das ganze Jahr über wegen Penguin der zentralen Lage.
Unsere Standard-Rate ist $ 140 pro Nacht für die ersten zwei Personen und $ 30 für zusätzliche Personen pro Nacht. ($ 20, falls auf Wochenpreis)

Beautiful beach side location

Sunrise at Penguin is situated in a fantastic location opposite the beach and a short walk into the main town centre. The cottage has been tastefully restored, was very clean and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

Superb property and location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property has been meticulously renovated, furnished and beautifully styled in such a way to maximise comfort and relaxation. The property is ideally situated opposite the water and waking up to those beautiful sunrises was fabulous. It's a fantastic home in which to stay and also from which to explore the fabulous North West of Tasmania. We plan to return for a longer stay next time!!

Fantastic getaway

We had a fantastic stay at Terrys house, we look forward to staying again. The house has a sea view and is really well appointed. It is very comfortable and has everything you need. One of the Best

We've stayed in many rental homes and I can honestly say that few are as good as Sunrise at Penguin. You walk in the door and it feels like home, not like just another rental. Comfortable, well equipped and well placed for wandering into Penguin, the nicest town on the North Coast

Little Gem in Penguin TAS

Loved it! Contactless check in was a breeze thanks to awesome communication with Terry. He came to welcome us and have a chat which was really nice. View from the lounge room was 2nd to none. Bed was comfy, very comfortable house to stay. Only wish we could have stayed longer.

The only bad thing about this stay was that I'd only booked one night! Everything about this accommodation was top notch, the decor, the quantity linen, the extra touches, the fantastic view, the comfy bed & super friendly host. Perfect coastal home

This beautiful coastal home exceeded our expectations. Beautifully decorated and fully equipped with everything needed for a night, a week or a month's visit...we could've stayed forever. We loved sitting on the front porch looking at the spectacular view Bass Strait We took a short and scenic walk into the town where we ate at Penguin Beer. The next day we had coffee and lunch in town and explored the shops. Our host Terry was so kind and helpful. Our only regret is that we didn't plan to stay longer here. Gorgeous holiday home with a view to match!

We left Terry's beautiful home yesterday morning. I could not fault it - he has thought of everything. The clothes airer in particular was most welcome! The kitchen was well set up, including complimentary pantry items. The location is perfect for exploring the North West. As it was the low season, we did not expect to see any penguins so we were pleasantly surprised to see a few adult penguins scurrying up the beach directly opposite the house. We all enjoyed watching the sun rise and set each day - the table and chairs out the front of the property are well positioned to do just that. Hopefully we will be able to return on our next visit to Tasmania.

How wonderful it was to host a Queensland couple at this time of the year who wanted to experience Tasmania at its coldest while exploring our world famous coastal features and hinterland. Kaylene and her husband brought their 4 year old child with them who had a full queen size bed to herself - to her great delight. This very friendly family left the house in the very tidy state they found it and are most welcome whenever back in Tasmania.

We arrived to a very nice heated house which was spotless and very welcoming. Once unpack the owner , Terry , arrived to great us and make sure very thing was ok. Very friendly and helpful owner. The house has beach front views and is very roomy with everything we needed for our 4 night stay. It is a 5 minute walk to the shops which has an IGA , bakery, coffeehouse, information shop ,several restaurants and a pub. We had a meal at the pub , great atmosphere and food. Penguin is a great location for day trips to Stanley and the north west part of Tasmania. It is a 30 minute drive to Devonport to catch the Spirit of Tasmania. The owner ,Terry , made our last 4 days in Tasmania perfect with not only his charming house but also his friendly nature. Will be coming back to stay at “ sunrise at penguin “ again Thank you Terry

It was a pleasure to have Peter and his wife stay with us at Sunrise at Penguin for 4 days earlier this month. Taking advantage of Penguin's central location on the NW Coast they were able to see many different tourist sights including historic Stanley plus enjoy the friendly beach town of Penguin with the ocean straight across the road. Gorgeous house in a beautiful location, with outstanding hosts

I cannot speak too highly of Sunrise at Penguin. Right from day 1 when I booked the property, Terry was so helpful and sent great information about the locality. He maintained good communication in the weeks ahead of our arrival, and was available if we needed him to attend to anything once we were in the house. Not that he needed to do much - when we arrived, the house was prepared with everything we needed, and far more than we expected. There is no scrimping on quality at Sunrise at Penguin: the furniture was very comfortable; the kitchen well-stocked; and the cooking equipment of excellent standard. The laundry, too, was well-equipped. The decor was just delightful, with quirky penguins fashioned creatively from various materials placed around the house, which added to the beautiful seaside atmosphere, along with the tasteful paintings. There were even fresh flowers in the lounge, and fruit left for us in the kitchen. The view was just incredible, and the beach is literally over the road. We did not want to leave: Sunrise at Penguin is definitely a place we will return to when we can get back to Tasmania.

Gail and her daughter Belinda were a pleasure to meet, staying for 5 nights so as to see as much as possible of the NW Coast before returning via the Spirit boat to Melbourne and Canberra. Sunrise Serenity

This house was lovely. It had everything we needed. It had wonderful views and was close to all the amenities. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

These lovely two ladies of the same name , Angela, were a pleasure to meet and have as guests at our Sunrise at Penguin BnB. Leaving the house as neat and tidy as they found it was appreciated and are welcome back any day.

Great to have a mother and daughter stay and rekindle lost memories of their life in Tasmania. Christine brought her mother ( in her 80's) down from Syndey to catch up with lost freinds and stayed with us at Sunrise at Penguin before heading to see these friends on the West Coast. This super friendly couple are welcome back anytime.

Excellent property Wonderful host

Thanks to Terry for being a great host. The house was wonderful and perfectly situated, we just wish we could’ve stayed longer. We will definitely be back for a longer stay.

Thank you for staying with us at Sunrise at Penguin and so pleased you and the family enjoyed your time on the NW Coast. You obviously spent plenty of time on the beach out the front of the house and when leaving you left the house in a very tidy state was appreciated.

Lovely stay.

Beautiful location and lovely house. Very close to the beach and close walking distance to the cafes and restaurants. I would highly recommend staying at Sunrise at Penguin.
