Excellent stay

This house is in a wonderful location and we had such a fantastic week. Kevin was so accommodating. We would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful location and house with everything that you need but close to lots of great things to do.

Another week in paradise

We have just returned from another week in paradise. Valley View Retreat is our absolute favourite place to relax and unwind. The views are simply breathtaking and we are always so rested and recharged after our stay. House is always immaculate and you has everything you need!

Thankyou Kevin for letting us stay at your great home on the hill overlooking the valley. Wallabies came for a visit. The accommodation is close to surrounding towns. Not once could we complain about the food . Thank you again for your hospitality.

Lovely start to retirement...

A serene environment and a very comfortable cottage which suited all our needs. We spent a week at this gem in the countryside. We used it as a base to visit local towns like Bodalla, Narooma, Moruya, Tilba, Tuross Heads and enjoyed the local golf courses. Dealing with Kevin was super efficient. Looking forward to staying again.

Another great stay at Valley View Retreat

This was our fourth stay in this beautiful retreat as we are addicted to the views and serenity! Accommodation has everything you need and the fully equipped kitchen provides plenty of space for preparing and cooking meals. although the tv aerial doesn’t work well so tv reception can be frustrating

Lovely retreat, close to everything you need

We had a lovely time, so quiet and peaceful just outside of Bodalla, but close enough to nearby towns and beaches to be convenient. The house and property were really well kept and a perfect size for our family of 4.

Very comfortable and relaxing. Beautiful valley outlook close to Bodalla, Moruya and Narooma. Good base for visiting local attractions. Good access to Tuross River for kayaking/fishing.

Beautiful

Everything about the house was perfect and exactly as advertised. Extremely clean with convenient kitchen. Location is wonderful- feels remote but so close to some wonderful little towns. We enjoyed afternoons on the deck watching the sun set.

Another week in paradise

We’ve just returned home from another beautiful week staying at this property. Such a hidden treasure that has really become a favourite for our family. We love having the beaches and shops within reasonable distance to the accommodation, whilst being able to completely escape the ‘hustle and bustle’ and enjoy the surrounding nature and breathtaking views. Plenty of room for the kids to run around and play
 we’re already planning trip number 3! Thank you Kevin and Anne, you’re always such wonderful hosts and the property is immaculate! Have a wonderful 2023.

Wonderful! Sunning location!

We had the best time staying at the place. The house was exceptionally clean upon arrival. We had the best time here as a family of six. The location was perfect. Close enough to the beaches, but nice and quiet away from the hustle and bustle. The view was spectacular. We made many fond memories on our time away and greatly enjoyed our stay.

Slice of Paradise

This morning we checked out of this beautiful slice of paradise after staying 6 nights. Wow. What an absolute gem this place is!! Communication with the owners was excellent and they happened to be there to greet us as we arrived. They were so warm and kind and made us feel very welcome. The house was lovely and had everything we needed - it was neat, tidy, cosy and really felt like our little home away from home. The property itself was just breathtaking. No photos could do the views of the valley below justice. The morning cuppa’s out on the deck were a delight and watching the sun go down of an evening was just as special. We also liked being fairly central to visiting many neighbouring coastal towns such as Moruya, Tuross Heads, Narooma and Tilba. Thank you so much Kevin and Anne - we will most definitely be returning! Wishing you a happy new year :-)

Riverside getaway

Absolutely loved this little slice of country paradise with indoor fireplace, native wildlife, riverside views and country charm. In the centre of dairy country you are spoilt for cheese tastings, cute country towns with unique shopping plus it's also in close proximity to the magnificent South Coast beaches. we really didn't want to leave.

A magical hideaway close to the beaches

This is a really lovely escape from the ratrace. The views over the valley to the hills are breathtaking and it's so QUIET. We were in heaven for the two weeks we spent here. Coming back to the city was a rude shock! The lovely little town of Bodalla is just a few minutes drive away and had all the basics we needed. For a big shop, Narooma was only 20 mins away with a huge new Woolies that had everything. Our favourite local beach was Potato Point, which was a 12 minute pretty drive through the national park, but you are spoilt for choice in this part of the world. The house is comfortable and beautifully clean. Kevin and his wife are the best hosts, responsive when you need them, but totally respectful of your privacy. They don't live onsite so you can pretend for a short while that this amazing property is your own. I can't recommend it highly enough- we are already planning our next trip. Thanks Kevin!

Peaceful and Very Clean and Nice Place

We really appreciated the cleanliness of the property and all of the utensils and cupboards. Usually you feel that you need to wash everything before using it, but at Kevin's place everything was so clean and in good condition. A great location with nice bushwalking and not to far from beaches or town. Highly Recommend!
