Wonderful relaxing apartment in an excellent location!

We love this wonderful apartment, so relaxing & perfectly located for us. It’s well equipped & has everything you need for a wonderful holiday. Aberrfraw is truly a beautiful place & the whole of Anglesey is so accessible. Priced so well too for an out of season break & Anglesey Holiday Lettings are very easy to deal with, highly recommend booking with them!

New Year break

We have stayed at this property 3 times now and it suits us very well. Perfect location for us and our 2 dogs being so close to such a beautiful beach. The flat is perfectly adequate, very clean, and Anglesey Holiday Lettings have always provided excellent customer care.

Lovely stay

Arrived to a clean and warm flat. Welcome pack nice to have, thanks for the goodies. (No anti bac spray take your own, and tiny washing up tube they leave is no good). Living room very comfortable and smart tv. Nice bedroom, but bed very hard. Cafe nextdoor was shut for xmas sadly as I know its good. Local pub opened again, went in just for a drink, staff nice. Beautiful place to be and Rhosneigr a few minutes away.

Great stay

Had a wonderful week. It seemed far more spacious than in the photos. The shower room is good-I'd worried as there were no photos but shelves to put kit on, really large shower, not slippery and good power.Would happily stay there again but next time would take ear plugs. Wonderfully quiet location in November but rain on the roof Velux window at night would wake me.Minor problem, everything else great.

Better than we could have hoped for.

This was so reasonably priced and perfect for us. We stayed with our two dogs and found it so comfortable. We were a short walk to the most amazing beach and really enjoyed the village. Great facilities at the holiday flat and a lovely cafe downstairs for when we felt lazy. We wouldn’t think twice about staying again if we came to Anglesey.

Ty Mabon from my perspective

The apartment was lovely, it was clean and felt spacious. It had everything that you could need in the well stocked kitchen area. Could have done with more coat hangers in bedroom wardrobe. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom clean and had plenty of towels and toilet rolls. The only downside for me were the steep steps up to the property, which being an older person I found challenging especially when moving my things in on arrival.

We will return

We had a brilliant 3 night stay and loved it so much we will definitely go back. The location next to the coffee shop and so near to an amazing beach and coastal walks made it perfect for us. Anglesey as a location is also wonderful and we have so much more to explore. The property was comfortable and well equipped. The only improvement would be some drawers in the bedroom, there is space for them if the dressing table and bedside tables were replaced with drawers. It was ok living out of bags for a few nights but it would deter me from booking a longer break. This is a small detail but as others have commented on it also one to be considered by the owners. The staff are super helpful and the booking process was really good. I loved the downloadable app with all the housekeeping info - very useful. Thankyou!

Excellent location

Smart apartment for two people. Comfortable and clean. In our opinion it lacks a dishwasher. The location is great for coastal walks and scenery. Pub only 5 minutes walk, with the bonus of a local well stocked shop.

perfect bolt hole

the apartment had everything we needed for a few days of escapism and the beautiful empty beach at Aberrfraw aloud us that. With plenty of great walking on the doorstep, my husband and I, and our dogs were treated to the beauty that Anglesey has to offer. The apartment was well furnished and equipped, even treats for the dogs. It was exceptionally clean and very homely, with the only suggestion being perhaps the inclusion of soft lighting in the living room, with the addition of a lamp. Also while it was fabulous that we could access a charging point, the charger is very slow and cars were charging for a considerable length of time, with other vehicles in the car park obstructing access to the charging point, this did prove a bit of an inconvenience.

A cosy and clean apartment with beautiful local beaches.

The cottage was clean and cosy with a well equipped kitchen good shower and a comfortable bed. We did think that the bedside tables should be replaced with bedside draws to give more storage space for clothing. Apart from that we had a wonderful break and would recommend Ty Mabon.

Quiet, Comfortable and brilliant location

I spent another short break with my dog, the location is wonderful and the cafe opposite is super. The apartment is comfortable and very suitable for a short stay for one or two people. A couple of points there is very little storage no where to unpack clothes only small cleaning storage cupboard. A dustpan and brush would help usually always provided especially when near the beach, also after using the frying pan there wasn’t any kitchen towel to wipe out the oil so had to use toilet paper, a slight concern as didn’t want to block the sink. Just have to remember to bring next time.

Lovely base to explore

We had a lovely stay at Ty Mabon and especially enjoyed being able to walk to the beach with our dog. The apartment was smaller than we thought but was very cosy to stay in. The only thing that would.improve it would be more storage in the bedroom (drawers etc) and more coat hangers provided. Was perfect otherwise and we would definitely stay again.

Comfortable Stay

The property was very clean & comfortable. A good selection of kitchen utensils & crockery for all cooking needs. It does lack storage in the bedroom, which could do with draws & more coat hangers. We were disappointed with the cooker & trays which needed scrubbing, before we could use. The location is ideal for the beach, which is only 10min short walk. The cafe at the back of the property is highly recommended. Rhosneigr is 4 miles away, which has great restaurant’s & cafe’s. We would recommend this property and will ourselves re-book in the future.

Aberffraw cottage

Lovely little cottage has everything you need even a welcome pack with beautiful homemade biscuits. The walk down the side of the river to a huge beautiful beach is such a lovely extra to have on your doorstep...my only tiny upset is that there are no pubs or restaurants to eat locally apart fgom the lovely cafe/bar on the complex.we never ate there because we could never get a table, even though we were staying on the complex? Would definatley return x

Fabulous stay in Aberffraw

Such a great location for exploring Anglesey, but also with a stunning beach on your doorstep. Ty Mabon is a lovely little flat, we have been twice now. It is very comfortable and well equipped. If I were to add anything to the flat I would ask for some draws in the bedroom as there is plenty of room to have them beside the bed. There is very little storage for your clothes, especially if you are there for a week and prepared for all seasons. That said, I would hesitate to stay there again.

Excellent location lovely cottage. No drawers in the bedroom was a bit of a pain so had to live out of a suitcase for a week which is not great and only 4 hangers in the wardrobe. Dinner plates did not fit in the microwave so note this if having a takeaway and need to warm it. A bread bin would be useful. Steps to property are quite steep/deep be wary of these if have mobility issues Ideal for a walk to the 'church in the sea', the cider farm is well worth a visit and great beach walks on the door step.

Lovely property and in a good location

Ty Mabon is a great little property and some lovely walks nearby. Nice to have the cafe nearby also. We did have problems with the heating on our first night (not ideal in January!) but Anglesey Holiday Lettings had it all sorted the following day. I have marked down Comfort/Condition for this reason.

Break after Christmas for the new year

Loved our stay here property is bigger than the one we stayed in previously;which suited us better as it has a small dinning table and a corridor for leaving coats and wellies in when we came off the beach with our dog. The beach is beautiful and totally unspoilt and only a five minute walk away. We stayed in August fell in love with the area and booked to come back in March and the decided last minute to book our December so glad we did. Property has everything you need to self cater.
