We loved walking to the awesome fireworks show and spent quality family time playing pool. A comfortable stay with everything we needed.

Great Cabin home!

Great time at this stay. The place was clean and organized nicely. We had minor maintenance issues initially but was quick to be fixed. I would definitely book again.

Great time in a great space!

The home was clean and spacious - and fun! The garage was like a mini-arcade. Comfy beds, jacuzzi, good location between the Village and the Lake… we loved this property.

Birthday getaway

We celebrated my sons 10th birthday here, it our first time at Big Bear. Our cabin/home was comfortable, clean and provided enough entertainment for the kids during the times we weren’t at the lake. We are already coordinating schedules to come back for another visit.

Our Stay

The property was wonderful. The room set ups were perfect and we loved the fireplace and hot tub. The only issue was we could not get the outdoor BBQ gas grill to work, so we had to cook our burgers in the kitchen. Otherwise all was great.

Family Getaway

The check in was a breeze. The location was centralized . The house is located minutes away from the village, park and lake. The house was nice, neat and well organized. It was a great getaway for our family to unplug and relax from the daily hustle and grind.

Perfect family place for R&R after the slopes

I stayed at this home for a couple nights with my 7 year old son. We wanted a place where we could relax and have fun after skiing and snowboarding all day. This place did not disappoint. We used the hot tub repeatedly and played pool, foosball and even a couple rounds of bingo. The kitchen had all the appliances and utensils we needed to cook a couple nice meals. Each morning, we drove over to Snow Summit which took about 3 minutes. We hardly spent any time on screens because there were so much to do and had an amazing quality father/son trip. I plan to return next season with the whole family.

Nice, clean cabin

The cabin is also in a central location. Check in was a piece of cake with a couple friendly reminders from the property manager. The only downfall was that the garage heater did not work as well as the gas fireplace. Everything was ready to go when we arrived and we enjoyed our stay. The property manager’s office provided great customer service which is something that is often lacked these days from many companies.

Great getaway

This was just perfect! Exactly what we needed. My family of 5 plus the dog had more than enough space to have a nice relaxing long weekend. Close to all activities. The only reason I wouldn’t give more than 5 stars is the cleaning check list wasn’t accurate. There was garbage, a dirty pan in the oven, the floors were not clean but all of that was checked and inspected. We left it cleaner than we found it. But overall we would definitely recommend this rental!

HOW does this property have an exceptional rating??????

Don't be fooled - this place is dingy, filthy, covered in ants, and pretty much everything is broken. Here's a list of all the disappointments Broken dryer (didn't heat) Broken Foosball table Deadbolts don't lock properly Dirty backyard furniture Garage floor (what they advertise as a game room) was absolutely filthy No coffee or filters provided No tissues Ants everywhere Filthy rugs Part of couch had no cushions and they try to disguise it with a bunch of old throw pillows Cords everywhere (not safe for kids) Broken games Broken clocks Broken fireplace Dead plants in all the planters Rotting backyard and patio furniture Dingy stained bedspreads And the kicker is that you have to go to the property management office to even begin the check in process. (And they're happy to charge you an arm and a leg for a late check out.) Find another place to stay!

As described but poor manager

Great spot, just as described and we all had fun, once we were allowed in. With a 4pm check in and a 10 am check out your time is limited enough but we arrived at 2:30 and were told the house was not ready yet, needing to be cleaned. Being that we were at the front door with no one in sight for the next 2 hours - that was not true. The worst part was that they never contacted us as promised with the check in code at 4 pm. After 2 messages (to a answering machine) the code arrived WELL after our check in time, NO apologies. We were also at that point promised a 11 am check out (only after my suggestion since we were cheated out of our paid for time). Bright and early they 'managed' to send a message saying we needed to vacate by 10 am. We love going up to the mountains but I definitely will never rent another home managed by Big Bear Vacations.

Everything was great as soon as we walked in. Very clean, and lots of space for everyone in the group. Along with lots of things to do such as pool, a hot tub, and arcade games. Really a fantastic weekend.

Great house with lots to do and near everything

Very spacious house! My family of 7 plus our dog enjoyed a great weekend. There was plenty to do in the house with the game room, board games, and TV. The house is also located right in the middle of everything so both the grocery store and village were nearby. The house is also located right near a dog park so our pup was quite pleased with a daily walk down to the park

Amazing

The house was beyond what we expected. We enjoyed our stay & they were great communicating with us. Would definitely stay here again.

Weekend at KitKats

Enjoyed the home. Close to restaurants & lakeshore. Clean & comfortable. Heater in game area didn’t work and blinds in master need replacing; few door wouldn’t close without force. Otherwise, all was good.

Nice house, good location & good price. Need instructions for TVs. Back yard was dirty.

Previous renters left bear bottles in a trash can in the garage half full.

Good Neighbor Policy enforced at all times. Removing trash and Wash Dishes. No Smoking, Parties, Events, Loud Music, Street Parking, or Over Occupancy Allowed. Fines/Evictions possible by both Code Enforcement and Big Bear Vacations.

Check-in after 4:00 pm - Check-out before 10:00 am
No Early Arrival/Late Departure During Peak Seasons or Holidays.

There is No Street Parking Allowed in Big Bear- Make Every Attempt to Get Cars Off the Street for Snowplows. November thru April the law requires snow chains in your cars.

Pet Policy-Pet Friendly Homes Only-$40/Pet/Night
Pets must be acknowledged and may not be left unattended in the home. Owners must clean up after pets; subject to added cleaning fees for violations.

All homes include clean linens, and fresh bath towels for the occupancy. A kitchen with basic cookware and small starter amount of dish soap, toilet paper, and trash bags will be supplied. Paper towels, coffee filters/coffee, specialty appliances, nor condiments/spices/oils are supplied.

No Pay-Per-View Ordering in any homes.

No refunds/credits for cancellations or trip interruptions due to acts of nature, (especially snow, fire, power outages) weather, road conditions, mechanical or electrical failures, spa malfunctions, or other equipment factors beyond our control.

This is a forested mountain community home to critters- animals or insects you may encounter are spiders, moths, flies, squirrels, gophers, bears, coyotes, burro, bear, bats, etc. Our team inspects prior to arrival but cannot guarantee the home will be free of these forest critters.

We reserve the right to offer a comparable property or issue a full refund if circumstances arise that are beyond our control and your property is made unavailable for any reason.
