Die neu errichtete (2016) Remington Ranch Lodge ist eine 2.200 m² große Anlage, die für diejenigen konzipiert wurde, die auf der Suche nach einem lebendigen Erlebnis für Jäger und Naturliebhaber sind. Wir können exklusiv buchen oder mehrere Kunden auf Zimmerbasis unterbringen. Wenn sich also im Kalender herausstellt, dass wir Gäste haben, können wir möglicherweise noch auf Ihre Bedürfnisse eingehen. Bitte erkundigen Sie sich bei uns nach der Verfügbarkeit. Die Lodge befindet sich nur 5 Minuten nordöstlich der wunderschönen Independence, Ks, und liegt mehr als 1/4-Meile von der Straße entfernt, genau in der Mitte des 114 Hektar großen kontrollierten Schießgebiets. Weitere 90 Hektar stehen nur wenige Meilen nördlich zur Verfügung. Hochland-Jagdpakete (Fasan, Chukar, Wachtel) sind vom 1. September bis 31. März auf Anfrage erhältlich oder entspannen Sie einfach mit Ihrer Angelrute um unser 3 Morgen großes Seegrundstück direkt vor Ihrer Tür (nur Fangen und Freilassen).

Remington Ranch ist auch "Pet Friendly" und hat Zwinger auf dem Gelände. Zögern Sie also nicht, diesen besonderen Freund oder Jagdpartner für dieses unglaubliche Hochland-Jagderlebnis mitzubringen. Willst du jagen, aber keinen Hund haben ... ??? Kein Problem. Wir haben einige der besten Hochlandhunde des Landes im Team.

Was ist mit der Hirsch- und Truthahnjagd, die Sie fragen? Die Remington Ranch ist nur wenige Minuten von mehr als 13.000 Hektar öffentlichen Jagdgebieten im US-Bundesstaat Kansas entfernt. Ein Großteil dieses staatlichen öffentlichen Landes ist auch eines der besten Jagdgebiete für Wasservögel im Staat. Darüber hinaus gibt es in der gleichen Gegend auch hunderte Morgen öffentlicher Zugänge in Privatbesitz. Wenn das nicht genug ist, gibt es in der Independence-Gegend auch mehrere Top-Sportfischerseen, darunter das Elk City Reservoir, das Big Hill Reservoir, den Independence State Lake, den Verdigris River und den Elk River.

Our experience was one for the books. Russel and Jan are amazing hosts who have put a lot of love and care into their property. We had a gorgeous sunset, a spectacular fire, and the best thing of all was the sweet, attention seeking cats that couldn’t get enough scritches. This property was the perfect space to celebrate my friend’s birthday and get together for the evening. We will be back in the future!

Nothing short of Amazing

My family and I stayed here while moving our daughter in for school, and the property was absolutely gorgeous. Cathy was warm and welcoming, and Russell was incredibly attentive and accommodating through our phone interactions. Although we didn’t have much time to enjoy all the amenities because we were constantly on the go, we were thoroughly impressed. I would highly recommend this property.

A very special place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Remmington Ranch. We traveled from Connecticut to Kansas (our first time there) for a whirlwind 2 nights for our son's wedding on the 4th. It was a very busy visit with all the wedding festivities, but in between we were able to relax and spend quality time together enjoying the beautiful views and fishing in the pond. I found it so peaceful just sitting in the rocker on the porch with my coffee in the morning or just reading my book. The accommodations were just lovely, and we really enjoyed looking at all the rustic touches. The kids also enjoyed the pool table. The place was immaculate, the kitchen well stocked and the beds so comfy. Rusty and Jan were right next door in case we needed anything and we enjoyed our chats on the porch. Spending Independence Day in Independence Kansas at Remmington Ranch made a very special weekend for my family even more special and we will treasure the memories forever.

Overall we really enjoyed the stay! We came in from Arizona for a family reunion at Elk City Lake. The owner was incredibly friendly and greeted us with midwestern hospitality upon our arrival and ensured we were during well throughout our stay. The property was absolutely beautiful. My husband and my teenage boys really enjoyed fishing in the pond and caught a few large catfish and a bass. I personally enjoyed sitting on the back porch in the rocking chair while I drank my coffee. The only thing I would like to mention is that had I known the amount of trophies and prized possessions that were out on display, I probably would not have booked this place as we stayed with my sister who has young children. The owner did send a message to warn me that there were trophies and things out, but I didn’t actually realize how many there would be until we arrived. There were trophies adorned along the stair way leading up to the second floor, the window panes and all across the top bar balcony. None of this was pictured in the posting so we were paranoid we were going to accidentally break something the whole time. I would recommend this place to stay overall, but be weary if you have smaller children.

Rusty was very tentative, I overall impressed with how well the property was and how in touch Rusty is with his client Rusty and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and all of our needs were met. Like staying with family

This is an absolutely gorgeous lodge and property. If you are looking for a place to stay with hunting buddies, a private getaway with a spouse, or quiet place to listen to nature and unplug, this meets all requirements. You are close enough to the city to get needed supplies, yet far enough to leave the city lights and sounds. The owners live next door and are readily available at any time. As a matter of fact, my wife and I were left stranded without transportation at the end of a hike on a nearby trail, Russell jumped in his truck to come get us without hesitation or displeasure. We had the added pleasure of visiting with Russell, at our invitation, almost every evening on the porch overlooking their beautiful pond and property. We love talking to people and hearing their stories so this was something we looked forward to every evening, and hoped he would have time to spend with us. Whether he had time or not, he always made time. If you get the opportunity, request he tell you stories of the lodge's namesake, Remington, as well as his other Lab's. You will enjoy every minute. We will definitely return to see our new friends, The Bakers, at Remington Lodge.

Perfect Kansas Getaway!

What a unique experience! The Bakers were so kind and treated us like family from the moment we arrived. We were marveled by the property and its relaxing and comfortable amenities. Nothing has been overlooked. We experienced amazing sunset views under the veranda, star gazed the night sky, enjoyed fishing (and catching) in the private lake and ponds, and were fascinated by birds - purple martins, two families of geese, and the sounds of quail and chukar calls. Such a memorable, relaxing, and educational experience for 2 senior couples while attending the Symphony in the Flint Hills. Learning of Remmington’s successes made the trip even more meaningful. Thanks again Rusty & Jan for your hospitality. You’ve made Remmington Ranch a very special and memorable destination.

The owners welcomed us better than family!! He showed us around and we were seeing this place with our jaws dropped. We couldn’t believe how beautiful it is!
