This was our 2nd time staying here, and Jody and Mark are the kindest hosts. The location is quiet and peaceful surrounded by Oak trees. If you're visiting for wine tastings, the location is very central and close to wineries. The rooms and place are very clean and and well supplied. I would highly recommend this home.

Very enjoyable and relaxing stay

My wife and I, daughter, and two of her college friends (5 people total) really enjoyed our stay here. Jodi greeted us during our check-in and walked us through the house. Both Jodi and Mark were very gracious hosts, and we didn't have any complaints. The location is very close (within minutes) to a lot of the wineries we visited, and at night the place is very quiet and peaceful. We would highly recommend this location, and it was very spacious for 5 adults.

Great Quiet Spot off the Beaten Path

In short, this property is amazing! It was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway, just 20-30 minutes from the beach or Paso Robles. Our hosts were incredible and made sure to make our stay the best it could be and even provided us with some breakfast foods for our first morning. Highly recommend the stay, it may seem a little out of the way, but the truly wonderful and amazing hosts make it beyond worthwhile.

A Memorable Time

Everything about our stay was wonderful. Jody and Mark are some of most helpful and gracious hosts we've met. They made everything about our stay with elderly parents easy and comfortable. Jody was so welcoming and quick to respond to questions. She had fresh baked brownies waiting for us, and stocked the refrigerator with a few breakfast staples. Perfect location! Such a beautiful house tucked away in a relaxing, scenic setting. Lovely home

Jody and Mark were gracious hosts and they made us feel right at home. Special details were provided to us from walking us through the rental and showing us where everything was to making fresh homemade banana bread cupcakes! The rental unit was very comfortable with clean sheets, towels and all of the necessities needed in the kitchen and bathrooms. We had a wonderful staying at this lovely home for our son's CalPoly graduation. We highly recommend this rental to anyone who wants to stay at a serene and peaceful environment that feels like home.

Terrific, tranquil getaway for my family

Our family of 4 was looking for a nice, peaceful getaway spot to explore the central coast as well as the Paso Robles area... Jody & Markā€™s place was a perfect fit. Setback in the woods a bit, it offered just enough seclusion to be away from things but also close enough to get everywhere we wanted to go. Best VRBO Experience Ever

We arrived to discover this beautiful Vicortian home in a forest like setting and to our host Jody Landon greeting us at the front porch. The home and surrounding area was beautiful. We had several occasions to converse with Jody and her husband and found them to be incredibly nice. They were very accommodating and gracious. We loved this rental and only wished we could have stayed longer. Itā€™s just as beautiful as the pictures show and absolutely immaculate. So nice to be out in the peaceful countryside with gorgeous views, wildlife, and a million stars at night, yet only 20min from wineries, spas, and restaurants. The beds were comfortable, there was lots of room to relax and the small kitchen was very well stocked for breakfast! Jody and Mark couldnā€™t have been nicer - friendly and attentive to our needs, yet very respectful of privacy too. We couldnā€™t have asked for more. Weā€™d love to go back sometime.

Adorable

Our family had a really nice experience. It felt like we were staying in a remote tree house. Thereā€™s deer and peacocks roaming the property as you drive up the hill. We explored around the woods nearby (all on the owners property) and it felt like we were camping, but with all the hotel type amenities (hot water, kitchen, TV). It couldnā€™t have been more relaxing actually. It was so peaceful and quite. Loved it.

10 Star property!!!!

My husband and I just got back from staying two nights at this wonderful property in Templeton. The stay exceeded our expectations on so many levels! This apartment is absolutely adorable, comfortable, inviting, and stocked with whatever you might need. The communication from the booking thru the end of the stay was great and appropriate. I enjoyed getting a hand written welcome card with contact information in case we needed anything and to top it off, little mini cupcakes! Jody and Mark thouht of absolutely everything to make a guest feel totally at home. Stay at this property, you will not be disappointed.

This property is located in a gorgeous oak woodland area in the hills not far from town. The mist rolls in early in the mornings and the scene is magical. It was exactly what we were hoping for; peaceful, relaxing, comfortable & away from town & traffic noise. The variety of birds, including owls, along with deer wandering around the property made our stay that much more enjoyable.Jody and Mark are absolutely wonderful...the consummate hosts! You could not ask for nicer people. They are warm & engaging. We enjoyed our conversations with them immensely. We were shown around the property upon our arrival & provided with freshly baked muffins & brownies. There was also fruit, bagels, and a few other staples in the well-stocked kitchen. No details were overlooked. We had a fabulous 3-day stay here and we are already looking forward to staying here again!Thank you so much for your hospitality, funny stories and thoughtfulness, Jody and Mark!

We are empty nesters who love to share our beautiful property and community with others. One of us loves to cook, the other loves to eat. One loves to write and the other loves to read. We live in the house but it is entirely closed off from yours.

We purchased this property 34 years ago when our growing family needed some elbow room. With a deep respect for the land, we painstakingly designed a large house that we would share with hundreds of friends throughout the years. Now that the kids are gone, we have made some changes to the home so that we can let others enjoy part of the house with their privacy in mind, and the property as well. It is beautiful, covered with oak trees and frequently visited by wild turkeys and deer. It is a truly unique and peaceful place that I know you will not be disappointed in.

The central coast offers hiking, golfing, wine-tasting and we are literally 8 minutes from the 101 and Hwy 46 yet nestled in an oak forest on a beautiful hill. This place is unbelievable, clean and peaceful.

The peaceful setting is perfect for a relaxing night sleep yet it is very close to all of the fabulous places to enjoy in the Central Coast! We love our porch with its romantic chandeliers and rocking chairs. Stroll down the road and you're going to see several vineyards as well as wildlife.
