'Sunny Delight' ist ein geräumiges Ferienhaus direkt am Meer in Kill Devil Hills. This is just what we needed! Big house with pool and hot tub right off the beach. Plenty of parking. The only issue was the WiFi password wasn’t listed so make sure you get that before you arrive.

Each guest had our own bathroom.- Provided a collapsable dog water bowl!- Fairly clean.- Provided alot of amenities. A few issues- Two roaches in living spaces, one alive ,one dead.- Draining issues in plumbing.- Had a bit of an issue with checking in. For some reason realty company wanted to send us a video on how to get in versus simply reseting the door's code.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our close friends and us (with many children) stayed at the Sunny Delight! We had the best time, plenty of space and enjoyed the outdoors set up as well. The pool was a great size with more than enough space to chill around it and hang out. We did smores on the fire pit and used the grill to cook. Inside we were about to hang out in the “pool table” room after the little kids were asleep upstairs to keep from waking anyone up! We were close to our favorite restaurants and literally seconds away from Target! Each room had its own bathroom and plenty of space for pack and plays to be set up. Looking for a good ole beach house for a big group this is the winner!

Perfect OBX vacation house!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family had a wonderful time at Sunny Delight. The house was in a perfect location, very close to the beach and eateries. It was very clean and the layout was perfect for gathering comfortably in the kitchen/dining room/living room. The private backyard was also well laid out for swimming, game playing, bbqing, and sunbathing. The outside bathroom and shower were an added bonus. Almost every bedroom has its own bathroom and TV. They are large and roomy. The kitchen is well stocked too (keurig coffee machine, blender, coffee pots, etc.). Every member of our family had a great time (7 mos old to 95 years old). Finally, Beach Realty management a great job before we arrived and then during our stay- very responsive and gave us a wealth of informationabiut the area. Thank you for a great vacation!

Perfect when it comes to space and location.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Sunny Delight is perfect in size and location. The house had so many maintenance issues, I stopped reporting them.- Ice maker on main refrigerator door was broke and we had to keep a beach towel under it at all times (this was reported and never fixed)- AC unit was dripping water- The refrigerator on the lowest level would not keep our items cool. Had to move items to keep them from spoiling (this was reported and never fixed)- The hot tub has seen better days. Jets are in rough shape.- The hinge on the door to the pool fell off and we had to prop it with a chair in order to sleep at night because it caused a loud noise.- One of the kitchen cabinet doors fell off and my husband fixed it-The DW was broke when we arrived and they did come and fix it.The house needs some TLC when it comes to maintenance and upkeep. I would not rent the place again.

The place was great. Lost and found process horrible.

We had a fantastic time at the house. Great house for a family weekend or friends. The property own a ton of houses so to try to get help recovering an item after you left is impossible. I left my Apple Watch on the night stand and when you call they just say fill out a lost and found report. I said no one can just go get it for me? She said they could not and house keeping needs to do it. It was a $500 watch. Yes, my fault completely but spending that much on a house I expect a little better customer service. I even offered to pay $100. Wouldn’t be surprised if someone has a nice new watch now because it’s been a week and still nothing back from the company.

Big House Nice Location Some Issues

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was a big house 8 big bedrooms lots of space for your family to stretch out. Swimming pool wasn't available (Early May) House wasn't as clean as it should have been to rent, had to wipe down kitchen counters toilet seats and fridge doors. Had some issues with loose toilet seats, damaged furniture, leaking fridge (water on floor) and upstairs fridge not cooling. Issues were called in and repaired but took away from some of my vacation time. I would recommend this property if it was cared for better.

Great location, run down house

The following two issues from the property put a damper on our vacation. —No hot water - the hot water stopped working not even halfway into our stay. The water heater had to be replaced and caused disruption to our schedule. —Dryer had no heat - we brought this to management’s attention and by the time we left and did not appear that any repairs were made.

great 4 story house!

A pleasant place to stay

House is very clean and have plenty of kitchen cookware and utensils. Enough spaces for 3-4 families with pets. Property management is very professional, helpful and friendly. The instructions for house information and check-in check-out are very clear and helpful, which made the whole process very easy and convenient. Great location to access to the beach and grocery store and restaurants. Highly recommended!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Sunny Delight is huge. There is ample space for everyone to have their own place. It is a quick walk to the beach access. It needs some updates. The carpet needs replaced and the kitchen needs new pots and pans. If you want a house to fit your big family, this is it.

Perfect for us

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were 4 couples and 2 teenagers and dogs, and the place was perfect for us. It was clean, had plenty of dishes/glasses/cooking utensils, handy beach access, and a nice layout. The home could easily accommodate many more folks than we had. The furnishings are not fancy, but perfect for the beach. Enjoyed the restaurant a block away. We had no interaction with the owner or manager during our stay, because we didn't need a thing. Thanks for a great visit.
