We were expecting this review as we were very rudely called and told to give a refund or we would receive a bad review in which advised we weren't going to comply with. 1- The BBQ- We can't understand how you claim that you couldn't use it as it had been used from your stay. We know the BBQ was in good working order because the guests before you used it and advised me of a loose screw which I fixed when cleaning it for you. 2- There are locks on both the toilet doors. The downstairs one, the lock had come loose which we weren't aware of until will got your call on checkout yelling down the phone. When we went to inspect after your stay we fixed it within 2 minutes. If it was such a deal-breaker for you, enough to ruin your entire stay we can't understand why you didn't give us a call during we could have popped around and fixed it in minutes. The doors that open to the bathroom, are from the bedrooms (not the hall), they don't have locks on them but you can clearly hear the shower running whilst in the rooms and have never had anyone raise it as an issue. However, once again if it was affecting your stay we could have added some privacy locks for you. 3. We don't wish to host you again because after we inspected the home the pungent smell from the food you cooked took us 2x cleans, we had to completely air out the home and the lovely guests after you commented on the smell. 4. You didn't even make your final payment, we had to request it from your bond. 5. You claimed that we didn't provide you any information on the key collection when all the information in the message thread. In the future, if you don't feel like you've received value for money, we suggest you speak with some respect and don't start the conversation with blackmail. We take all feedback on board and welcome it, we do feel your concern around a lock from the bedroom to the bathroom could be beneficial. However, can not see how this can discard all the other amazing features of this home to ruin an entire stay.
