Schön renovierte Scheune. Geräumig, luftig und doch gemütlich. Perfekter Ort für Freunde oder Familie, um zusammen zu kommen. Fünf Minuten Fahrt nach Blackwaterfoot, wo Sie Geschäfte, einen Golfplatz, Reitställe, einen Pool und einen Sandstrand finden.
Mill Barn ist von zentraler Bedeutung, um überall auf der Insel zu reisen. Der Hauptfährhafen in Brodick ist weniger als 20 Autominuten entfernt.
Wenn Sie Fahrräder mitbringen, steht im Garten ein abschließbarer Schuppen zur Verfügung.

Diese Scheunenumwandlung hat die Lounge im Obergeschoss mit Blick auf die Küche. Alle anderen Räume befinden sich im Erdgeschoss. Es hat eine Nasszelle mit WC und Waschbecken und ein Duschbad mit WC und Waschbecken. Vier Schlafzimmer und ein Büro- / Arbeitsraum, in dem Sie an Ihrem Laptop sitzen und arbeiten können, um eine Verbindung zum WLAN herzustellen. Für die nassen Tage gibt es Regale mit verschiedenen Büchern, Spielen und DVDs. Es gibt eine Waschmaschine und einen Trockner, so dass Sie nicht nach Hause gehen müssen, um eine Wäsche zu waschen. Es gibt einen großen Garten an der Vorderseite und an der Seite, der kindersicher ist. Im Garten steht Ihnen eine Picknickbank zur Verfügung. Im Schuppen stehen Gartenstühle. Im Schuppen gibt es Platz für Fahrräder.

Lovely property. Very suitable for a family holiday. Everything you need is there and a lot of little extras which just make it perfect. Would not hesitate to recommend it. Ruth was a lovely host and even left a welcome gift of cheese and oatcakes which was very thoughtful.

Had an amazing time on Arran, The Mill Barn was a perfect location to explore all around the island with everywhere within east driving distance. The bus from the Mill Barn to Blackwaterfoot was less than 5 min away ideal for going to The Kinloch Hotel for a drink or food.Mill Barn was spacious and everything catered for.Ruth was always in touch and was happy to accommodate check in and check out times which was really helpful. Would definitely venture back to Arran in the future.

Fab time in Arran

Great base to discover Arran from. Had everything we needed in the cottage, well stocked kitchen, washing machine for washing all those swimming costumes etc. well worth a stay 😁

Another excellent stay!

This is our second time staying at Mill barn and it won't be the last. Ruth is an excellent host and the property was spotless. Its got a lot of charm and character to it and is in a great location short drive from the beach at blackwaterfoot, a visit to King's caves or bellvue farm. Another excellent holiday with the kids. Can't recommend this place enough!

Very comfortable & well equipped accommodation

A good location for exploring the west of Arran. The property actually seemed more spacious than in the photos. Comfortable beds & 2 good showers. The kitchen is well equipped, should you wish to prepare & cook your own meals. Local buses pass the door which we used. Also very good riding stables 5 minutes away.

Peace in my time

Lovely stay in a clean and spacious cottage. No noisy neighbours or much traffic noise. Good position from which to explore the island. Nice touch with the sample of cheese and oatcakes! Dog friendly, and a nice selection of DVD films to boot. Would thoroughly recommend.

Lovely cottage on amazing Arran

This is a lovely property in Shiskine about 20 minutes from the ferry port at Brodick. Everything was as described and well prepared. The only thing we missed was an iron and maybe a welcome pack would be nice. Otherwise this is fantastic property and given it can sleep 7, great value. The owner, Ruth, was also very helpful.

Fantastic property !!

This property was just what we needed for our week away. Beds were made up ready for us, With blankets on just in case. As well as hot water bottles. Plenty of space to store our clothes plus chairs to sit on. Towels for all of us. There was tonnes of space for everyone to have time out in the evenings. Plus dvds, books, games for all. The kitchen was well equipped had everything we needed in there. Including the bits that we may have forgotten. (Tea, coffee, sugar and tea. Hand wash, and fairy liquid, kitchen roll, toilet roll).. A washer machine which is needed for an under 3 year old.!!. The garden was great for the dogs to relax in, plus seating with cushions which were ideal with the great weather we had. The house was in an ideal position for us to travel around. Ruth left us a little treat. Which was lovely to find. Great communication with Ruth throughout the whole visit. It has been fantastic and we will be back again 😁

Fab new year stay

Very easy to find and great communication from Ruth before we went meant I felt really well prepared for my trip. The barn is very spacious and well resourced along with being comfortable and lovely for a cosy winter stay - we did lots of cooking and board games and it was perfect. Big thanks to Ruth for providing all the necessary equipment for taking our baby too it was great. We had some lovely walks and runs on Arran and Blackwaterfoot the local town/village has good shops including the bakery! Probably the only downside is that walking from the front door involves quite a bit of walking on road before reaching a path but with a car the options were great!

Fantastic, spacious property in central location

We had a fantastic time staying at this property for a week. It's well located in Shiskine - a great location to access most of the island (assuming you have a car). Very close to Blackwaterfoot which has a few local amenities as well as a lovely beach for walking our dog. The kitchen is very well-equipped for cooking from scratch, which we did most nights. The property is extremely roomy - the photos really don't do justice to how spacious the property actually is! Everything you need is provided, washing machine, towels, etc. Ruth was just fantastic as a host, totally the right level of communication. I would highly recommend a stay here and will certainly be back for our next visit to Arran as a group!

Fantastic Holiday Home. Highly recommended.

After many many years of staying in holiday homes this is definitely one of our best experiences. Mill barn is fantastic. Top quality fixtures snd fittings, spotlessly clean, everything one could imagine in the kitchen and more. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. With ten year old twins and a six year old we made great use of the study for crafts etc. The upstairs lounge was lovely and relaxing. Thank you so much Ruth for sharing your lovely home.

This property is nicer in reality than the pictures on the web site. It is very comfortable and particularly suitable for families with children. It has a well equipped kitchen and laundry.

We lived in Mill Barn for 14 years and my husband renovated it while we lived there. As a family we loved the spacious barn and it's in a great location. When the boys left home we decided to downsize and bought a property on the other side of the Island. We didn't want to sell Mill Barn so I gave up my job and decided to go into business myself. Now you can come and stay in the Barn and see what you think.
