Willow Cottage ist ein charmantes, freistehendes Ferienhaus mit zwei Schlafzimmern im Zentrum der historischen Kathedrale von Ely. Die vielen Attraktionen, die Ely zu bieten hat, darunter die Kathedrale und das Haus von Oliver Cromwell, sind zu Fuß erreichbar. Der Bahnhof Ely ist leicht zu Fuß erreichbar und bietet regelmäßige Verbindungen nach Cambridge (20 Minuten) und London (75 Minuten). Die Pferderennstadt Newmarket ist nur 25 Autominuten entfernt. Es gibt mehrere Websites des National Trust, die leicht zu erreichen sind.

Die Unterkunft wurde kürzlich zu einem hohen Standard renoviert und umfasst: Geräumiges Esszimmer mit Platz für vier Personen. Gut ausgestattete Küche mit Backofen, Induktionskochfeld, Mikrowelle, Kühl- / Gefrierschrank, Spülmaschine und Waschmaschine. Wohnzimmer mit offenem Kamin. Zwei Schlafzimmer, eines mit Doppel- und eines mit Reißverschluss- und Link-Betten, die als zwei kleine Einzelbetten oder ein Kingsize-Bett festgelegt werden können (bitte geben Sie bei der Buchung Ihre Präferenz an). Duschraum mit begehbarer Dusche, WC und Waschbecken. Parkplatz für zwei kleine oder ein großes Auto. Hofgarten mit Möbeln.

Lovely little house in a great location

Willow Cottage is delightful, well-equipped accommodation in an excellent location, within easy walking distance to Ely's tourist sights and public transport. It was good to be able to park off-road. The decor is lovely and everything we needed was provided. The courtyard was a great place to relax on a sunny afternoon. Information provided in the welcome pack was useful and instructions were clear. My one suggestion would be for provision of larger bath towels. We would definitely stay again and would recommend Willow Cottage to anyone considering a visit to Ely.

Perfect city location

Willow Cottage is beautifully decorated and fully equipped with everything you’d need. The shower in the bathroom is very good and both bedrooms are a decent size. The kitchen is excellent and the rear courtyard’s an absolute delight for those warmer evenings with a glass of wine.The cottage was spotlessly clean.Ely is a very vibrant city, with lots to do all within walking distance. Shops, Cathedral, river, restaurants and railway station are all easily accessed.We had an excellent stay and Tracey is a wonderful, caring host.

Excellent on every level

Excellent property- spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Dedicated parking space right outside the door, so really easy to unload. Within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go, so the car stayed where it was! We appreciated the thoughtfulness that went into making it a comfortable place to be- even if we didn't have time to read the books or play the games they contributed to making the place more like a home We are already looking forward to our next visit to Ely and we will be certainly booking Willow Cottage again

We had a lovely stay

The cottage was really lovely and is in a great location. We were really comfortable there and slept well. Great communication with Tracey. Also great to have parking onsite, though a dropped kerb might make it a little easier. Overall, really happy and would stay again!

Fantastic pre arrival contact with owner, who were exceptionally helpful. House was great, suited our needs perfectly. Very central, easy walking distance to shops, cathedral, or if eating out. Clear and precise instructions on how everything worked EG: shower, heating etc. Would definitely stay here again. Loved it!

Ely - Ist Stop

Willow Cottage was our first stop on a 5-week holiday in UK/Ireland. We found the cottage amazing & suited our needs perfectly. We parked our car when we got there & did not move it until we left. We could walk to everywhere we wanted to go, even to the railway station to catch a train into Cambridge for the day. (Punt on the River Cam) The Ely Cathedral is a must see. We recommend a 50yard walk to The High-Flyer Pub for a meal. We will highly recommend Willow Cottage to anyone we talk to. Disappointing.

Host was impossible to contact as she was away travelling so, when we had a problem understanding how the cooker worked she was unavailable. The manual explaining how everything in the cottage worked was tucked away in a dresser draw in the living room. Other than this, the rest of the holiday was very enjoyable. Cottage located in a very central spot.

Perfectly located for sightseeing and special occasions

We booked for a special occasion and the cottage was perfectly located to walk to our venue - Ely Cathedral. The cottage was lovely and clean with everything we needed. My only regret is that the weather prevented us from seeing the cottage in the warm sunshine. The owners were wonderfully helpful when we had a little hiccup with the hot water - coming over to help despite it being a Friday night. Thank you to them. We enjoyed our stay and the location of the cottage allowed us to get out and about easily - either shopping or sightseeing.
