Das Walcot Loft ist ein brandneues, vom Architekten entworfenes, kleines Mietshaus mit eigenem Parkplatz im Zentrum von Bath. Sonniges & helles Wohnzimmer und Balkon mit toller Aussicht.

Das Hotel liegt in einer ruhigen Gasse, die zum Fluss führt, mitten im Herzen von Walcot - Baths Handwerkerviertel. Es ist umgeben von wunderbaren unabhängigen Cafés, Restaurants, Pubs und Geschäften. Die Hauptattraktionen von Bath (Royal Crescent, Abbey, Thermae Spa usw.), Galerien und wundervolle Geschäfte erreichen Sie in 5 bis 10 Minuten zu Fuß.

Unser Architekt hat dieses hübsche zweistöckige Haus entworfen, um die angrenzende Regency-Terrasse des Grades II zu kontrastieren und zu ergänzen und um die sonnige Lage und die herrliche Aussicht zu genießen.

Paul und ich arbeiten als Innenarchitekten und Künstler und wir haben es geliebt, diesen besonderen Ort zu schaffen. Ein Großteil der Möbel und der Küche wurde von Paul mit liebevollem Altholz handgefertigt. Die Wände sind mit Originalkunstwerken gefüllt. Es ist ein warmer, heller und ruhiger Ort - perfekt für einen Wochenendausflug.

Wir haben viel darüber nachgedacht, was unsere Gäste brauchen werden, daher ist die Küche gut ausgestattet mit hochwertigem Geschirr, Gläsern usw. Hier finden Sie eine große und kleine Cafeteria, einen elektrischen Milchschäumer und guten gemahlenen Kaffee. Es wird hochwertige Bettwäsche mit hoher Fadenzahl sowie luxuriöse weiche Handtücher, Daunendecken und Kopfkissen verwendet. Eine Kingsize-Federkernmatratze sorgt für einen erholsamen Schlaf.

Wir haben eine weitere Urlaubsunterkunft in North Devon, einer großen Villa am Meer, die wir seit 2008 betreiben. Wir sind also gut daran gewöhnt, Mietplätze zu verwalten.

Das ganze Haus gehört Ihnen, einschließlich des Parkplatzes. Wir haben eine Kunstgalerie und ein Vintage-Möbelgeschäft in der Nähe. Wenn Sie Fragen haben, schauen Sie vorbei.

Walcott Loft had everything we needed for a two night stay. The parking was really convenient and we loved that we could then leave the car and walk into Bath. The balcony was so nice in the warm weather it makes the space seem so much bigger, our dog liked it too!

Fantastic comfortable mews apartment

Great, comfortable, contemporary mews very close to city centre with on site parking. It has a great balcony which was very welcome as the weather was warm.Bed was very comfortable and good quality linens throughout.Lovely extras on arrival, fresh bread, butter and milk, jams and marmalade with tea, coffee etc.I would highly recommend this place.

Easy to find in a quiet back street off the main road. All very clean and tidy. Some nice little extras like milk and butter in the fridge and some little pots of jam with bread on the table. We will definitely book again when in Bath.

Great location for walking to Bath highlights with nearby shops and watering holes in artsy district. Parking might be tricky for a larger car but it's great, and rare, to have onsite. Good location for city centre and amenities. Quite area. Property was clean and well fitted out. Comfy bed and adequate storage. Well fitted out kichen. Loved the balcony and bifold door. Convenience and comfort

Perfect location for walking the old city of Bath and discovering its delights. The apartment is not the easiest to find but the directions are good. Walcot Loft is perfect for two people: spacious lounge … we enjoyed being able to fully open the café doors to bring the outside in. Sleeping was comfortable. The only surprise was the tiny hand basin which is suitable for hand washing and the lack of vanity space made other body care / shaving etc problematic. That aside, we’d book there again. A lovely spot.

Good location!

My wife grew up in central Bath and was delighted with the proximity of the Walcot location. We walked every where. The Loft showed good design and artistic taste. Very comfortable and the balcony was a plus. The coffee and other food essentials provided was a nice touch. It was a bit tricky to find at first - being _immediately_ after the first left hand turn of the narrow lane Cleveland Cotts. We were unsure whether to clean the floors etc before we left. All good - very pleased to have stayed there!

Disappointed

Incorrect key code given,last two digits transposed. Only wash basin was so small it was unusable, it also failed to keep water in and leaked out onto floor. Shower, however, was good. Did not appreciate bohemian wardrobe, but very comfortable bed. Parking space VERY tight, with nothing over 4000mm fitting the space. Regret, we would not return.

Hi Harrod I was disappointed to receive your review, as most people really enjoy their stay at Walcot Loft. The code I gave you was correct. I used it on the morning of your arrival, and I have used it again this afternoon. The numbers also work if used in a different order (hence you managed to open the key box), but the set key code is the one I texted. The parking space is tight, but we are in central Bath. We manage to park our long wheel base transporter in the space without any issues. Thank you for your feedback about the sink & apologies it wasn’t up to standard, the plumber is actually already booked in to replace it. Best wishes Kirstie

Creatively decorated but not cosy

Friend Fran and I thought we’d be fine in a king bed, but the only bed in the loft was queen-sized, at least in American sizes. One of us slept on - not a couch, but a love-seat!…not comfortable. In the morning, there was only enough coffee for ONE cup. In the shower, our shampoos had to be put on the floor. Would have been helpful to have a walking map of the area, which we figured out on our second day

Our sofa is never described as an additional place to sleep as it's just a 2 seater. Perfect location if looking to stay near the town centre

This is a lovely little place and very well decorated and the use of room is amazing. Beautiful views, lovely shower and was convenient as everything was within walking difference, 20mins of that to get into town. Only down side was there was no microwave and I feel like 1 could easily fit on the side. Also, it wasn’t as clean as I would expect. The kettle was full of limescale, some of the cutlery still had food stuck to it, the shower had hairs in there and when turned on there was bits of dirt that came from the shower. I feel like if they paid as much attention to the cleanliness as they do the decorative side it would be a 10/10 property. I feel like it was lacking slightly with things being clean. However, it was a beautiful stay for a weekend and I would stay again because of the view and convenience of distance!

This residence is 2 levels. The bedroom and bathroom are on the lower level and the kitchen, living room and large balcony are on the upper level. The location is 10 minutes or less into Bath. It was easy to prepare meals and hang out. No microwave. Bed was comfortable.

Cozy flat for Bath Getaway

Snug and stylish flat in Bath. There are several restaurants and pubs nearby but it was never noisy or rowdy at night. This particular summer, it was very hot in Britain when we were visiting, and the addition of a fan would have been nice in the flat. However, once the windows were open, the flat cooled down nicely.

We worked with a wonderful local architect to create a lovely little mews house in an unloved back yard. The location is great - near to town, but nice & quiet. Great views, and a super sunny aspect. As the property is brand news its cosy & warm.

Centre of town, but you have your own private parking space at the front of the property - a rare bonus! Also the sunny balcony, with huge bi fold doors which open out fully. The views are lovely too - looking up towards the hills surrounding Bath.
