Casa Pacifica - Paradies am Strand

Dies ist einer der friedlichsten Orte, die Sie jemals in Ihrem Leben sehen werden. Das Anwesen befindet sich in einem 3 Hektar großen, parkähnlichen, gepflegten Garten direkt am Pazifik, der Ihnen den Atem rauben wird. Der Vorgarten führt zu kilometerlangen unberührten Stränden so gut wie für sich allein.

Sie können direkt vor der Tür surfen, aber ich bevorzuge die Weltklasse-Pausen innerhalb weniger Autominuten, einschließlich des Booms, oder einen kurzen Spaziergang zur Nahualapa-Bucht.

Einer der besten Teile des Hauses ist die riesige, abgeschirmte Veranda mit einem Esszimmer und einem großen Bereich zum Entspannen ohne Insekten. Wir haben auch eine riesige, 12 x 10 m große, schattige Terrasse mit Platz für alle, die sich in einer Hängematte entspannen möchten, und einen schönen Grill im Nica-Stil für Ihren frischen Fang des Tages. Auf dem Rückweg erwartet Sie eine fantastische Außendusche. Spülen Sie sich nach einem Bad im Meer ab, kühlen Sie sich mit einer Dusche in der Nachmittagssonne ab oder reinigen Sie sich nach dem Aufstieg auf einen der vielen Vulkane im Schatten eines wunderschönen 200 Jahre alten Guanacaste-Baumes. Das Haus selbst besteht aus 2 Schlafzimmern - eines mit einem Queensize-Bett, das andere mit 3 Einzelbetten. Wir haben ein großes Wohnzimmer und es gibt eine schöne Innenküche mit einem großen Kühlschrank und sogar eine Waschmaschine! Alle Zimmer haben Deckenventilatoren.

Dieser Ort ist definitiv weit weg von den Sorgen der Welt, aber Sie können leicht zu Fuß zu 2 Gringo-Restaurants, die schöne Menüs und kostenloses WLAN haben. Wenn Sie ein Auto haben (was sehr zu empfehlen ist, aber nicht unbedingt erforderlich), sind Sie nur eine kurze Autofahrt von einer Handvoll anderer großartiger Orte in der Nähe und von Gringo-Besitzern entfernt.

Wenn Sie irgendwelche Aktivitäten vorhaben, lassen Sie mich wissen, dass ich Sie mit Wandern auf Vulkanen, Radfahren, Reiten, Kajakfahren auf der Flussmündung des Padre Ramos (mein persönlicher Favorit), Surfstunden, Yoga-Kursen oder allem anderen, was Sie interessiert, ausrüsten kann.

Great Location Right on the Beach

The property was a little hard to find so be sure to get accurate directions. Once we arrived at the house we were welcomed by Fernando and shown around the place. He doesn't speak any English but luckily I had my local guide with me to give me the basics.. The property is very remote but I felt 100% safe. I walked on the beach for miles and didn't see very many people. It is a beautiful beach. The house itself is very rustic. The furniture is very old and worn out but still usable. The kitchen was functional and we had purified water to drink provided. There is a washing machine too. We had a slight problem with water one day but that was quickly taken care of for us. I have to say that I was very unhappy with the outdoor shower. The water pressure is terrible and the head is clogged so the water doesn't shoot out straight but in all kinds of different directions. Please note I'm very picky about showers. Even though it wasn't great, it still worked. I did love the large screened in area but there are no chairs or anything to sit on. So we brought a couple rocking chairs outside and enjoyed the quiet. There is NO Wi-fi, TV or radio. The ceiling fans didn't work so the house was very very hot. So if you are looking for a rustic, out-of-the-way place then this property would be perfect. The people are friendly and the beach is your own private beach.

