Nur einen kurzen Spaziergang vom Glebe Point Road - Blackwattle Bay Apartment in Cook Street, Glebe befindet. Es verfügt über WiFi und ist klimatisiert. Die Wohnung befindet sich in einem Sicherheitsgebäude mit Panorama Wasser und Blick auf die Stadt befindet. Das sonnige und geräumige Wohn-Esszimmer verfügt über einen Balkon mit Blick auf Blackwattle Bay, einen 42-Zoll-Flachbild-TV und DVD-und CD-Player. Die Wohnung verfügt über Holzböden und eine moderne Küche mit Edelstahl-Elektro-Herd, Mikrowelle, Geschirrspüler und Kühlschrank Schublade. Es gibt zwei Schlafzimmer (beide mit Doppelbetten) und ein renoviertes Badezimmer mit Badewanne. Es gibt ein zweites TV im Hauptschlafzimmer. Die Wäsche ist mit einer Waschmaschine, Trockner, Bügeleisen und Bügelbrett ausgestattet. Es gibt auch eine abschließbare Garage.

Die Wohnung befindet sich nur 2 Gehminuten zu den Restaurants Glebe Point Road, Geschäfte und Bus in die Stadt. Das kürzlich umgebaute alte Harold Park Tramsheds ist etwa 7 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt und bietet eine Reihe guter Restaurants. Die Wohnung liegt in der Nähe der Sydney Fish Markets und in dem Broadway Einkaufszentrum mit Supermärkten, Kinos und Videospeicher. Die Light Rail in das Casino, Darling Harbour und Sydney Terminal-Bahnhof ist fünf Minuten zu Fuß. Die Wohnung ist auch nur ein paar Minuten zu Fuß in die neue Blackwattle Bay Waterfront Park.

Nice apartment!

We enjoyed our time! The awesome view from the balcony, the comfortable bed, the washing machine ;)! But: The apartment wasn't very clean - and you have to get used to the 24 hours traffic noise (Anzac Bridge).

Location, location, location: Extraordinary view and wonderful neighborhood

The apartment was as described except for the view--no words could adequately convey how beautiful it is! The balcony overlooks the Blackwattle Harbor and, in the distance, is downtown Sydney. At night, the lights of the city lit up the eastern sky. We also saw a magnificent fireworks display.The birds in this area are, at least to an American, exotic. A number of lorikeets were in a tree two blocks from the apartment.The neighborhood was also wonderful. Two blocks away is Glebe St there are fresh produce markets, bakeries, small grocery stores, an array of restaurants, and a number of other kinds of shops. For this American who is used to the "WalMarts" and "Targets," it was such a treat to stroll down the street and pick up freshly baked bread and fresh fruit for breakfast. And the people were friendly and welcoming.The apartment is close enough to city center to easily go there to see the local sights or meet tour groups, but far enough to not feel touristy. We loved walking down the street and catching the ferry into the city. The ride takes about 15 minutes.The apartment was clean and spacious. There was plenty of dishware and even a sharp knife (we've stayed at many VRBOs and a sharp knife is often not available). The apartment has a dishwasher, washer, and dryer---lovely!We had very few questions since everything was spelled out so well ahead of time, but we had quick responses from the owner when we did.We would most definitely stay here again!

Fantastic apartment in a great location, close to public transport, shops and amenities.The apartment was very clean and had everything you could possibly need.The view was spectacular, especially the city night lights.Warren was an excellent host and nothing was too much trouble. Handy location for transport either by bus, rail or ferry to the city centre. Quiet and peaceful location and terrific view of the city skyline by night! Warren, the host, very hospitable and obliging with requests.

Great location and stunning view

The location on Cook St close to the variety of cafes and restaurants on Glebe Point Road and the short walk down to the Blackwattle Bay ferry wharf made the location ideal plus the added charm of the stunning view from the balcony.

Glorious Blackwattle Bay

Beautiful bay view from kitchen and lounge; lots of greenery and lovely birdsong; user-friendly kitchen with dishwasher, laundry; comfortable bedding; cosy lounge area; spacious bathroom/toilet. Easy bus ride or light rail access to Sydney spots. Near to the renowned Glebe Markets. Many eateries, shops, green grocers. The apartment is a fantastic retreat after the busyness and heat of a Sydney summer. At night, we did reluctantly used the lounge air conditioner to cool the bedrooms, as the summer heat made the rooms unbearably warm. Otherwise, when in the lounge or balcony, the breeze was great. Overall, we highly recommend the apartment. It felt like an oasis.

Warren is an extremely helpful host and his flat is ideally situated for public transport and shops in lovely Glebe. The bonus is the fabulous view across Blackwattle Bay to Pyrmont and the city. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Brilliant location

We loved our time in blackwattle bay. The location was fabulous, easy transport links, parks, the bay, shops and cafes. The view was wonderful and handed the added bonus of free fireworks most nights ( spectacular thunderstorms too) quite steep hill up from the bay and is on 4th floor, so you need to be happy to walk up those ( we were) would definitely use this as a base again.

We stayed in this apartment from the 1st to 4th of October 2023, we had rented for 14 nights but had to vacate after 3 nights when we got a more suitable accommodation, This property does not resemble the pictures posted on the Stayz platform, furniture is old and a musty smell in the apartment, the Table is old and stained, the windows rattle and bang at night with the wind, this it is an extremely old and dated apartment, it’s on the top floor 40 steps with no lift, I had to bleach 3 of the cups before we could use. They were brown and stained, the Bathroom window screwed open so it can't be closed. Owner/ Manager was not very helpful when contacted regarding issues. Pictures of all concerns were forwarded to him. But he was not interested in our concerns. We contacted Stayz and they said they only advertised the apartment on their platform and were not responsible for the condition of the rental. In our honest opinion it is not fit to be listed on Stayz/Vbro platform.

Great Views and Great Position!

Really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is in a great position with fantastic views of the city. Simple and comfortable. Great communication with the Property Manager who was very reasonable and genuinely happy to help wherever possible. Lots of great eateries within walking distance. Would definitely stay again.

Blackwattle Bay apartment is perfectly located for visiting family nearby. It’s well appointed with everything I needed. The view of the city is stunning. I’d sit and look at it all day if I could. My car didn’t fit in the garage ( the neighbors parked outside theirs, making it difficult to get into the corner garage), but I had no trouble finding street parking.

What a view

This apartment was perfect for our stay in Glebe. It is a basic unit that has everything you need including a washer and dryer which came in handy. It is centrally located and within walking distance of light rail and buses. The view out the balcony is spectacular. Thanks to Warren for being so accommodating and helpful.

Great location, great views

This apt is located in the suburb of Glebe which is very close and easily accessible by public transport to the CBD, Central Station, numerous shops, restaurants and many of Sydney's attractions. The apt was clean and quiet and has everything you will need for a comfortable visit. We found the furniture to be shabbier than pictured. The small dining room table top is stained and does not look clean after wiping it. The upholstery on one lounge room chair is also stained. The sheets were thin and scratchy and the bed pillows were thin and flat. It would not cost a lot of money to do a few upgrades and would really elevate this apt to a higher level in terms of comfort and asthetics.

The property is as advertised, with one exception- the view is even better than the photos! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back to Warren’s home if we return to Sydney
