Waverley ist ein schönes Landhaus mit zwei Schlafzimmern (eines mit einem Doppelbett und das andere mit einem König, der in zwei Einzelbetten aufgeteilt werden kann) und zwei Bädern.

Great stay in Berry

We loved staying at Waverley Cottage, such a great location just outside Berry and close to the beach. Jane was a wonderful host, making our stay memorable. Our 4yo had a ball feeding the animals, watching the wildlife and stargazing.

What a wonderful place. Beautifully appointed and comfortable in every way. Anna is a lovely person and a terrific host. And we adored the cows and the resident friendly dog. Would love to let the big house for a special occasion one day...It’s was a perfect stay. We’ll definitely be back.

Perfect mix of country and coast.

Waverly cottage on Bundara Farm is a little gem tucked into the hills only minutes from Berry and a 5-10 minute drive from some of the most beautiful coastline anywhere in the world. We found the cottage to be well maintained and clean. The only issue for us was that the outdoor patio was not clean enough for us to enjoy sitting outside. Bird droppings on the pavers and chairs. I would have happily hosed the area but there was no hose that i could find.

Peaceful stylish country cottage

Thank you Jane and Mark for the welcome note and bar of chocolates on the dining table. We were delighted by the fresh garden roses, hydrangeas, mint and leafy greens in various rooms - great touch!At check-in we were a little confused because the email received the day before mentioned Bellevue cottage. Easy fix we drove a little further down and found the cottage we booked.We enjoyed a quiet stay at the Waverley cottage. A relaxing atmosphere to unwind as a family, play games (brang them e.g. bananagrams, uno) and relaxed with a book (books also available around the cottage). Otherwise, it’s conveniently located, a quick drive into Berry town centre or Seven Mile beach. Jane recommended Shaolhaven Heads where dogs are allowed on or off leash - thank you. Our girls are young so on our 2nd day we visited Callala Bay beach which is great for young families and dog friendly.We made breakfast daily in the cottage with essential cookware, utensils, crockery, mugs and glasses provided. Other times we ate out for lunch and had takeaways for dinner. Easys and Queen St Cafe were our favourites. Our girls were a little disappointed we didn’t see the miniature cows or interact with the mini horses. Separately, listing needs to be updated as there’s no hot tub which we didn’t mind but had packed a separate swim suit for that so a little disappointed.All in all it was a lovely stay.

Quiet country weekend

If you’re looking to escape the hustle and bustle for a quiet weekend away in the country, then this is your spot! Lots of open space where the 2 resident cows roam (and yes you can feed/pet them), a fireplace for those cool winter evenings, the town of Berry just a short 5 min drive away. There are the local markets on some sundays, and tons of cafes and shops. Or you can wander the property with your dog (yes dog friendly accommodation) and take in the beautiful gardens and stunning homestead. We will definitely be back for our next quiet little getaway.

Relaxing stay in Berry

We absolutely loved our stay at Bundara Farm, Waverley Cottage. The location couldn’t have been any better with it being close to the main township of Berry and close to the beach. We loved everything about the cottage from the decor to the comfortable beds plus that we could have our dog with us. Our boys loved playing in the grounds of the property and fell in love with the 2 very friendly cows Comet and Teddy. Anna could not have been any more welcoming and helpful, taking the time to show us all of the buildings, telling us her story so far with the property, talking to our boys about the cows and showing them how to feed them. Our boys loved Skye the border collie and they asked probably way too many questions which Anna and Greg happily took the time to answer. Highly recommend Bundara Farm

Peaceful getaway - just perfect

I do an annual mini-getaway with my teenage daughter and we found this gorgeous property in Berry. It was exactly what we wanted to be able to spend time sight-seeing & checking out the stores in the area and then be able to relax together with everything we needed in a home away from home.

Quiet retreat

Enjoyed the peace and quiet - yet close to beaches and restaurants. We have 2 small dogs and safe for them to run around. The 2 cows were very friendly and liked to be scratched on the head - I was holding one of our small dogs and the cow gave her a big lick across her face.

Perfect

Such a beautiful property, quiet and serene, 3mins to Berry, 5mins to Gerroa beach and 10mins to Shoalhaven and Gerringong. The cottage is freshly renovated and has everything you need. We took 2 small kids and they had a ball, especially feeding the cows. Greg and Anna were amazing hosts and really helpful with local tips but also great conversations. Would love to return one day.

Just what was needed!

It was a very spontaneous decision to get away for the weekend that lead us to Bundara farm and their beautiful Waverley Cottage. The place was very well equipped, quaint and perfect for my young family. The hosts we lovely and engaged my little ones in feeding the local cows and also offering a radio flyer trolley which my kids loved pulling each other up and down the driveway and collecting stick with. The property was quiet and peaceful with beautiful natural outlook to a tree lined field. We left feeling refreshed and energized and the kids had a ball. Definitely will be back.

Unexpectedly lovely

We arrived at our cottage and were pleasantly surprised. The photos on the site do not do it justice. New managers have made improvements and it is a lovely 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom cottage, larger than expected. It is tucked away at the back of the property with a view of the dam from the veranda, where we sat, drank wine and soaked up the winter sunshine. We took our dogs, that were free to roam around the cottage garden and nearby paddock. Centrally located, we timed 4 min to Berry centre and similar to the beach. Loved it and will probably stay again soon. :)

We have owned Bundara Farm for a year now, having moved from Sydney to enjoy the quieter life in Berry.
We love our little farm - it's beautiful and green and peaceful. We're surrounded by bird life and native animals, as well as our farmyard friends - Galloway cows, two mini ponies and chickens.
We enjoy hosting our guests and do our best to ensure an enjoyable stay.

Bundara Farm is in the most ideal location. In a quiet country lane, but only 4 minutes drive to historic Berry town, where you can enjoy the local cafes, shops and restaurants. 4 minutes in the other direction takes you to Seven Mile Beach and a little further down the road to Gerroa and Gerringong.
So, we enjoy the best of both worlds - country and coast!
