Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Most of my comments have to do with upgrades the owners need to address. There were 3 of us there for 8 days. The Lucky Savannah Property company was terrific to work with and addressed the very minor things we wanted: more towels and a ceiling fan that was not working consistently. Also they extremely responsive with booking questions and help. Big Kudos to them! Anyone considering this property should know that the staircase to the 2 bedrooms is very steep, somewhat narrow and are consistent with an older house. Mobility would be a BIG consideration here, as the only bathroom is at the bottom of the stairs that have narrow depth, and some inconsistent spacing. (Historical property issue?)The furniture in the living room and generally speaking is in fair to shabby shape. Not terribly comfortable, but workable. The upstairs bedroom with the twin beds, has truly one mattress that should be replaced. It is old, not very supportive and thin in depth, also very noisy when body weight shifts. The other twin is fine. The master bedroom (also upstairs) was fine. The kitchen is great, but the pots and pans need upgrading as they have Teflon or nonstick coating that has been overly scraped and damaged. The appliances work well; fridge, stove/oven, washer and dryer and are clean. The outdoor area was a great place to hang out. Some attention is needed in overseeing trash that was in the bushes needs pickup, and maintenance tools (cans of paint etc. by back porch steps) could be put away. Overall, the house was clean and well maintained. As stated, I think the owner needs to address some of the stated aspects to really make this a better rental. Location is slightly off the beaten track but close enough to do a 10 minute walk and be in fun areas.

Great trip to Savannah

We loved the location. The stairs made me nervous but my 3 year old was fine with it. Heads up- bathroom is downstairs. Off street parking and back patio could have used some sprucing up but overall we loved having that space. Proximity to the park was perfect. We ended up driving to the river front but could have easily caught the bus. We would recommend the location and rental.

Nice condo

The location is perfect, and the condo was great too. The only thing to note is that the stairs are unusually narrow and steep, with the bottom few being different heights, too. Tricky for the kids to navigate, but otherwise we were really comfortable during our stay.

Great location

The location is very walkable ( just not in the summer, too hot). The property is very clean and the shower is wonderful with great water pressure. Like some reviews mentioned the staircase is very steep and slippery. The kids fell several times. Out of the 3 beds one was great the king bed andbone of the twin beds were very lumpy and uncomfortable. Overall a great place to stay especially withkids.

Would definitely stay here again. Suited our needs just perfectly. Location was wonderful. Parking was a plus. I had read all of the reviews so I knew what things were not in the kitchen and brought them myself , such as a cookie sheet.

Excellent location, very clean and modern

We loved this accommodation! Very roomy for two people, great location near Clary's and several squares. It was quiet. It was clean & comfy. One tip: the bedroom facing the street has a LOT of natural light, so bring an eye mask and you'll be golden. Decorations are great and there are several good photo opp areas in the house. A family of four could easily stay here.

Location was just under a mile from the riverfront, so very walkable.The townhouse could use a coat of paint throughout, and as others have mentioned, the stairs are not easy, so anyone with mobility concerns should not stay here.The attached townhouse was playing music from about 9:30pm-7:30am very loudly. We asked him to turn it down for the third night and he gladly did so.

Great location but…

We loved the location of this property and nearly walked everywhere. The place was charming and the parking spot was a great added bonus…however, given that we only really used the place for sleeping, the biggest disappointment was the beds. All three of the beds were so incredibly uncomfortable and noisy. An investment needs to be made in the mattress department.

Great trip to Savannah

This property is approximately 25 minutes from the airport (our Uber rides were $65 there and $40 back). Thankfully the house was ready a couple of hours early and we were able to check in. It was easy to get in with a code and the property managers were very kind and easy to work with. The house smelled a little musty when we first got there, but it had been closed up. It was clean, but could definitely use a good deep clean. The outside of the refrigerator was dirty as were the rugs upstairs and the bathroom floor. It didn't ruin our trip by any means, but could use a good scrub. Other than that, some of the things that other reviews mentioned we noticed as well. Yes, the stairs are steep. Not a reason to leave a bad review, but good for people to be aware of. Also, the tub drained very slow which made it slippery. Again, just a potential safety thing. As far as everything else, you could just tell that it was a business that owned it and not a person. Only one extra blanket, no salt/pepper (although a stocked kitchen), no cushions on the chairs out back etc. As far as the location, you're about a mile from River St. Easily walkable, seemed safe after dark. We enjoyed our stay.

Lovely area of Savannah

The home is located in the historic district of Savannah, and we could walk to many places of interest. It is located very close to a Kroger’s grocery store as well. If I could make some suggestions, they would mostly have to do with the kitchen. There’s a large fridge, oven/stove, and microwave, but there are no potholders, no baking sheet, and only one dish towel, which made using the oven challenging. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but little things (like tissues and hand soap in the kitchen, as well as the suggestions mentioned) would be welcome improvements.

Location is excellent, everything you need, but a few problems

For the most part the apartment was great but one of the twin beds was broken and so my daughter had to sleep on the couch downstairs. We reported it to the property manager and I feel confident they will send someone to fix it so this is not likely to be an issue for the next renter, but for us it was a minor inconvenience. On the upside, she said the couch was fairly comfy. We also did not expect the bathroom to be downstairs so near to the common space and not upstairs near the rooms. But we liked the location and the place is perfectly equipped with everything you could need and was very clean.

A few areas that you should be aware of...#1 the parking space is in the rear of the house but only the front door can be used to enter. There is an alley but someone put a recycle bin against the gate. #2 the only bathroom is on the first floor. Normally wouldn't be an issue but if you are upstairs you need to come down the very steep steps with the bottom being varied heights and almost spiral. There should be illumination of the bottom stairs. Would not recommend to anyone with children or anyone with balance/mobility issues.The kitchen is equipped w pots and pans but no oils, spices etc. Most Airbnb and Vrbo properties do have basics. Which brings me to the paper products...Cheap cheap and minimal! Guess this is the difference between a Corporate rental and owners taking care of guests.