Fabulous property, rustic house, poor furnishings

First of all, this is a fabulous piece of property with a million dollar setting on the Pacific Ocean and an almost deserted stretch of beach. The groundskeeper, Fernando, is friendly and helpful (but unilingual Spanish). The large screened-in porch is a fantastic place to sit and admire the view and enjoy the ocean breezes. Normally, I'm sure it's very restful, but unfortunately during our three-week stay, the neighbors were having a pool and stone terrace installed so the soothing sound of the ocean waves competed with the unsoothing sounds of construction, including an electric stone saw, from about 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. The house itself is serviceable as long as you don't have high expectations and are okay with no hot water and an outdoor shower. The beds and dressers are fine, although the double bed is sagging a bit in the middle. However, the furnishings consist only of a few tables, four rocking chairs, four plastic patio chairs (not loungers) and two barstools made for very tall people with very small bums. It seems to me it would be an easy and cheap upgrade to include a few patio loungers in the porch and a sofa (even a patio sofa with a cushion would be an upgrade) inside. With the current furniture setup, I can't recommend Casa Pacifica for longer-term stays - the seating is just too limited and uncomfortable. Which is a shame, because otherwise this is a superb place to get away from civilization for a while.

Stunning beach, quaint house.

We knew it was going to be a place to get away from it all. We were a little surprised that the caretaker was just outside our window sleeping in the hammock during most of our stay. He did save the day when the water suddenly stopped. The road in was gravel, may need a 4 wheel drive vehicle, we barely survived with a two. Best to buy groceries in Chinendega, unless you plan to subsist on beer! It was great to have laundry and a kitchen. The outdoor, cold shower took a little getting use to. The cold part was nice! The beach was perfect and the screened porch area was nice for playing games late into the night. In the picture the yard looks like grass but it was more a mix of underbrush and leaves.

Loved it!

This property was beautiful, we absolutely loved it. It is situated on a gorgeous, wide open beach. Amazing sunsets every night. Lots of land for my dog to run, and it felt very private. Land is well maintained by caretaker and guard, Fernando, who was a pleasure to have there. The house was comfortable and had what we needed. Of course, the outdoor shower was a special treat, in addition to the large screened in patio. There is also a nice outdoor grill we used often. We stayed approx. three weeks so property management company sent clean sheets and towels and checked in on us. They even escorted us there when we arrived, to be sure we found it. Majorie at the property management company helped me with whatever I needed and was excellent. Also, Borris from property management company lent us his motorcycle helmet when he saw we were missing one. Steve, the owner, recommended some great places to see, our favorite was kayaking the Estero Padre Ramos. There were lots of things to do in this area. I would definately return to this property.

4 of us decided to leave our Spanish school in Leon and spend a week at this house. We couldn't have had a better time. We walked to the surf breaks at Nahualapa daily, then spent the afternoons being lazy at the house and cooking dinner on the awesome BBQ. The screened porch was where we spent most of our time and we couldn't be happier. Thanks!!

Some things in life are just obvious, buying this property was one of them. Sometimes you come across a truly special place and for me, this is that place. I was living in San Juan Del Sur and as a realtor at home, was interested in property options. After looking around there and being disappointed with the quality and price, I asked about the North of the country. I was told it is too under developed, that there is nothing there and that it might never turn into a hotspot like SJDS. I immediately decided this was the perfect place. I viewed the land and bought it that day. A few years later while camping on the land I met the neighbor who said he was interested in moving farther from the ocean, I knew I couldn't pass it up, so I purchased his house and land. We painstakingly renovated the property and we so excited to share it with others !

This property is perfect if you want to get back to basics, its very far away from the real world, although if you want it, its easy enough to obtain- My phone works perfectly for instance. Its just a really special thing to have an entire beach to yourself in such an idyllic place. Over the years we've found out about all the activities that are available. They are amazing, and they are not expensive or over run with tourists - There are almost no tourists at all! Come see this place, enjoy the gardens and the yard, pick mangos and limes, swim alone on the beach, cook up the days catch on the BBQ and feel Central American life the way it is really lived, far away from the tourist hang outs and hawkers.
