This is a stunning cottage: everything is as described and even more: the owners Ken and Cristine were so helpful and gave really good recommendations for activities in the region. What is really relaxing is the stunning view on the hills around and the possibility of being so undisturbed.
We will come back and recommend to our Friends.

We are two married couples, who found Casa Della Stella to be the perfect location to wind down as well as experience much of what rural Italy has to offer, which is very fine indeed. Most mornings the only sounds were bees on the lavender and birds singing; the almost total absence of planes, cars and all but the occasional hay-making tractor was a delight.
The owner Ken is a delightful character, who was pleased to point us to well-stocked and specialist stores, enchanting towns and villages, and most importantly restaurants, some of which we would never have discovered unaided. The area doesn't see many tourists so we experienced rural Italy unsullied by touristic trappings. Our almost complete lack of Italian wasn't a problem; breaking the ice with a Buon giorno or Buona sera followed by pointing and the reading of labels proved to be adequate for communication, to the amusement of all involved. We picked up Bene, Arrivederci, Ciao, Per favore, Grazie, Si, No and Mi scusi along the way.
The accommodation is very clean and ample for two couples, with a well-appointed kitchen that we used most evenings. The pool is an essential feature. And the near-total absence of light pollution means the stars are a wonder to behold.
From our breakfast table we saw a considerable variety of the local wild life, all at a respectable distance so binoculars are a must: wild pigs, deer, foxes, buzzards, kestrels, hoopoes, swallows, swifts, martins, and warblers, fly catchers and finches in great variety.
Surrounding the casa are working farms with hay, wheat, sunflowers, olives, grapevines, fruit trees and kitchen gardens for the most part. There is no livestock apart from occasional chicken and tethered sheep so there are no farmyard odors to tolerate. The casa has a garden full of bay, lavender, rosemary, sage, olive trees, vines, artichokes and many shrubs and perennials that attract bees, butterflies and other insects, though not so many that we were bothered by them. In fact, we found their constant drone to be soothing.
Of special note in the area are San Severino and it's fabulos palazzo, the Sibillini Mountains, Tolentino, San Ginesio, Urbisaglia and especially a tiny restaurant about 40 minutes drive away in Castello di Vestignano, il Picciolo di Rame.
The beach is 40 or so minutes drive and we found to be most accessible towards the south at Cupra Marittima. The sand is super-fine and the beaches well organized.
We plan to return!
This property is great. We had a long drive with much traffic but it was worth it. This cottage is more than nice. The bedrooms are large with excellent wardrobes. The bathrooms, the kitchen, lounge It's been done with a lot of attention and everything is availlable to make your holiday as pleasant as possible.
The view is stunning, you can take your breakfast in the morning outside while you're enjoying the view. The pool is perfect with seats and umbrella's.
This was an excellent location, you can go to the beach, supermarkets are not far away and if you need advice you can ask Ken. He's very helpful in suggesting things to see and visit.
This is a perfect cottage with everything you need if you want to cook yourself and enjoy the pool but you're also not far away to enjoy the Italian food (we can recommend Le Logge at Urbisaglia).
A perfect place to enjoy Italy
A beautiful, well furnished and comfortable holiday cottage in Regnano. Well situated for Sibillini National Park with excellent walking and typical hill-top villages. Good restaurants in such villages as Urbisaglia.Supermarket close at hand in Tolentino with everything you would want. Peaceful, calm and with few tourists.
The owner on site is friendly and very helpful, with useful information on places to visit. The site is well maintained with very attractive gardens and excellent swimming pool.
Ideal holiday spot for two retired couples to indulge themselves in the beauties of Le Marche. With a car (essential) the property is easily accesible from Ancona airport and the coast.
We would recommend the property for its situation, for its comfort and for its helpful owner.
